They went chapter7 bankrupt and screwed all their customers

I went with vision solar in 2019. Now in 2025 the roof that they had installed and were giving a 30 year warranty on is being replaced. Their contractor didn’t install the roof correctly and now has cost me over $11000 in repairs. I have no one to turn to to recover the money that I should’ve never had to pay out. And only a few days ago did I even discover they went out of business. Sun Power who they sold panels for has also gone out of business and its assets have been sold off. I have an array on my roof that has almost no support and none of the warranties that they supposedly were giving me. Now NJ wants to decrease the value of SRECS to almost nothing. This has been one of the worst experiences. I would recommend that no one get a roof mounted array and strongly advise against solar. The minimum gain is far from worth the stress and expenses.
