JUST SO NO IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE

I signed up for SOLRITE residential backup battery program through the Texas VPP. What I got was green light solar as an installation subcontractor, and it has been a nightmare. Two different times they have been out to my house for five hours each time and it’s not installed yet. No ETA. They told me they just needed more pictures and I didn’t need to be home then a technician calls and says he will need access to the breaker box to install an emergency switch that is on backorder. Second time after five hours, they tell me oh we need to come back one more time because Solrite sent the wrong emergency switch. SOLRITE finances the project and does servicing after installation. They have nothing to do with technicians coming out to the house. I have BEGGED for them to call ahead just 15 minutes before they arrive so that I can put my dog away. It’s never happened. One check barely tapped on my utility room door and then just opened it right up without me saying a word. The emails I have received from my “project manager“ have been belittling and demeaning.. She has detailed all their “learning curve” problems and implied that if it wasn’t for Solarite and all their project requirements, it would be finished. I don’t care about all their problems. I just want my system done! If you have a choice, do not work with this company.
