I have been working with ION Solar for over seven months, and the experience has been nothing short of unacceptable. What should have been a straightforward process has turned into a cycle of delays, excuses, and poor communication. My solar system remains unconnected, and to make matters worse, the battery they installed turned out to be defective. Instead of enjoying the benefits of my investment, I am stuck waiting for verification and authorization to operate — a process that has dragged on far too long. Throughout this ordeal, ION Solar has cost me six full days of time off from work to accommodate appointments that consistently led nowhere. Each visit ended with another excuse and no progress. Despite the time, effort, and money I’ve invested, I still have a non-functioning system. The lack of accountability and professionalism from this company has made what should have been an exciting upgrade to my home into a source of stress and regret. I have repeatedly requested to speak with someone at the corporate level to address these ongoing issues and find a resolution, but every request has been ignored or dismissed. Their representatives make promises they never follow through on, leaving me to constantly chase updates, return calls, and push for answers that never come. It’s clear that once they have your business, customer care is no longer a priority. The customer service experience has been one of the most disappointing aspects. ION Solar’s representatives claim they want to make things right, yet their actions show the opposite. There is no urgency, transparency, or accountability for their mistakes. They don’t seem to care about the time I’ve wasted or the frustration of investing thousands of dollars into a system that doesn’t work. Their “local company with a proven track record” pitch is exactly what convinced me to sign, and I deeply regret believing it. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly urge you to stay away from ION Solar. They have shown me nothing but delays, defective equipment, broken promises, and disregard for the customer. If you want to waste your resources and patience, then by all means, choose them. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
