If you care about your home, do not use Better Earth Solar. They installed solar on our roof in 2022. Within months, our roof began leaking directly from the solar installation area. What followed has been over three years of water damage, mold, failed repairs, and complete refusal to take responsibility. Better Earth attempted multiple “repairs,” each of which either failed or made the damage worse. After one of their failed fixes, we discovered black mold inside our home, forcing us to file an insurance claim and live displaced from multiple rooms for months with our young children. We hired an independent licensed roofer who confirmed: • Improper solar installation • Cracked and displaced roof tiles • Poor workmanship directly caused by Better Earth Despite written proof, Better Earth refused to replace or properly repair the roof, claiming it was “no longer leaking.” It started leaking again in the exact same location on January 1, 2026, saturating insulation, drywall, and carpet. At that point, the damage was undeniable. Since then, we have called daily and received no response. This company will: • Damage your roof • Leave you with mold and major repairs • Refuse accountability • Stop responding when the problem resurfaces There are many solar companies that install systems without putting your home at risk. Better Earth is not one of them. Getting solar through them turned into a far larger, more expensive project than if we had never gone solar at all. Stay away if you don’t want to risk your home.
