Have to sue them

Plugpv refuses to fix holes in roof from poor installation, the install missed the studs and when it rains, the roof leaks. Two techs from Plugpv admit the mistake but are unable to plug holes and walked away from the issue. The install crew also damaged the roof all around the panels, reducing the roof life from 10-15 years to 1-2 years. They trampled around the panels so hard that you can see worn paths on the shingles. So in addition to a roof that now leaks, we need the entire roof to be replaced. We got a bad crew for the install. They left trash everywhere and clearly damaged the roof in several ways. In addition to two PlugPV techs who admit it is a faulty install, we've had 3 roofers confirm the leaks and roof damage are clearly from the solar install. Despite the overwhelming fault, Plugpv sent us to their insurance who won't cover roof damage, which is incredible given that Plugpv directly damages the roof. As a result, were left with nearly $40,000 in repairs Plugpv will not pay for. We have retained counsel and are forced to sue Plugpv to hold them.accountable. We chose PlugPv based on the reviews, which at the time we're very positive. Our experience was nothing close to positive - dealing with this company has been a two year nightmare.
