We had solar panels installed after being promised that we would not get any electric bills from FPL unless we added something that would use a lot more electricity. This was not true, even if the panels produced enough power, there is still a minimum bill. we were also promised that there would be a reconciliation at the end of each year and if the panels produced more electricity than we used, there would be a credit. This has not happened. We were told that if the power went out, we would still have electricity thru the inverters on the solar panels for up to 2 days. that was NOT true, without batteries, there is no power if power goes out. After many calls, texts and emails, we finally spoke with a rep who said the salesperson was wrong telling us all of this and that he miscalculated how many panels were required to eliminate our electric bills. Additional panels were added and after another 4 months, we still are not getting the low electric bills from FPL that we were promised. Supposedly a rep is monitoring our usage and trying to understand the problem. we have provided our FPL bills for the last 3 years multiple times for the reps to get this figured out and still have gotten any satisfactory results. If I had looked into this further, I would never have gone with Lunex Power/Sunnova. We are paying monthly on the solar panels and still paying FPL and this now costs us more per month than if we had just kept FPL as our power source. We are very dissatisfied with the customer service, the solar panels and the whole process.
