Lies, lies, & more lies. HORRIBLE - Overpromise & underdeliver

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! RUN AWAY... FusionPower will over-promise and under-deliver. I have not had a good experience with FusionPower. I was not in the market for solar, although the salespersons (Ryan & Peyton) who came out unsolicited made it sound amazing with the new Tesla battery and overall program. He showed us the projected costs of solar derived from the last 12 months of my SRP power bill and what to expect re: power reserves and a low bill from SRP (not much more than $30 fees). Lies. The communication all the way through the process was poor to say the least, and they even gave me a giftcard to say 'sorry' at one point. They came out without appointments assuming we knew about them... we didn't. They initially had a design where this huge battery would be on my front walk-way and I vetoed that immediately. Then they gave me designs for the solar panels, which ended up changing (they assumed I knew they were changed) and in two different spots on the roof. Not a huge deal, but poor communication... again. It took longer than initially promised to get up and going. Once we were generating power from the sun, I noticed that at peak sun, the panels could not come even close to keeping up with the normal power usage for my home. Thus, the battery could never charge to 100% and SRP was requiring power just about all day to keep up. My normal "average" payment to SRP was $318/mo, but now I'm paying $211 for solar and this past month (October 2024) was another $301 from SRP, so I'm paying more for this package than I did previously without solar. I reached out to the CEO in September who called me back, but since I was heading out of town, I had to postpone further conversation until I returned. Then I couldn't reach him again - he pawned me off to others. Some changes were made to my system, evidently, but I've emailed the CEO twice in the last two weeks and he has not bothered to respond. Poor service once again. Par for the course. I would not recommend FusionPower as their service, communication, and cost algorythm is not good. My neighbor with the identical square footage signed up (after my initial recommendation, prior to knowing how the system would work), and she has 39 panels, whereas I only have 20. Her power bills were about 15-20% higher than mine, but she has double the amount of panels? Their algorhythm sees flawed for figuring out the solar needs. Now I've learned that since I didn't pay 30% of the entire principal (about $13,000+), my monthly payment will go up about 50%. From what the salesperson tells you to what the loan actually is, is completely different. My former average bill of $318 (SRP) is now going to be $302 (Solar) PLUS whatever the SRP charge is ($300+ in July 2025). The solar and battery cannot keep up with our power usage which is less than it was a year ago. I'm in awe of the shady sales tactics. LIES, LIES, LIES. Unbelievable.
