I strongly regret choosing Smart Solar Energy.

Where do I start…. They approved my roof for solar installation after sending out an inspector, even though my roof was over 25 years old and clearly not suitable. This never should have been allowed, and I trusted their expertise. Now that I need roof work done, I’m being told it will cost $5,700 to remove and reinstall the panels—despite being told during the sales process that this would be done one time for free. On top of that, the system has never once produced enough energy to cover my electric bill in the two years since installation, which is very different from what was promised. The most frustrating part is the lack of accountability. I’ve been passed from person to person, calls go unanswered, and no one seems willing to address the issues or take responsibility. This experience has been expensive, stressful, and disappointing. I would not recommend solar through this company, and I strongly encourage anyone considering Smart Solar Energy to do thorough research before signing anything.
