Honest, Fair, I Would Use Them Again for Solar Panels
I felt that the people I dealt with were honest. Jason (Sales) was not pushy, was very responsive, and was willing to give me what I was looking for at a fair price. I had 11 bids from different companies and went with Solar Ready Solutions. Doug was my project manager and was responsive and patient. Their electricians are very knowledgeable. I asked for the company to plan the wiring and make a house visit before I signed the contract and they did. The wires also went in the place they said they would. As with any company doing contract work, there are road bumps and the homeowner needs to be actively involved. I was pleased with how Solar Ready Solutions handled my solar panel installation and how they responded when I brought up concerns and technical clarifications. They installed 32 solar panels on a raised seam metal roof. As a side note, anyone who does not do their research on solar and does not stay involved in the process with ANY contract work may be disappointed with the results. You need to stay involved with the project manager and know what is happening with your project. I felt Solar Ready Solutions did a a good job at a fair price.

Started Great. Ended Terribly!
Everything was great until the install and then it all unraveled from there. The installers blew large holes through my walls in several different places. They also told me they’d cut me an attic access in my son’s closet so they could run their conduit through that attic space and did the worst hack job on this opening that my 7 yr old son could have done better. The hole now needs to be taped and closed up because it won’t even work as a legitimate access. They took absolutely zero care for my walls and door jams of my newly built/painted home (only 3 months old). They left dents and black scuff marks from their ladders all over my door jams and attic entrance trims. When they first arrived they convinced me that a different inverter than what we had selected was the better one and so we agreed to do the one the installers recommended. Somewhere during the install his boss got mad at him for changing my mind and instead of telling me this he just went ahead and installed the other inverter. It wasn’t until after he was all done that he told me and I now have the wrong inverter mounted on the outside of my brand new house! After they left I called the company and complained about all that was done. They admitted the installer was out of line but didn’t seem too eager to want to help me. They said they had a guy they use to fix all of the damage to my house and he came and did a worse job patching holes, closing up the attic access, painting, texturing, etc than I could have done myself. I was so frustrated and done with them and their shenanigans that I just said screw it and my dad and I willl go through and fix everything ourselves. Honestly, the products I got are great, the solar panels and price are awesome, but due to the worst installation process I’ve ever experienced I can’t rate them better than a 1 star. I even gave them the opportunity to make it right and avoid a 1 star review and they didn’t even reply back to me. So here it is. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Proceed with caution.

solar panels and installation
They made a mistake and put one of my panels over my roof cutter, but did return to move it up. My biggest complaint is they did not explain how I read the dials or how the system actually works. Other than that everything else is fine as far as I know right now.

There was an issue with the wiring where the panels were generating max capacity. It took a couple visits, but they were responsive. When I was having issues, I couldn't find a customer service number for SolarReady and the intermediary, Brio, didn't have one either. My recommendation for SolarReady is to set up a call center for general questions and appointment setting if there are issues. Also, I never knew the time of day SolarReady was showing up. They just appeared so it was tough for me to schedule my day. However, everyone I interacted with at SolarReady was very professional and friendly. For the price (>$20k), I feel like it should have included a Tesla PowerWall (or equivalent) so my home could use stored solar energy instead of sending back to the grid. Lastly, the analysis of average power usage per month (Brio) didn't include a full year and excluded the summer months so I think the recommended set up was short.

up and running
Installation of panels was faster than I thought. They had a large crew for my 22 panels. The time frame from the purchase to install date was appoximately what I had been told by the sales rep. . The final step of the monitor system was quite a bit longer than it should have been. I was still producing but just couldn't monitor the system for almost 2 weeks. The sales rep had told me 90 days and it was more like 120 days for the monitor to be completely online.

Solar Ready Solutions were wonderful to work with. The company was very knowledgeable about Solar and troubleshooting our questions. The administration staff is very quick to respond to questions and handled everything on a personal level. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to be treated fairly and with respect.
