Review for Skyline Solar VA (Out of Business)

Install was great… then……

Skyline solar closed its doors just after finishing our solar project. This left us feeling abandoned but Justin assured us he would take care of any issues. To date we have had had only one issue and it appears to be major (13 of 24 panels stopped working) but we have yet to even get it looked at after almost 3 weeks. The problem started when we apparently there was a power issue from Rappahanoc Electric early the morning of 12/19/2025 that tripped all 4 breakers on our Solar controller. I reset the breakers myself when it was discovered but other than a remote review of the system by Justin we were promised a service guy would be out last Thursday or Friday but never showed up and no phone calls from Appleton. I have 2 major concerns. 1. No surge protection was installed with the solar system, Though highly recommended by the manufacturer. 2. Lack of responsiveness by Appleton. Though we were promised to be taken care of. Tomorrow is the first Monday after the the 26-26 holidays weeks. If we get this taken care of I will amend this review.
