Used to Be a Great Company-Not Anymore!

I’m extremely disappointed with Solar Negotiators and the lack of communication throughout my project. My project manager, Idalia Cruz, repeatedly brushed me off and seemed to have no idea what was going on with my installation. On our first call, she said she was waiting for clearance from my contractor about a structure on my property. I stayed on top of everything because my solar loan was already approved and sitting in my account .I didn’t want to start paying for something that wasn’t even installed yet. At one point, I was paying my full PG&E bill and the first payment on my solar loan, yet I still wasn’t even on the schedule …which is why I kept calling and following up so much. After checking with my contractor, I learned he had already emailed Solar Negotiators a week earlier and never received a response. Only after I made another call did someone else from the company finally reach out and get me scheduled. The installation itself went fine, but once it was done, my system still wasn’t turned on. When I called Idalia again, she dismissed my concerns and told me it takes “about 30 business days” for PG&E approval something I was never told before. A week later, PG&E approved it, yet my system was still off. When I called again, Idalia sounded annoyed and told me they needed two weeks to “monitor the system” before closing out the project. How can you monitor a system that isn’t even on? Two more weeks went by, and only on the FINAL day of my contract did someone finally come out to turn my system on. It’s now been two weeks since then, and I still haven’t had a closeout meeting. I’m a returning customer and have referred several people to Solar Negotiators in the past, but I won’t be doing that anymore. The customer service has gone downhill since my first experience in 2020. It feels like the company has grown too fast and can’t handle the number of customers they take on, which shows in the lack of communication and care. Save yourself the headache and go with a different solar company
