Verde Solar Power gets a AAAAA+ rating for going above and beyond in helping me; a retired senior with my portable solar system hookup. I purchased two portable generators and solar panels, but had problems with hooking it up. After going to another Solar company in town for help, I was quickly dismissed and told they couldn’t assist. I inquired at Verde Solar Power and they scheduled an appointment for me to come in and meet with Caleb, Matt and Ryan. The three of them studied my systems and quickly determined that I was missing two cable connections. Caleb was able to configure and make adjustments to one cable but the other one was proprietary and could only be obtained from the manufacturer. Fortunately, with Caleb’s ingenuity and handy work he was able to make one system ready to use and the other one ready to use upon replacement of the missing proprietary cable! Verde Solar Power helped me out of the goodness of their hearts with no charge! They are a company who truly values their community and neighbors. Kudos to Dean and his crew Caleb, Matt, Ryan and Tracey for their helpfulness and kindness!

Straight talk, no jive, no hard sell, no hidden details. Best price (on best quality components) among half a dozen that I talked to. I was able to pay cash avoiding the extra cost and hassle of a loan or lease. Good workmanship, showed up when they said they would. System has worked well and I haven't paid APS a dime since it was installed end of September. These guys are a fine local company, I have only good things to say about them.

My 8kw system works great. On a sunny day in spiring time I get over 60 kw/hrs a day. Many months I pay the APS minimum monthly charge plus build up my bank for hotter months. If you have not already get a solar system buy one.

I got quotes for solar install from 4 different companies, 2 of them the biggies in the industry, one out of N Phoenix area and Verde Solar Power. I went with Verde Solar Power because they use US made panels, their pricing was very attractive (I purchased the system), their install timeframe was reasonable and they were local. I was impressed with the installation crew. Those guys were professional, courteous, diligent, and safety conscious. At various times each one of them answered my many questions about solar technology and the install process.

After reviewing other Solar people Greg seemed to know more about the system and the pricing was fair and by all means 5 Stars on the warranty! I called for a check-up after 9 years Greg came out and some of the parts were covered under the warranty .. just some boots nothing major but he went the extra mile to get with the supplier and had it covered parts and labor! When we first spoke I thought I should really check this solar thing out. They use the best equipment for the money, and they beat all the others when it came to pricing.

We are very pleased with the entire Verde Solar Power process and the finished results! Our installation crew, Greg, Butch, and Andrew did a professional job of installing the components. The only downside was the wait for APS to approve everything and authorize the operation, but thanks to Greg we knew beforehand that this would happen. Because we have an all-electric home, we have always had the most cost-effective plan offered by APS, however, since the installation we've now gone through three billing periods and we've seen a dramatic drop in our monthly bill. At this rate, it won't be long before the energy savings repays the cost of the components and labor. I wish we'd done this years ago.

Verde Solar Power are true "local" solar experts for the Verde Valley and Prescott. It was a pleasure dealing with Greg and his staff. They designed and crafted the best installation for our Sedona home. I did look at other regional and national companies, but they could not match the expertise, price, and service history of Verde Solar Power. I can't say enough how Greg successfully worked through all the electric utility paperwork and delays. Buy local and get the best equipment and service -- highly recommended for your solar installation.

Greg at Verde Solar Power is a perfectionist. He's honest and reliable. He and his installers were timely, did what they said they would do within the time frame given, worked hard, and were neat and clean. They grounded every panel and wired them into the main panel. They did a good job installing the second meter, and dogeared the corner on the steel support so nobody would get hurt. I'm a civil engineer by trade, and you couldn't ask for anything more than that. I wish we had more people like him.

I got prices from 4 companies. Verde Solar not only spent more time discussing my project to make sure they understood my goals, they had by far the lowest cost per watt.

The only reason I didn't give Verde Solar Power an excellent rating is because seven months after signing up with them, I have not received my sign-up bonus. Other than that, Greg Collins and his staff and crew were first rate in every way. Greg's easy-going manner made working with him and his crew a pleasure. Everything but the bonus happened on time and communications was excellent. I definitely recommend them.

After the first snafu with APS putting in the wrong meter which charged us for the electricity our solar panels were generating, all seems to be well. I'm now upset with APS saying that our rates will go up because they are losing revenue from customers trying to save electricity!

Sales Staff Very Good Installation Team Slow but work was very good

They come out and take care of everything, you don't even need to call them. If there's a change in the circuitry, they automatically come out and do it. You don't have to wait until something goes wrong, everything is set up on auto pilot. I think they're very responsible.

They were all very professional, they installed everything in 2 days complete. They asked if I wanted to go up on the roof and see. I did and they showed and explained to me everything they did and how they protected our roof from any damage from the installation. It was turned on in the winter time and our first APS bill was for $8.90. Our regular bill was $166.00 and we are elated. Checking Zilla adding the system to our home has double the value of the cost we paid to the value added to our home. We had other bids and they would check back and ask how much we paid and then would say when you don't get it for that call us. But we did get it for that. Thank you Verde Solar.

Verde Solar Power did an excellent job for me. I don't remember the actual size of the solar array they designed and installed for my home, but i can tell you this. Over the course of nearly two years prior to installation my electric bills ranged from about $300 per month to as high as $615 per month. Since the installation was put in service my monthly bills have ranged from $0 to $12. Yes, those are not typos ... that is the actual range of my monthly electric bills received from APS. I cannot say enough about Verde Solar Power. They are very very good at what they do. Their design was nearly perfectly sized for my home, they did everything in a very timely manner, and the physical installation was very professional. I did almost nothing (except to pay the bill, of course). They took care of everything including permits, etc. I did have to do some things with the electric utility (APS), but Verde Solar Power instructed me on exactly what I had to do and how to do it. I would not hesitate a single moment to use them again! The only negative in the entire process was the cost; however, the cost is what it is because the solar panels are expensive, to put it simply. As new scientific breakthroughs on the manufacture of solar panels occur in the future the cost will come down.

They installed solar paneling for me. The contact person, Greg, was very knowledgeable. I have to credit him with potentially saving me money. When he made the initial visit to inspect the house, he was the one that noticed there was hail damage on the roof. He mentioned that if the roof life was greater than 10 years at time of install, that when it came time to do the roof repairs his company would pay the cost to have it replaced. If was under 10 years, it would be my cost. As a result of his observation, I called my insurance company and got them to pay for the roof. I would have had no reason to know that if Greg hadn't said anything. When the county inspection came out, there were a few small fixes needed to be done. I told Greg, and he got the issues remedied right away. He was very knowledgeable, and explained to me how everything worked.

I became aware of Verde Solar Power through a Sierra Club article. Sierra supports them as a vendor of solar energy. I made an inquiry and was expecting to find that the cost of the installation would be prohibitive. I was quite surprised to find that I could get the installation with zero out of pocket based on the programs they offered and other rebates. I was thrilled at the prospect. I basically paid nothing out of pocket. I will be paying my 20 year lease the same as what I would have paid an electric bill. It turns out that I will start saving money in 2-3 years when compared to what my power bill would have been with utilities. The sales guy from Verde Solar Power was prompt and thorough. I was worried about my roof and whether I should replace it before the installation. The sales office provided me with a written opt-out clause if we got down the road and my roofing questions hadn't been answered. Brian, the project manager at Verde Solar Power, was attentive. The frequent contact was good. The information was also good. He was prompt to reply to my questions. I had some problems getting roofers out to look at the house and he provided me with some responsive references. It was all very painless.

Like most people, I was new to the idea of solar and all the information. Greg made it easy to understand. He spent time working out a plan. He saved us money when he could have earned more for himself. We're still saving money because of his wisdom.

Verde Solar Power were responsible for choreographing a whole project that involved putting in solar panels and hooking everything up. They were fast, they got in and got out, and knew what they were doing.

The last energy bill we received post-solar installation was only 6 dollars, when in May it would normally be about 150. We have a lot of electrical appliances and a hot tub that is always on. We have two air conditioning systems and consume a lot of energy so this has been a huge energy saver. In August and July our bills are normally 400 dollars so these solar panels are going give us huge savings! Verde Solar Panel did an excellent job selling and installing the panels. We were one of the first customers in the area and they are definitely the contractor of choice. They know exactly how to install their type of systems and they came out perfectly.

Verde Solar Power put on 24 solar panels on my room behind the carport and on a patio cover. They did an excellent job. If anything goes wrong or if I think it is wrong, they come by the next day to make sure it is right. They upgraded the equipment automatically and I didn't have to do a thing. I've already recommended them to my neighbors. I'd give them 10 out of 5 if I could. It's certainly well worth investing in the solar panels. I am not going to pay a power bill for the next two or three years I have such a credit. I plan to have extra panels put on so I can switch over my gas oven to electric. I plan to be a customer for many years. If anybody wants to come and look, I'd be willing to show them my panels and the bill!

Verde Solar Power took care of everything for me, they followed up, and they made sure to hook us up to the internet and make sure it was working. Anytime I needed them, they were available. The project only took a few weeks, a few months if you count going through the county to get county approval but it was a quick process once that was approved!

Verde Solar Power installed the panels well, and we haven't had any problems since. We have noticed a huge decrease in our energy bill and they are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing. 5 stars!

Verde Solar Power did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I had checked with some other people to find they all seemed to have problems with what I was asking and didn't know if they could do this or that. Greg said they could do it all and walked me through how we would. He knows his business very well. It was all pleasant overall, and a job well done.

I originally went to Verde Solar Power for them to put solar panels to be put on my house. I checked a few other places around town and they seemed like the best one out of everyone to put the system on as well as the most reasonable cost-wise. Greg was very helpful and knowledgeable about the solar industry. From start to finish, it was a pretty much a great situation. We never had problems and he took care of everything in a timely manner. The system works great and any problems that did come up, he took care of right away.

We had Verde Solar Power put 36 panels on our house. Greg did all of the engineering and worked out a couple different options to see what would work best, and what we really wanted. He was also able to work around the codes and strict appearance rules for where we live! They showed up when they said they would, making sure we never had to call them here. We've had the system for a little over a year now and are down to bills of only about $100 for all of our energy. This is compared to previously paying about $600 a month for propane, with $100 a month electric on top of that.

Verde Solar Power installed twenty-four panels and it turned out well. Their customer service is pretty good. They were very straightforward and thorough.

I have nothing but good things to say about Verde Solar Power. They had excellent service, were right on schedule, and gave us an excellent system. It is now generating more electricity than we use. I'm very happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

I am very impressed with Verde Solar Power. I compared their prices to a lot of other companies and they were definitely the best. They installed a 6 kilowatt electrical panel on my roof. I like that they are a small company and how they take a lot of time with you to explain everything that they will be doing. I saw they up on the roof everyday and was very impressed with the dedication of the technician. He really put in a lot of time to ensure everything was to my liking.

Verde Solar Power installed solar panels on my house three months ago. Since then, I haven't had to pay for any electricity -- just the taxes and fees to run it through the house. The company performed the installation on time, quickly and professionally. I don't see how they could improve!

Overall I have had a wonderful experience dealing with Verde Solar Power. I had them install my system back in the end of October, and although its a long lease through Sungevity, I am still happy with my investment and will continue to figure out the logistics of it going forward. Everyone I worked with during the installation was great, very friendly and did their absolute best to ensure that my customer satisfaction level was met. Going forward, I of course will continue to use their service and I do recommend them to others in the area who are considering making the move to solar power. It's an investment but it's well worth it, and Verde Solar Power does a great job of re-assuring you on that.

Verde Solar Power was excellent! They showed up when they said they would, worked diligently, and knew what they were doing. Qualified and experienced. Very happy with the installation they did on the roof.

Verde Solar Power installed solar panels for us five years ago, and it's been super. It's been really good. I had some problems to begin with, because the inverter wasn't picking up. But Greg and I worked out a deal, and he got it working. Everything's fully automatic. You don't have to do anything, that's what I really like about it. When you go away, you don't have to do anything and you're making money the whole time you're away. The solar panel takes the excess energy and sells it back to the company. I was just away for a month, so I'm way ahead - 1,258 kilowatts ahead. I encourage everyone I speak with to go with solar panels. I can't really speak to what you might receive going with Verde Solar Power now, because they might have different programs. I got a letter from APS saying I was grandfathered in with the original rate, and I think APS is trying to get an uneven exchange.

I thought Verde Solar Power was excellent. Everything was always on the ball. Whatever time they said they would be here, they were here. Everything worked out very well with them and with the other parties they were working with. I was pleased with the way they handled everything. They're an excellent choice to have do your solar panel installation.

From very beginning Greg, the owner of Verde Solar Power, has been personally involved. He has been very through, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and considerate. The people working under him have been outstanding. In every way they have surpassed my very high expectations. They did the installation of solar panels and all that comes with that. So not only the installation of solar panels themselves, but all of the electrical work and computer connections that are necessary as well. It was a full five days of work and they have come back since then for some additional work.

I had no problems at all with any of the people who came to do the work. They did everything, really! I was out of the house a lot of the time, and they did their job the way they were supposed to do it.

I think Verde Solar Power was very professional. They did everything they could to get things done in a timely fashion and get everything approved in a timely fashion as well. There were more problems from APS and the city. The city actually gave us the most problems. It was a new guy exercising his power as far as approving things. But they put the panels onto the roof over my garage properly and explained everything--what they were doing and why they had to make sure it was done that way rather than just screwed through the roof like one of my neighbor's panels, which flew right off. They seemed very competent and professional and were very friendly. The owner is really a nice guy. I called him once because I had a question about a year after the installation. He actually dropped by the next day and checked things out. He ended up altering something. There wasn't anything broken; it was just electrical. Something was set differently than he wanted it to be. I've got nothing but praise for them. It's expensive, but the credits help. I have no experience with pricing solar, so I just don't know how competitive their rates are. When you're in my age group, you don't do it for yourself. You do it for the value of your house and for the future.

Verde Solar Power was very punctual. They were proficient at explaining how they were different from other companies and what exactly they do. We had a list of about 30-40 questions which they were able to answer completely. The response time was super fast. We appreciated how simple they made the entire process and how quickly they returned telephone calls. The installation was fast and efficient. They ran into a few bumps along the way but were able to solve the issue without any drama. So far, with a month in, our bill has gone down. We hope it continues to stay down.

Verde Solar Power installed a five kwatt, roof top solar system that is connected to a grid. The installation process was smooth and seamless. My electric bill were about $140 a month and now they are about $25 a month. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Verde Solar Power were fantastic. Since it's a small town, they took the time to really go around, answer questions, and work with you. We had a bunch of financing issues with our lender being a government lender and all, and they were so accommodating. They really help to get the ball rolling. They installed solar towers and an inverter for us. I had other questions about special types of inverters, so we ended up getting one that's a bit different from the standard where each panel charges independently of each other. I've asked three to four other solar companies about this, and no else had told me about these options.

I went with Verde Solar Power because they are recommended by the Sierra Club. I think very highly of the Sierra Club and knew that their recommendations would be trustworthy. It is also important to me to reduce my carbon footprint which this will help with. The installation went smoothly. They were very considerate of me and of my home. All of the people there are very nice. My electrical bill is also substantially cheaper as a result. I highly recommend them.

I was satisfied with just about everything with Verde Solar Power. The only thing is that I wish they had mentioned the system would make a clicking sound when it's operating. We put a component in the garage that shares a wall with the bedroom, and I can hear it through the wall. If I had known it would make the sound, we would have put the component outside. Otherwise they were very thorough, and they explained the whole tax credit process and going through the system. They pretty much did everything we expected!

This was the first time I used Verde Solar Power. We had been thinking about making a switch to solar energy for a long time. We have an engineer down the street that actually ramrodded the whole project, and convinced us to finally do it. They installed a new solar power system for us. The project went fine. Verde Solar Power installed solar panels in my house. I just received my first electric bill and it was $5.95 and my house 5000 sq ft! If I had another project, I would definitely use them again! We had a problem with the paperwork which delayed the installation, but they compensated me for that. I think the crew was conscientious and went above and beyond; the job was well done!
