Be cautious - Art means well but not suited for this business

I spent over $110K on a Solar System with Art Krebs. The problem is the system has underproduced by 20-30% every year. I have spent tons of hours trying to help troubleshoot the issue, everything from a 2 week monitor of FPL power to having to do electrical work myself. Turns out the problem is very simple. Art sold me a system based on a Sol-Ark 12k-p inverter. Art said my system would produce 40,917kWh in the first year. This is based on 25.6kW of solar panels installed on my roof, and the inverters producing up to 12kW of power from the solar. The problem is that the Sol-Ark 12k-p can only invert 9kW. Once I finally learned enough to understand the problem and pointed it out to Art, he said the only way he could fix the problem is if I paid for new inverters. I also still have installation issues where a promised generator auto-start does not work, loose connections have been found by other installers, incorrect wiring size caused a DC wire between my battery and combiner to burn up and burn a sizeable part of the wall it was installed on. I would be very careful about hiring Art, and I would strongly suggest you find a qualified electrician to check all the work they do.
