It's been a pretty horrible experience so far. The permitting phase took some time but that was expected, no complaint there. It was after the permitting was completed that the issues began. Someone reached out to schedule a date for installation but no one showed up for the installation, nor did anyone call. We were eventually able to reschedule the installation and everything went well that time. Roughly a week later, someone came out to inspect everything. Everything passed inspection but the inspector apparently forgot to turn the system back on before he left and it took a day and a half before we realized it and restarted the system ourselves. Finally, I'm very concerned that the size of the array is going to be inadequate for our needs. We've been installed for some time now and, so far, our energy consumption is outpacing our energy production. When we purchased the system, the salesperson assured us (after reviewing our past utility bills) that it would be sufficient for our energy needs. The monthly cost of the system far exceeds our what our electrical bills have been but, if it replaced said electrical bill, we felt that would acceptable. As it stands right now, however, it looks like this will be a large bill in addition to our large electric bill, rather than a replacement for it.
