Sunergy Systems

My experience with Sunergy was totally favorable. The staff were great. The solar panels were activated on the summer solstice. I have just reviewed the first six months performance of the system and the financial analysis from Sunergy appears to be quite accurate. With a 4.1 kw array, my wife and I now produce the majority of our electricity with solar energy. It feels so good to do something about greenhouse emissions ourselves.

I thought that Eric T`s explainations at the first meeting and the second meeting were great. It is not his fault that I am not up to speed in understanding everything. As the process of the install moved along, I was able to ask the guys about various things that came to mind so a lot of what Eric had told me began to make sense to me. I think that I know pretty well what went on and what is going on. As much as I care to know. And, I feel free to phone them if I have questions. They are very nice people. I saw the TV program NOW on PBS about Decorah, IA where folks are off the grid and have storage batteries. I like my system better. I have always felt that this is the thing to do, but it was only recently that I decided that I could afford the monthly payment. That is the only real point that I care about because I am convinced that it is a good idea! I am 71 and tell folks that I am doing this for the next generation. I feel pretty noble, I will admit. I think that I am doing something that is very helpful to the planet.

This was a new construction site with limited roof space. Sunergy worked with us to put the system in the location we wanted -- other`s had said it couldn`t be done! We are `green` so our decision was based on our beliefs and values. We think that our system shows how you can use solar without having a distracting array on your roof!

Would have preferred a little more interest on the companies part to explain what I needed to do to ensure I have rebates and payback contracts. Reading the manuals is not as good for me as taking the time to show me how something works. Most of my motivation to do this is that I feel it is imperative we reduce fossil fuel usage and indebtedness to foreign countries. The only way to do that is to find other sources of fuel. It is imperative that we be caretakers of our planet and environment for future generations.

Initial design and installation in 2006 was flexible to allow for 50% expansion which we did in 2007. We really appreciated the time SUNERGY folks took to explain and work with us on design and installation (including concerns about system efficiency, esthetics, and care during installation to protect roof and gutters and not track any insulation from the attic through the house). All persons at SUNERGY seem to be very dedicated to mainstreaming clean, renewable, energy. SUNERGY has also been great at followup with respect to the various financial savings and necessary metering associated with solar installations (Greentags, net metering, etc.). We highly recommend them to people who are considering solar installations. Purchase incentives included Greentag, no sales tax in WA, net-metering. Because the panels and inverter were not manufactured in WA, there was no incentive associated with them. The work corrections based on the utility inspection were minor (labelling; routing the ground wire). Please feel free to correct any spelling or grammatical errors I may have made

This is a great group. They are getting started, but they are very experienced and ecited to work with us. Mike

Robert was very professional. After numerous rain delays, he adjusted his schedule to fit us in and get our solar system repaired and running. The amount of time and materials he quoted was right on. He also improved the overall efficiency of our 25 year old solar system.
