Latest good review thumbs up

Our experience has been very positive. Our salesman Sam was with us every step of the way. The roofer, the panel installers and the electricians were professional and on time. They answered all my questions and told me what to expect. The office manager Josh kept us undated and followed the paperwork through the system. This was a timely venture but well worthwhile. I feel like I’m doing my part to help the environment.

Unacceptable

we paid $44,000 for them to install solar panels. It took them nine months to get them operational. Then a micro inverter went out. We got a replacement and they stole it and left us hanging. The service contract to clean the solar panels every six months and all repairs now fall to us and comes out of our pocket after we paid them a service contract fee.

Lies, scam, I don't know what to call it

So, suntuity solar install my solar panel back in November 2023 , it's March 2024 and my panels still not on, the company phone number is disconnected I can't communicate with anyone, the sales representative name Christopher palone block my number only a month after the installation of my panels, I was told that sunnova will provide service plus they will provide warranty and maintenance to my panels, well I called sunnova and they told me that there's not account or contract with my panels or suntuity didn't make any agreement with them so right now I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, looking for legal representation

Stephen Basso | Altamonte Springs, FL | 03/18/2024

Liars and con men

I am suing them now due to all the lies and failure to perform on their contract with me. No Duke energy bill is still in the 200 plus range monthly. I now have to pay their business partner sunnova 250 monthly going up every year for 25 years. I never received my 5500.00 promotion money to buy solar ev car chargers. They lied about everything we discussed to get me to go solar. Now it's sue everybody time. They belong in prison

Lack of progress

In April/23 I signed up with Suntuity. The pannels were installed June/23. As of January/24 the pannels are not running or in-service. I can not get anyone to answer the phone at Suntuity, or contact me. I'm paying for the install with a loan, with a guarantee the pannels would offset my electric bill. The electric company tried working with Suntuity and they would not cooperate with them. During this process I have had to call and call Suntuity just to get to the next step. They very seldom would call me if send any updates. Now I'm stuck paying for the pannels, install, and interest on something I am getting zero return of investment

We had a great experience with Suntuity

From the beginning, the sales team stayed involved and were quick to answer any concerns my wife and I had. Matt Davis and Steven Menakis took the time to make sure we understood the whole process and every question was answered to our satisfaction. The whole transaction cost me nothing out of pocket and everything happened just as it was explained to us. The installation crew were quick and efficient and they were very friendly and courteous. Customer experience agent Joshua Nguyen continued to keep us informed and up-to-date on everything that was happening and what was going to happen next. He was on top of everything along the way, guiding us through the many steps that needed to take place for a successful customer experience. We are very happy with Suntuity and all the players who were a part of making this all happen in such a positive way.

Rolocalls

Similar to other reviews I have received continuous calls from this vendor. I have blocked as many as I can and accepted one call to tell them to stop calling but they hung up on me. I have now notified do not call.gov and reported them for harassment.

solar system

Having had this service up and running since July of 23, I have yet to see a major improvement on my total AC Electric bill. The system was said to be 100% offset and capable of supplying a very good portion of my power usage. I understand that weather has a lot to do with the system production and 100% can't always be obtained. Even during the full sunny days during the summer, and into evening I still had to import up to 80% of my power from the grid. That 20% was about all I was able to produce. The cost and the benefits proclaimed by the ads & the sales people also saying how good using solar can be turned out to be not all it was cracked up to be. So, The cost of the solar lease and the electric bill can sometimes add up to a number very close to the original electric bill before the system install or even surpass it. This company says they will do whatever possible to make their claims possible. They also monitor the system as well yet I have not heard a peep from them since it went up. They well know how this system is operating. My confidence in them is dropping very quickly.

Zero help with incentives. false promises.

Very unprofessional I had to continuously contact them for basic services they promised. No one help us with applying for and setting up the incentives. My solar has been running since April 2023. All inspections passed and permission to operate. And we are now in December 2023 and no incentives and no help in site. We are still waiting for Mohsin Ilyas to help us complete the incentive process. I do not recommend this company stay far and clear.

Solar cells live!

Thanks for letting me know that the solar array is live and ready to go. Josh Nguyen was help in communicating this. I still need to get the Empower app to monitor the power flow.

Cynthia Winston | Beaver, PA | 12/05/2023

BEWARE!!!

I was given so much misinformation (scammed) when agreeing to have the solar panels installed. I was told that I would be getting $13,000.00 from the Federal government regarding solar energy and that could be applied toward the loan within the 18 month period to keep my loan at the same price instead of increasing by almost $100 per month. I wasn't told that this only a tax credit. I am on disability and I received only social security. I don't receive enough social security to even file a tax return. I was also told I would receive $4,000.00 from PA state for using solar energy and could also be applied to the loan. I was told I would get both monies within the 18 month period to keep my loan at it's current price. LIES - Being a tax credit my income would have to be very high to be able to get the entire $13,000.00 at one tax year. I discussed that my income is very limited which lead right into the benefits of going solar. We ended our meeting with a handshake. I fell victim to this scam. I am not sure if it was the sales person who intentially mislead me or if he was given incorrect information, either way my life (financially and emotionally) has been shattered.

Jeremy | Pittsburgh, PA | 11/27/2023

Failure to complete the work

Do not use Suntuity. It took them months to finish the solar install, months longer than they said and no reason given as to why. They were to come back out to finish the hole they drilled in my basement wall, even their manager at the time said they would. They have ignored at least 4 appointments, with no email or call as to why they couldnt make it. Just left me waiting, they are very shady company and refuse to finish the job.

Jason Bastian | Waynesboro, PA | 11/18/2023

Spotty service

I think customer service is more than a few emails. The customer should have more in person or phone calls to make sure things go smoothly. There is too much money involved to have sub par customer relations. Not to mention it is difficult to get a prompt reply when needed.

Tinh Tupy | Norwalk, CT | 11/05/2023

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company is fraudulent to the core! They will lie and pressure you in to signing then forget about you entirely! They get money from the financing partner and never complete your project. It has been well over a year and we are stuck paying for our Solar that produces NOTHING!!! Find a legitimate sole provider, Suntuity is not one!

Doug heath | Fort Myers, FL | 11/01/2023

Solar panels

The worst experience I have ever experienced! Still paying 200 dollars a month for Fpl and 153 a month to lease the panels! Iam paying more now than I ever payed without the panels. To make things worse the company who we lease them from is a whole other nightmare! Never experienced such poor customer service threw a leasing company.cannot get anyone to come out to look at the panels unless you come out of pocket 250 dollars. Don’t understand why they would lie to the customers and say when you go solar you save!! Not true!!! Stay away from Suntuity solar and sun nova finance!!!

Sign on bonus

It's crazy I signed on April and a referral and still haven't received anything sunity solar is terrible I called about 40 times and they give me different answers everytime I want my money it's been since April and no check yet they just told me they have no date go with a better solar company. Also they don't help for nothing they take your money and run and make you wait for your money

bonus | Woodbine, NJ | 10/09/2023

we were promised a 3000.00 bonus for an incentive to signing this deal. This was a major factor in us signing. The process went very well in the beginning. Our sales rep,Tinh, was on top of everything pretty much and stayed in contact with us until we started asking about our bonus. We have called and emailed Suntuity numerous times about this .We have been told now at least for 3 months,2 weeks,2 weeks.two weeks.Sounds like all the reps are programmed to tell everybody 2 weeks. It appears now,we cant get any answers from any body, even our sales rep. On top of that,we are paying more now for electric then we ever did before. We are on a fixed income and this isnt setting with us to well as you can imagine

WARNING DO NOT USE SUNTUITY

Suntuity will demand a 10% deposit up front with only a three day window to cancel for a full refund. This will be followed with a time frame of when things will be done. I was told 43 days. It is now going on six months with nothing having been accomplished on my system installation. Zero additions or modifications have been done on my house or its electrical system. They are horrible at keeping you updated and will ignore the majority of your attempts for a status. When I stated my lack of confidence and requested my deposit returned, I was not only refused it but told I owe 37% in fees in order to cancel the contract. Reserve caution if you ever work with any of these Suntuity representatives, Dana, Kristy Lynn, Robyn, Joseph. AVOID SUNTUITY AT ALL COSTS. Read other reviews. Some individuals have been fined by their townships $2,000 p/w due to bad installations by Suntuity.

Horrible company

I’ve had my solar installed approximately 6 months ago and have had to have it serviced twice so far. First time repair service was scheduled 3 weeks from when I called. Waited all day and no call, no show. I called the following day and was told they overbooked and could fit me on the schedule 3 weeks later. They did eventually show up 6 weeks after the initial request. System broke down again and I placed another call for service and the exact same thing happened. No show, no call. They want me to wait for another 3 weeks. I’ve never dealt with a company that thinks so little of their customers. Not acceptable.

Over a year-no hook up, Only 1 phone to call Eyesore >25 appts

Our complaints with Suntuity are regarding a solar installation (with battery backup) that started in September of 2022. We still do not have a working hooked up system as of Sept 16 2023. We have been shuffled from one sales person to another, have had over 20 dates when technicians were here to install and fix our installation. The township inspectors have been here 4 times and failed us. I missed multiple days of work due to electricity being off. On one of the failures we received a "Notice of violation and order to terminate" from Mt Laurel township stating that we were in violation of Electrical subcode which threatened us with $2000 weekly penalties and a threat to revoke our "Certificate of occupancy" to be revoked if not repaired in 15 days. Our initial contracts were changed multiple times when we were ready to sign, claiming that either the parts were no longer available or that the interest rate had risen (starting at 15 year 1.49%) and the price of the system rose each time. The system that we ended up with is smaller than the original one quoted and costs more money. The installers that come are always different people and have said many times "I don't understand why they did this or that". I believe that the installer who did the majority of our electrical work (named Isaac has been let go). Our installation is a total eyesore with none of the boxes lined up and with cables everywhere. I have at least 60 emails of communication and contracts that I hope to attach to this correspondence but can send separately if we are told where to upload or email. We have pictures of our installation and of the shoddy work and of some minor damage that was done. I would say that at least 5 additional appointments were missed by Suntuity with no notice, Not mentioning the numerous times that they showed up extremely late or early. We made a down payment of over $4000 to suntuity solar in February 2023 to get the monthly payments close to the initial numbers that we were quoted. We have been making payments of $237.48 since july to their Credit union(their financing company) and also paying our electric bills. We missed the spring and summer seasons where large amounts of energy would have been generated. Suntuity has one phone number that we've been calling into and then they try and route your call. No representatives have given us a direct number to call, although recently Caitlyne Bottomly(Customer Experience Team Lead) has given us her email and is usually fairly quick to respond. One of our early salespersons (Chayce Glassow) left the company (keeps in touch) due to frustration (partly about our treatment) and has been helpful in contacting people at suntuity. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating, financially challenging and we have an eyesore on the side of our house. Pictures- there are 4 inside pictures. they show a broken outlet cover, damaged sheet rock and most importantly the writing on the new fuse box is illegible. Also shown is the new (on left) and old (on right) fuse box. Link to inside pictures https://photos.app.goo.gl/k15HMiXcNgJ6C4oh7 Here are some pictures of the outside This is the sloppiest looking installation that I've ever seen. There are cables all over the place, clamps of various sizes, with some already falling off and others sure to fall off soon There is a large hole which animals will use to get in my house. There are twisted strained cables which will surely move and break as the weather changes. Ground wires are already moving from where they were installed. Half of this installation should probably be inside my house and hidden. here is the second link to the outside pics https://photos.app.goo.gl/TiVe4sisLoh8xRnE6

Unprofessional and Lack of Ethics

1. I was offered a system which generates 15,357 KWH annually with a guarantee that the system will produce at least 85% of the estimated production or I would be offered a refund or credit for the difference. 2. I signed the contract with SUNTUITY which is a contractor for SUNNOVA, on 06/25/2022, also as part of the agreement I was expected to take down 6 trees from my property as these were casting a shadow on the roof where the panels were supposed to be installed. 3. Since my property is adjacent to a protected conservation area, had to go through multiple hoops with the town authorities to seek permission to cut the trees, eventually the task of cutting the trees was completed in Q4’22. 4. I kept following up with Suntuity for the installation, however, never got a confirmed answer on dates. Eventually, when the dates were confirmed, the process dragged on for months along with pathetic scheduling. 5. Every person involved would state something and the outcome would be something else, e.g., the scheduler would call up and state that the work is only required on the exterior and no adult is required at home however, when the technician would arrive, he would state interior access is required. Between me and my wife we had to take nearly 4 days off in total due to these unplanned requirement(s) 6. Once the panel installation was completed, we were told that someone would come for inspection and then install the meter and then the town/ utility company representative will come and connect to the grid. It’s been more than 4 months; it has not happened. 7. In the interim I was given a revised contract where the production capacity was reduced from 15,357 KWH to 12,260 KWH for the same price. For which I was not given any logical explanation. The reasoning I was given was that underwriting stated they felt there was still some shadow from the trees, whereas I cut down the exact same trees that Suntuity asked me to take down at the first place. 8. When I refused to sign, they offered me a credit of $2500, which I was told would be paid out as soon as I sign the revised contract. I signed the revised contract on 07/31/2023 and today as of this note, its 09/09/2023, I’m yet to receive that payment. When I called to enquire after multiple follow-ups, I was informed it will only be paid out once the system is operational. 9. As of this date, I have not been provided any ETA on when the system will be operational however, Sunnova still went ahead with generating an Auto-Pay for my monthly dues of $210. When I called Sunnova’s customer care, I was simply asked to talk to Suntuity as it was their mess-up. I was told that Suntuity updated the records stating the work has been completed. 10. Its been more than 14 months, both Suntuity and Sunnova cannot get a system up and running, yet have the audacity to charge the customer for services they are unable to facilitate.

My overall experience has been very good. Josh Nyugen was the behind the scenes guy that took care of the process. Everything went smoothly as planned and was complete before I expected! The tire process from agreement to… it’s up and running new meter, producing as expected. The whole team was professional . They handled little glitches smoothly, kept me informed. Coordinated well with local electric company for completion. The team that took care of me here in Bastrop Texas…. A+!!!

Amrit | Sicklerville, NJ | 08/15/2023

Great Interaction thus far

I had the pleasure to work with Giamo Zepp and it has been a smooth process in the early stages of the solar, easy to work with, and found me a great package with the solar panels + added startup incentives. Professional individual and always looking to please the consumer's needs. Hope the entire process remains like the opening stages!!!

Paul Breitenstine | Berlin, NJ | 08/09/2023

Had a great experience with this company and working with Giamo Zepp. He helped make sure everything was taken care of and went smoothly. I highly recommend him and this company

Hectic | North Wales, PA | 07/28/2023

Very long process with unprofessional work.

FZ | Wethersfield, CT | 07/21/2023

Incompetence on every level

Run away from this company. They give you a 3 month timeline, and then can never keep their timeline. They charge for an incomplete project. Had workers come through my ceiling 3 times, they never fixed it. Had to do the work myself and will probably never get reimbursed. Would never show up on time or when scheduled. The panels have been sitting on my roof for almost 2 months, everything ready to go, no scheduled inspection. They have handed it off to someone else who will probably never show up, and now they are charging me for a solar project that isn’t producing, with no finishing date in sight. Trash company, horrible service.

Gary Medina | Levittown, PA | 07/15/2023

Bad experience

the company is Suntuity Solar, 1ro. The solar panels are SunNova. Just look for the Reviews and it's enough not to install. Then the manager calls you to give you other options. Do not accept and period. 2do.The seller guaranteed me that the panels generate 16.xxx or 17.xxx khw per year. According to the contract it is not true. 3ro. Apart from that I consider that the solar panels are very high in cost. The money that the state returns to you, if you do not pay it to the loan, the monthly payment goes up. In itself the cost to me 100k. 4to. I thought it was professional, but after reading the contract, which is not given to you until you sign. I can tell you that he is an expert to sell. 5to. Home insurance increases. 6to. You have only 7 days to cancel. No more. If it happens you must pay. 8th The other thing I found strange. He had my digital signature. I don't know if they have any rights with DocuSign. It seems to have everything ready. After reading and researching. According to my house I need approximately 14kw per month and price. $27k Lol

Dale Freitas | Burlington, NJ | 07/13/2023

Recent installation

So far I've been very pleased working with Suntuity, My sales Rep Frank O'Grady was the best when laying out our options and what to expect, he kept in contact with us and helped out quickly anytime we had question during the installation process. Their installers were on time and very clean expelling what they were doing and making very little impact on us during the installation, The wires for the panels were hidden through the attic and down into the garage to the outside boxes so you don't have tubes and wires all over the house like some companies. There crew have worked with the different inspectors and permitting people, Right now we are only waiting on the final PSEG connect permit which is in PSEG hand. So far very happy.

Joe | Branford, CT | 07/12/2023

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

If I could give negative stars I would. System was installed in February. Still waiting for a 'placard' that was ordered in Feb. Supposedly came in 2 weeks ago and told that I would be contacted within a week to schedule the final install, inspection and have my system up and running. So far-nothing and they refuse to give me the contact information for the company completing this so that I might call directly. Cust Service rep says it is a company called Luck Solar-no such company listed in CT. Would really like to get this project completed ASAP but not very hopeful

VB | Pittsburgh, PA | 07/10/2023

Worst mistake dealing with this company

Uncomplete Job going on 7 months and system still not activated

Very Happy

I am a customer of Suntuity Solar. I had a wonderful experience working with sales rep. Aaron Buckley. Everything went smoothly. He came to inspections and installation day and showed me how to monitor everything in the app. All my questions were answered. My solar panels are kicking and I am saving tons of money. It was definitely a great decision.

System installed December 2022, finally up and operating 6/30/2023. Very poor response during the whole process!!

Sue Harrison | Marlton, NJ | 06/30/2023

Sales

My Suntuity rep has been extremely patient through the process. Working with me along with my HOA and answering questions and also he has been very knowledgeable and answered any questions I have had. This man never stops working. Things that needed a solution, I got. I am very excited to start this process and start saving on my bills!

Professional

The Sales associate Giamo zepp was so professional and had so much Knowledge every requested I asked he knew the answer I recommend this company to anyone

Just Don't | Emmaus, PA | 06/22/2023

From start to finish this company let me down.

No communication from Suntuity after multiple requests to check in on my delayed install. So I went to my towns office and turns out the the permit was sitting there for 6 weeks...approved. Waiting to get picked up. Office hadn't heard from Suntuity for that entire time. So, I paid for it myself and then sent it overnight to them. THEN, It took 6 months from install to get my system turned on. I failed inspection twice and then basically had to "sell" the inspector to pass me the third time. Each time I failed inspection, it would take a week or more to get a few people in a white van with a crooked Suntuity magnet on the side out to fix the problem. Which was the same problems that failed again. Two weeks after I passed inspection, the inspector showed up at my door again a bit confused. Because the company scheduled another inspection. When I didn't hear anything back for weeks, I contacted my utility company who said they hadn't received the request to operate yet. The inspector told me he was waiting on information from Suntuity for him to turn in the cut card. I went back to the utilty to get the work order number. Which took me about 5 minutes on the phone. I gave that to the inspector and then he sent the info in. Finally, I got my approval from the utility company and signed it. Never heard from Suntuity. I had to call them to tell them I was approved. From start to finish this company let me down.

Ramon | Clifton, NJ | 06/20/2023

Better than expected experience

Started with exceptional service from our Sales Rep Bisma. Few delays but that was strictly with getting the permit - nothing anyone could do to resolve but trust the process. I was fortunate to be part of a promotion that reimbursed me three months of payment. (The check was received, deposited and cleared

Mike D | Pottstown, PA | 06/06/2023

promises not kept

Stay away, this place is horrible. I was told I would get $1000 rebate check and after the sale they claim they forgot it and I wouldn't get it. Unfortunately, I bought from someone who worked there that I thought was a friend and they turned out not to be. Don't bother calling cause nobody calls you back. Try the President and it seams he doesn't care either.

Furious Customer | Point Pleasant Beach, NJ | 05/30/2023

Don’t come here for Solar

I started this miserable journey in Sept 2022. Working with this company has been a nightmare. The communication has been terrible and very one sided. (I call them). I have so many complaints, I could write several paragraphs and will starting with the top management team tomorrow since no one in the office can help me. I called my sales rep who told me he has nothing to do with it now and hung up on me. Too many details to go into here but forewarned is forearmed. Note: Their overall rating is 3. That is mediocre at best.

Sam | Bethlehem, PA | 05/26/2023

The Follow Ups

The follow ups before and after installation have been exceptional. I specifically commend Adriana Arroyo for her focus and diligence in keeping me updated at every phase till completion.

Didnotgetfar | Toms River, NJ | 05/22/2023

Sad call

Can there be a negative rating given? Was told I would be connected to an engineer but instead was connected to a woman who didn't know the difference between a kWh and a crocodile. Was now asked for the fourth time the same questions. When I complained she said: " I don't know who you talked too." So obviously the first was a cold caller who then put me on "with the manager" who was the one who lied to me. But the Suntuity representative had no problem with the fact I had been lied too. And why did she not know who made the referral? When I asked why she didn't think it important that the referring entity was telling lies to potential customers she blew me off. Management needs to address this. Sad if the referring entity gets paid.

devendra mangru | Freehold, NJ | 05/19/2023

STAY AWAY!!!!

HORRIBLE Company. Stay Away!!! I have had nothing but problems and unacceptable responses from this company. I currently have 2 issues with them: The company claimed that I would be enrolled in the NJ SERC program that would pay me for my energy production. I have not received any payments and email from NJ's clean energy program that the application was invalid. The second issue is now that it is approaching the summer my panels are producing more, however 20 or my 36 panels stopped working due to a breaker that continues to trip. I was told a service manager would reach out me, but that has yet to occur. This company promised many things prior to the install, but has only delivered sub par installation and performance. I would not recommend this company!

VJ | South Brunswick, NJ | 05/15/2023

Worst experience of my life..

They've floated a company but nobody knows what to do. They don't know how to even file/request a permit. I took 3 months for them(suntuity) to fix the issue, infact i've done more work than them calling the township and following up and relaying the information to Suntity. On the inspection day Suntuity person come with some other file and he did not even know till the township Inspector has pointed it out. Avoid this Company. I'm giving one star because there is no option to give a Zero star.

Nick Caruso | Wall, NJ | 04/04/2023

Worst experience for Solar

Almost two years and we are still Not completed. Was told billing would not start till 3 month after completion or once interconnection was done. They have not past permitting with the township and have been pulling $ out of my account for the past 7 months. They were back yesterday to change a panel and can NOT Give ME THE COMPLETION DATE. Stay away from this company. Lies and running around passing the blame. Most terrible contractors I have had the pleasure in 35 years of construction. Will post up when or if it gets done.

This is my experience with Suntuity so far. In short very disappointed. 7 months still ticking! Location: Danbury CT We initiated the contract for going solar with Suntuity through Sunnova financing at the end of July 2022 and was promised the following 1. We would get Q-cells 400 Watt panels with Enphase IQ8 plus micro inverters and they had panels in stock. Both with 25yr manufacturers warranty. 2. 2 to 4 months( at most) from Site Survey to Install date. That way I can get my tax credit on 2023. However nothing went smoothly! August 1st week they did the first site survey and said the roof is good. Now I had my Sunnova account where I could see the panels and micro invertors used for my system. About 1 month or so later I came to know through various means that if I buy the system through cash it's 36% cheaper!. So I requested the same and Suntuity was totally fine with it as well. At some point I checked my system design online (as financing wasn't cancelled yet!) I saw a classic case of Bait and Switch !(1stpromise broken) My panels are not Tier 1 Qcells anymore! It was some no name Hyperion Solar!! Which comes with 12 yrs manufacturer warranty!. At this point I noticed that my cash purchase contract didn't have any panel name mentioned in it. Because I had all emails confirming what will be installed as my system, I quickly contacted the customer care, who redirected me to Quality control who helped to get the new contract with panel names on it (that is why the 2 star, else it would have been 1 star review). By now it was the end of Nov or so. Permits were all in place at the end of October or so. Within a week of corrected contract we paid the Milestone 2 payment. Now they say they don't have any installation dates available until the end of December!. 2nd promise broken, we are already at 5th month and crossing 2022, have to wait another year for tax credit!!. Finally Got a date on 6th month for Jan 9th. As this date wasn't convenient for me I asked them if they had another date at the end of the month. Instead of checking if it was even available or not they directly cancelled my appointment and started checking if another date was available! Didn't even notify me of cancellation. On the day of installation they say they had to cancel to check another date availability! Sigh. Luckily I got another date on Jan 26th. Installers didn't show up as they were backed out and came on Jan 27th. At this point I didn't really care for 1 more day. On the day of installation the installers now say that the roof is in no condition for installation as there are lots of storm and wind damage and it is true! How did the site survey guy miss it!! Site Survey, Bait and Switch ( was corrected since I caught it early on), delayed installation!! Whole 6 months wasted so far , out of $18k. Can't even back out, panels sitting in my driveway blocking my garage door! Still paying inflated electricity bills. Now I'm behind my insurance to get my roof fixed so that I can go solar. Promise of 4 months to installation long forgotten.7th month running already! Sigh..To top it off Eversource has increased prices since Jan and I can't even change suppliers according to Suntuity to lower my electric costs. Really disappointed. I was planning to give 1 star review, however, Tiffany from quality control got me the panels I was promised approved and on writing. Also the installers who arrived did a good job of verifying the roof before drilling holes in my roof rafters. Hence the 2 star review! Will update the review once I have Solar running and see the production! Hopefully next stages go smoothly once I get my roof fixed

Great at first but when something goes wrong....

I hired Suntuity and at first panels worked fine. I had some roof leaks which they repaired. Over a year ago (may be close to 2 years now) I have had an ongoing issue after we get rain. Water is getting in somewhere and the breaker trips shutting off half of my panels. I have to reset 1-2 breakers for my panels to work. > 1 year with no resolution. Unfortunately, Suntuity tells me I have to call Sunnova when there is a problem. Suntuity says they can only help if Sunnova contacts them. I am very frustrated and would not recommend. I have been waiting since November for a repair and found out they closed my case in January without fixing.

Terrible Business Experience

I provided services 4 months ago and still have not been paid. I call, email and text and they give me the run around if they respond at all. Not a good way to do business.

Suntuity was great! The installers worked swiftly and our rep Corey Bell made sure we knew every step that was taken. He even showed up the day of install! Thanks guys!

Solar installation

Very satisfied with our experience. Our solar rep Corey Bell was very knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. He and Suntuity as a whole made the whole installation process smooth.

Very poor experience

Once we signed a contract with Sunnova it took over 8 months to get our solar panels installed. It stayed incomplete for months. The team would arrive without the necessary parts to complete the installation. Then they would tell us that someone would contact us to schedule the next visit to continue the work but nobody ever did. We would call constantly and get nowhere. Getting a manager on the line to deal with our issues was impossible. We felt frustrated and unimportant throughout the whole process after committing to a large price tag on these units. At one point, we had a 6 foot trench dug out in our back yard throughout the whole summer which made it unsafe for my dog and we couldn't entertain family or friends at all during that time frame. It was very inconvenient. I would not recommend this company to install your solar panels.

Great Customer Experience

They did a great job communicating and installing our panels. Would highly recommend them - there were some bumps in the road, but the resolution and communication from the customer services team was excellent. Exceeded my expectations, cannot wait to refer my friends and family!
