I highly recommend working with TerraSol for your solar panels. We decided over the summer we wanted to try to get our solar panels installed before the federal tax credits expired. TerraSol was easy to work with from start to finish. Brett came out to meet with us and explain every step along the way. He was very straight forward and there were no surprises. I did not feel like he was trying to upsell us on anything and he just felt honest. Everyone was rushing to get their solar panels installed before the end of the year and we were first told it would be December but because TerraSol wanted to help more customers, they hired more people can got us installed a month earlier than we expected. The installation was simple and everyone was very nice. It was incredibly windy the first day of install, so the workers had to stop for safety (for themselves and as not to damage the solar panels). They were very communicative and told us they would come back in the next week but weren't sure of exactly when but then they finished the very next day. Brett contacted us after install to make sure we were happy and also met with us again to make sure we understood everything. TerraSol also did all the paperwork for permits and approvals making it very easy on our part.

Our experience was so easy working with TerraSol from start to finish. They provided plenty of information prior to our decision to use them without any pressure to commit. The installation process was seamless and they've continued to be very responsive and a great service provider after we got our system up and running. Highly recommend them.

Our entire experience with Rob and all the folks at TerreSol Energies was wonderful! We built a new home and Rob's advice and design of our system was thoughtful and thorough. It was head and shoulders above the other outfits we spoke with. The crew who executed the installation was efficient, personable and kind. They were careful to protect our home throughout the process and completed their work in less time than they quoted. The office personnel was thorough in making sure all of our documentation was in order for getting our system registered with our utility company, and for our eligibility for federal tax and state grant purposes. They handled everything! From beginning to end, TerreSol exceeded our expectations and we give them our highest recommendation.

We had initially contracted with another company in January 2023 to install a solar panel system on our house. As of August 2024, it was still not done. On the recommendation of a friend, we contacted TerraSol Energies. In two months, they had assessed the work that had been done, revived the expired permit, ordered parts and finished the installation. When a power surge damaged some parts, they sent someone out promptly to evaluate and fix the problem. All of our dealings with the people of this company have been pleasant and professional. We highly recommend this company.

When we decided to evaluate solar power for our home, we did a lot of research before selecting Terra Sol. Their price was fair and in line with other firms that we evaluated. A major difference was their personal involvement. From the start, the team there has been professional, competent, and effective. Rob thoroughly explained the proposal, provided a model for me to evaluate, and answered all my questions. Carl handled all the engineering aspects, including effectively resolving a challenging issue we had with the electric company’s approval process. The installation team completed the job swiftly and with high quality. Throughout the process, Rasha kept us informed on the process, status, and upcoming events so there was never a doubt about where things stood. All the team members that we met with or communicated with have been very friendly and knowledgeable. They were patient when we had an HOA issue and gave us great advice on how to resolve it. Rob and Rasha, in particular, have communicated so well at every stage, explaining what is happening and why. Now that the panels are installed, we haven’t been left to our own devices. They have diligently followed up with us to ensure that everything is working to plan, which it is, by the way. Their prices are also very competitive.

The solar industry is the wild west; I learned that by getting a little crazy during my search. I spoke to over two dozen solar salesmen, and of that group, only a handful were honest, competent, AND price competitive for high-quality panels. TerraSol stands out in all three categories. Every employee who interacted with me, from the administrator and installers to the VP, was patient with my questions and straightforward in their approach. We had a terrific experience with TerraSol. We wanted a relatively small solar panel installation to partially offset our electric costs and wanted to coordinate the installation with a larger renovation. I was really impressed by the personal attention to our small project. Rob met with us at our home. We never got any pressure to purchase a larger system. He provided a quote that was competitive with larger companies and much lower than another local installer. The TerraSol team worked seamlessly with our contractor to minimize the appearance of exterior wiring and installed the system in one day. TerraSol handled all the interactions with PECO and our township for inspections etc. System has been working flawlessly for several months now. The team was very responsive to all our questions and timely in their correspondence. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

From start to finish very professional and forthright about the entire process. The proposal was well written up and very informative. There was no sales pressure at all. Once we committed to the project TerraSol took care of everything. We had to fill out a couple of forms and not much else. Project timeline was excellent with the time from our initial inquiry to permission to operate being 14 weeks. Installation was done with minimal disruption to our home and no debris left behind. Communication has been excellent start to finish. Also, importantly we have had questions after permission to operate and payment in full. Questions were answered promptly, so you can expect service after the sale. We recommend this business highly.

TerraSol recently completed installation of a 14KWh system with battery backup in our primary residence. Quality of installation and the overall level of service of this company is stellar. We had a ground based solar array installed by TerraSol. They were friendly, great about answering questions, and very knowledgeable about the whole process. They provided realistic estimates of what to expect, assistance at every step including zoning clearance, coordination with the power company, selection of the best location and trouble-free installation. There was one underestimated hurdle for which they took full responsibility with no upcharge. It was a pleasure to work with their pleasant and competent staff.

After contacting nearly a dozen installers, it became pretty obvious that TerraSol was the right company for the job. Rob and Rasha answered all of my questions and concerns throughout the entire process, which couldn't have gone any smoother. I really didn't have to do much of anything, with TerraSol handling everything from their end. From contract signing to PTO, it took under two and a half months to complete. To top it off, they had incredibly competitive pricing on REC Alpha Pure panels, which is what I wanted. The crew that installed the panels was terrific, as well. All of their work looks incredibly clean, which I very much appreciate. I would absolutely recommend TerraSol to anyone looking to go solar.

We give TerraSol Energies (TSE Solar) of Chadds Ford, PA our highest recommendation as a provider and installer of solar panels. They installed a 10.125 KW solar panel system (25 REC Group panels), with Enphase microinverters, on our roof in September 2023. The system is working perfectly and the Enphase app lets us track, in real time, the production from each of the panels and the total energy (from the panels and our electricity supplier) consumed by us. After determining the size of the system we wanted and the companies whose solar panels were acceptable to us, we started our search for a supplier/installer on EnergySage.com. We got good quotes from a few suppliers. Accidentally, we also found TSE Solar, who are not on EnergySage. They are based in Chadds Ford, PA, just 15 miles from our home in Wilmington, DE, and are a family run company (father, son and about 10 full time employees). We requested a quote from them and got a competitive quote. Then Robert, the son, came to our place and explained the process and the proposal. There was no hard sell and no gimmicks. We thought about the various offers for a few days and decided to go with TSE Solar, since their quote was competitive, their offices were just 15 miles from us, and we had had good interactions with them. We received outstanding service from everyone at TSE Solar - from the person who generated the proposal, from Robert who came to our house to discuss the proposal, from the person handling the scheduling/logistics of our project, and the installers. The panels were installed in 1 day, on the scheduled installation date. The scheduling/logistics person handled all the permits and the approvals, including preparing and submitting our application for a rebate from Delmarva Power. Finally, the TSE Solar proposal had mentioned we would get a $8,000 rebate from Delmarva Power. However, Delmarva’s rebate policy changed, and the rebate now was only $6,000. Robert, of TSE Solar, informed us of this change and said that he would pay us the $2,000 difference. We had not asked for it, he did not have to pay us, but he paid us. Thank you.

This family operated company is fantastic! I’ve known Dave since the early 1970’s and I’m so glad we selected TerraSol Energies for our project. A key requirement for our home was a system that could integrate with our existing whole house generator and offer a path to eventually eliminate the generator. I worked primarily with Rasha, Rob, Carl, Matt, and Dave but everyone we worked with from the first contact to the TSE installers to the electricians and horizontal boring company staff (we needed to upgrade our PECO service conductors and wanted the new service moved underground) was professional, friendly, and highly effective. We selected an Enphase system for the micro-inverters, IQ Controller 2 smart switch, and Encharge storage system. The storage system is currently sized (10kWh) to provide whole house backup for short outages and the generator is started to supplement the storage and solar panel output if needed. I wanted to be very involved with the design of the system and the TerraSol team welcomed and encouraged this collaborative approach. As most of TSE’s other customers have experienced, there was never any pressure and the communications was top-rate. I highly recommend solar and TerraSol Energies is a great company to work with!

I've read most of their 5 star reviews and all the reviews are true. In this time we live in it's hard to believe there are still company's that still have the costumer as there first priority. They answer all your questions with not even a hint of hard sell. There entire staff was helpful through the entire process, and this is coming from A 79 year old male that is very pic-key about my home and cars. System has been installed since Feb 2023 (21.75KW) Sales Process- Rob was both knowledgeable and easy to communicate with from the start until today. Planned for future EV in the design. Value- competitively priced Office Staff- very good communication with Rasha all along the way. She is on top of her game! Handled the permitting, inspections, interconnection app, SREC app. Seemless! Timing- They delivered on time, even with supply chain issues Field install- Install took two days. Guys were efficient, answered any questions, cleaned up and they were gone. Great experience. Interconnection with PECO- no issues, Terrasol handled it Sunpower App- Easy and fun to use and see power being produced, by the hour, day, week, month, year etc.
