I wish I could give zero stars for our experience with Sunnova. This company has been absolutely horrible to deal with. After a devastating fire at our home, we reached out to Sunnova for help coordinating the removal of the solar panels so construction work could proceed — and were met with nothing but silence and roadblocks. Not only did they refuse to assist us during an emergency situation, but their technician failed to return to the property or even report on the condition of the home. No follow-up. No removal of the panels. Just complete abandonment of responsibility. Even worse — they have now placed a lien on our home, despite the fact that it was their team who failed to take action or even communicate. We tried to escalate the matter, but you can’t speak to a manager. There’s no access to their legal department, and our calls and emails go unanswered. It’s like dealing with a wall of silence. To make matters worse, they’ve taken advantage of my father throughout this ordeal. This company operates more like a scam than a legitimate solar energy provider. We are heartbroken and frustrated, and we want others to know not to trust Sunnova with your home or your peace of mind.
