Great company and great team

I first looked at another company. The salesman talked fast and told me everything I wanted to hear. He made me nervous to the point that I spoke with Organ Mountain Solar and Electric. They were knowledgeable and capable. They went above and beyond what was expected. They quickly responded to questions and problems that arose. Without a doubt, they went above and beyond what was required to complete the job.

Local, capable and honest

I wanted to upgrade my newly purchased older home to solar. The good news is that Organ Mountain Solar and Electric told me what they could do, would do AND lived up to their promises. They walked me through all processes every step of the way. Their installation was done sooner than initially promised and their paperwork for everything is thorough and complete. They were easy to communicate with and prompt to reply to all calls, texts and emails. I'm so glad to have met the friendly and informative employees at Organ Mountain Solar and Electric and recommend the company highly. The hardware they installed is top quality with a long-term warranty, too. They are local. They are loyal. And they are where they will be when they said they would be there. One of the reasons I wanted to post a review is the company I initially contracted with, Solcius, was incommunicado after the signature on the contract was dry, and NOTHING happened well past the deadlines they had established. I had to fire them and, interestingly, both salesmen called several months later to say they were with a different company, just in case I wanted to sign with a “better” company. So glad I had already signed on with Organ Mountain by then. Even with those delays, they had my panels installed, approved and online before the December 31 deadline for the 30 percent Federal Tax Credit.

Best Decision We Have Made

When I make a purchase I want to ensure that I am getting the best possible product, experience, while still paying a great price. This was my precise experience with Organ Mountain Solar and Electric. Our salesperson was Donald Wiklund and his attention to our needs was timely and professional. During our planning stages, we sat down at my house to go over the cost, payment options, and all the important details. I asked if I could have a copy of everything we spoke about including their excel sheet to put my own numbers in later. Without hesitation, Donald offered it up. This demonstrated to me that they want their customers to be informed and not take advantage of our lack of knowledge. The install was done professionally and within a few hours (still blows my mind). We are now all set up with the phone application that allows us to view all of the solar power we are producing and a lot more important information. The quality of the panels they use are top-notch and have a 25-year warranty. Solar is an investment and we wouldn't want to be invested with any other company. Please do yourself a favor and don't go with anyone else for solar. Stay local and stick with Organ Mountain Solar and Electric!

Excellent service

The team at Organ Mountain solar are top notch. They answered all our questions and worked quickly and efficiently. It was a windy day when they did the installation and I was a little worried for them installing on such a windy day. But the installation team that came out had no problems and had everything installed that day. It was all very professional. Someone even came out a few days later to go over the meter and how to read it. I can't recommend Organ Mountain solar high enough.

Excellent product, installation and service

The most professional and efficient crew I have worked with in my 40 years of working in and around construction. Proud to have their product on my property. Great company and so very professional.

Excellent Customer Service

We really enjoyed working with the Organ Mountain Solar & Electric team. They helped answer all of our questions and guided us through the entire process.

Professional, knowledgable, thorough -- the best

A company builds its reputation on knowledge, service, integrity, and reliability. We purchased a house in Las Cruces that already had solar installed. Over time, our power bill began to rise, so we decided to expand the system. Since we had no direct experience with the original system installation company, we researched all area solar companies and determined that Organ Mountains Solar & Electric has the most qualified and extensively trained personnel of any company in the Las Cruces/El Paso area. When Organ Mountain Solar’s Scott Burns arrived to assess our system and expansion needs, he quickly determined that the system didn’t need expansion at all, that it was severely underperforming due to failure of key components that simply needed repair. Scott and technician/installer Mark Eshelman guided us through each step, fully explaining necessary repairs and replacement of components, working directly with the supplier to secure warranty coverage for the failed parts and thus keep our costs low. The knowledge and expertise of Organ Mountains Solar personnel is unsurpassed and supported by a foundation of professional integrity, friendliness, and reliability. Organ Mountains Solar is hands down the region’s best. With Organ Mountains Solar, you know you’re going to get the best service at a price you’d pay for far less with another company.

Exceptional people and quality workmanship

My wife and I live in Las Cruces NM and have installed solar on three houses. Two houses have solar installed by Organ Mountain Solar, and a third house with a different organization. What we have learned through these installations is that: Solar is not a commodity, and you can’t compare companies on price alone. Nor do solar panels from two different companies perform the same, nor is their durability or warranty the same. There are as many details with solar as there are in building or remodeling a house and selecting the right contractor to produce the results you desire. Organ Mountain Solar has exceeded our expectations with both solar installations with their focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail in the design, installation, and post installation support. In our most recent installation we had an uncooperative HOA that required us to work through design changes over the course of months, and Organ Mountain stayed with the process while patiently working with the HOA. The icing on the cake was when the local utility came to connect the solar system to the public grid and commented “Organ Mountain is the best – we never have any issues with their installations, and in comparison we often have to inspect installations from other companies 4,5, and even 6 times before connecting the systems to the grid.” It’s impressive to us that not only do we see a difference, but the experts do as well. We love Organ Mountain Solar and are pleased to recommend them to our friends and fellow New Mexicans.

Great company with professional staff

After months of research, Organ Mountain Solar is by far the best solar company in New Mexico. No other can compare to their customer service, outstanding product and workmanship. I highly recommend to anyone looking to install solar panels to contact them. Great product, great experience.

I'm David (username NUTSOFACTO) - a retired Navy Meteorologist

This project was done swiftly by very talented installers that readily answered questions and described the process to us. Their was no indication of confusion among the crew and the job was somewhat complex as it involved two buildings.

Extremely Satisfied customers

We had researched Solar Panels extensively and with Don's expertise and a great product we ended up with a system exactly as we had envisioned. It has a great guarantee the price was competitive and the after market service is terrific. We highly recommend this company.

Quality Product, Quality Service

Corey and Dave did a great job of educating me throughout the process. I compared many different panels, but felt like SunPower was the highest quality out there.
