Bad service

It took 4 months from the time I paid in full until I received my panels. There was virtually no communication from them about the status in those 4 months. I cut a check for tens of thousands of dollars and received radio silence for months. It wasn't a good feeling. In the meantime I was trying to get the permitting sorted out (which they claimed they help with). My permit application was rejected once and I asked them for help. They charged me $500 for an electrical engineer stamp (which I'm not sure was even necessary), they also got the address wrong and corrected it, and got the wire gauge wrong (fire hazard, btw) and corrected it, but correcting the wire gauge size reverted the address change, so they had to change it back to the correct address! I submitted again and it failed because the same issue it was rejected for the first time still wasn't fixed. I needed an architectural design letter to verify load limits based on the roof rafters and ended up going with someone else to help because I don't trust Gigawatt. I don't know if the newest plans they sent are even going to work once the actual installer sees them, so my fingers are crossed. Never submit yourself to the private hell that is: Gigawatt Solar inc.
