I have done so much research on the solar installation companies in San Jose for about a year before I decided to go with Highlight Solar. Clean Solar was my first choice when I see the most positive reviews. Though, I see that the waiting time is very long and the price is more expensive than Highlight Solar. Therefore, I went with Highlight Solar for their lowest price that I could find out there. I went with Solarworld SW275 mono panels for the cost of $4.14 per watt before Federal rebate. I don't see any other solar companies out there that could compete with this price. Dean, the owner of the company explained every details about the installation process and he didn't hesitate to give extra your good advises.<br /><br />It took them 2 days to complete the installation and a few days to get the inspection completed. So the total time is less than 2 weeks from the date of signing the contract. Doug and Ricardo were the installers and I could see their did everything with care. They treated my home as theirs. They made clean cut on my stucco wall instead of breaking the wall to install new wiring. The final wall patches and painting were also clean and well done. Dough helped me rewired my breakers panel and helped me taped up all the exposed wire cuts no additional cost. <br /><br />It has been 2 months now and solar panels are generating very good amount of power. The average power that I get is about 10Kwatt/day using the 8x275W panels.
