Torturous process to add a backup battery

Everything on our project took way longer than expected, and then when they were done there were things that didn't work correctly. Plan design - 2 months, Permitting - 2 months. Permitting would have been faster if I had known I needed to sign things (multiple times). That started the "90 day" expected completion. Original install was the fastest thing - less than 2 months. But then there was product failure after product failure. I sort of have to trust them that 4 batteries and 3 inverters were all faulty (manufacturer did replace them after extensive trouble shooting) - but that bad string of luck really could have been install protocols too. The second star was earned just by the fact that the team eventually pulled it all together and got us the product that we had paid for. It took a full 12 months - easily 6 months late. Management didn't even consider a reduction in price for all of the delays and inconvenience to me the customer. What should have been 2 days for install/testing ended up being 20 visits or more.
