Our residential solar project began in July 2025. ION Solar had been persistant in follow-up contact to our initial solar inquiry. Today is January 5, 2026. There have been delays, deception, disapointment to no end. The solar panels were installed PRIOR to ION Solar receing permission from our electric provider to do so. ION Solar failed to submit interconnection documentation which caaused delays in this project. The sales person advised our 1st payment would be due 90 days AFTER the system was in operation. THE SYSTEM IS NOT OPERATIONAL AND I AM BEING TOLD MY 1ST PAYMENT IS DUE NEXT WEEK ! I CAN NOT GET ION SOLAR TO RETURN MY PHONE CALLS, TEXT MESSAGES OR EMAILS ! I am not convinced going solar was a bad idea, but having ION SOLAR as the contractor has been an unbelievable frustration, DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING ION SOLAR PROMISES. Trying to terminate this fiasco would cost us over $3000 because we didn't terminate the agreement within 72 hours! We had no idea this is how we would be (mis)treated I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of New Mexico to report these business irregularities and fraudulant promoses. I doubt there is much that can be done for us, but I pray someone who might read this would be spared the frustration we have experienced. I dread to think ahead as to what other issues we will have to face after (IF) this system is ever active. Don't trust ION SOLAR !!!!!
