Solar Systems of Indiana designed and installed two systems to my site, one ground mount system and one roof mount system. The first system, a 3,420 watt ground mount, was installed in 2012. I was so happy with the system that had them design and install an 8,600 watt system on the roof of my studio. My studio is now a net-zero building that harvests more energy than I use.

While knowledgable I found them to be very slow and distracted. Saying they would be on site one day and not showing up until the next day or even week without notification. Promise after promise lead to months of waiting. In the end, and I mean the very last day possible, the system went online and off they went. Subsequent problems are still left unresolved.

Alex and his crew were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and courteous. The system was fairly priced and has performed even better than expected. I shopped around and they gave me the most value for my money. They followed up with any questions I had regarding the technology and helped me file paperwork with the utility.

Alex did a great job every step of the way. He was responsive when we had questions and he went out of his way to make sure we understood the product and installation process. I hope we can work with him again.

I was invited to observe and sometimes help digging and mounting equipment. Doing this I learned a lot of the inner workings of my installation. I can only recommend getting involved in the physical process of installation. All of the above steps went very smooth. Unfortunately my utility company took 6 weeks to tell me what changes they need me to make to my home owner`s insurance policy. At this point this is still not wrapped up. Not my contractor`s fault. We are the first grid-tied PV installation on this utility.
