They don't tell you that you can get assistance from the government When you ask about storage for outage they recommend a home generator They have never told me about storage even though I asked They tie you up with a 25 year lease so you can't add anything that the system unless they get involved $$$$

Harassment!

This company is making my life miserable. They will call up to 3 times a day, every single day. I've told them many times to opt me out of their calling list and they still call. Blocking doesn't work since they use a different number every time. At this point I feel that I am being harassed! Any lawyer willing to help me suit for harassment?!

Scam

These people are sales scamming the elderly. Hundreds of complaints. They have no soul. They lie about everything and they try to pressure you. Checkout the consumers complaints page for Florida. It is also illegal to go door to door in Charlet County FL. Call the police if they come to house.

Terrible Experience

Avoid this company at all costs. They are manipulative and use strong harassment tactics to try to strong-arm you into signing up. I have declined their offerings 3 times, and they are still calling, texting, and using other members from their team to reach out with different angles. There are so many red flags. I caution you to stay far away from this company. They don't mean you any good, and they don't care about their customers.

Total Rip-Off

If I were operating a business, I would never treat customers the way Momentum Solar treated us. We were misled throughout the sales process, given inaccurate and incomplete information, and sold a system that primarily benefited the salesperson through excessive profit rather than meeting our actual needs. The salesman, Daniel, conducted the sale in a way that we believe was deceptive and lacked honest disclosure.

False promises liars and they don’t care about the customer

Severe Service Failure – Avoid Momentum Solar I strongly advise anyone considering Momentum Solar to look elsewhere. I am currently experiencing a major system failure where 16 solar panels are not reporting or producing power, and getting support from this company has been nearly impossible. Momentum Solar provides no meaningful way to contact a live service representative. Customers are forced into an endless loop of automated chats and scripted responses. After repeated attempts to get help, I was told their process requires 10–14 days just for a technician to call, not even to come out and diagnose the problem. For a system that is actively failing and not producing power, this type of delay is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of customer support and accountability. I have attempted to escalate this issue, including reaching out directly to company leadership, including Arthur Souritzidis, and received no response whatsoever. Ignoring customers when their system is malfunctioning is not how a reputable company should operate. Momentum Solar markets long-term warranties and reliability, but based on my experience, those promises appear meaningless when the company cannot even respond to a service issue in a reasonable timeframe. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered, and I would strongly recommend that anyone considering solar installation research other companies before trusting Momentum Solar with their investment. March 10, 2026 three months My panel has been down. No one ever calls. You. They do nothing But liars awayThis company is an absolute joke. Follow up. I had a call from a manager stating that she has a high-level meeting on Friday and she’ll contact me on Monday with some answers and guess what no call back it’s Tuesday. Still waiting for a call over a month now to schedule an appointment for service , this company should be shut down for lack of service. It has been over a month, and I still haven’t received a single phone call to even schedule an appointment to repair my solar system. I have used the chat system four separate times, and each time the chat conveniently disconnects after I’m told, “We’ll get back to you.” No one ever does. I’ve called repeatedly and left multiple voicemails—no calls back. The level of unresponsiveness is unbelievable. Once you sign the contract, customer service completely disappears. At this point, I’m being forced to consider legal action, including consulting an attorney to recover lost revenue due to my system being down for an extended period with no service or communication. I even tried escalating the issue by emailing the CFO, Arthur Souitzidis, hoping someone in leadership would respond. Once again—no response. There is no way to speak to a live person. You can email, leave voicemails, or get stuck in endless chat loops, but you cannot actually get help. This company is entirely non-responsive and should not be allowed to operate this way. I strongly recommend staying far away from this company. I am beyond frustrated. I have called four times and was told it would take 10–14 days just to schedule an appointment. I am now sitting at 3.5 weeks with not a single callback. I have opened four separate chat sessions. Each time, I asked for a supervisor or manager’s phone number, and every single time the chat mysteriously disconnected immediately after that request. This company is completely non-responsive and clearly does not care about customers once the contract is signed. Before signing up, they hounded me nonstop—calls, messages, knocking on my door. Once I became a customer, service completely disappeared. After leaving a negative review, they asked me to email them—which I have now done twice—and still no response. This is, without question, the worst customer service experience I have had with any company in decades. I strongly recommend NOT using Momentum Solar. Once they have your business, getting service is nearly impossible. I’ve had nothing but frustration with Momentum Solar. My system has had a service issue for over six months, so I finally called to get help. I was told it would take 10–14 days just to get a service appointment, and that someone would call me back. That timeframe has now passed, and no one has called. Reaching a live agent is extremely difficult, and when you do, there is no urgency or follow-through. It’s ironic how aggressive they were when trying to get me to sign up, but once you need support, you’re essentially ghosted. If you’re considering solar, I strongly recommend choosing another company with better customer service and accountability. I would highly discourage using Momentum Solar. Erroneous Billing

Worse service I have ever encountered in trying to resolve incorrect billing. Accounts dept clearly isn't accountable and they everything is handled by collections dept who apparently doesn't know accounting. Bill paid in full monthly but told i have a past due. No one can explain

Not Committing their promises

Never trust this company, they are not committing their promises to the customers. I have solar panels from them and my bill is more from what I was paying without Solares. In addition, I referred my friend to Momentum Solar, initially they been saying I shall wait until solar installation on his roof after installation they came to me saying they have my friend in the system from before which is wrong, he never had any discussions with terrible company. Their referral system is not trusted as well. Never recommend these people.

Not trustworthy beaware

Please be. Wry careful when you with Momentum solar.ask in writing for the promises made by the sales representatives. We have a group given 20 plus order to Momentum and. Each one of has issues with dealing momentum after Lee signed the contract. I am still facing issues to get the referral amount I was planning as part of the order. I spent hours with sales guy and Customer Service but no result, we just get standard answer your case has been escalated. I was holding the final payment because I did not received the referral amount and momentum had disconnected my solar with PSEG, horrible guys please deal with them very carefully!!!!

Unlimited sales calls

They don’t stop, they harass you and it’s extremely rude, none of them are robo calls every call has sales person behind it. I am convinced that I will never move ahead with this company for solar.

DONOT USE SOLAR MOMEMTUM

Please do not use Solar Momentum. I had solar installed two years ago with another vendor, yet my phone number was somehow listed as a lead with Solar Momentum. I have repeatedly told them to remove my number, but they have continued to call and harass me for the last two years. Completely unacceptable and extremely poor customer service.

The absolute worst

I've been a customer for 7 years and in addition to paying for my panels I've been having high bills from my utilities. They said I would cover 100% of my power but that's definitely not the case. I recently added panels to try and cover my bill and paid for them to also install critter guard. What they installed was not critter guard and it's definitely not worth what I paid for it, and it looks like the person installing it has never installed it before. I asked for them to fix it and at least make it look like it's supposed to, and they said I would have to pay for the service call. To fix something I already paid for. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever received from a company. I love the idea of of solar, but get it literally anywhere else. These people are crooks.

Very slow process and bad customer support

Absolutely do not recommend. The process has been incredibly slow, and I've been getting constant runarounds. My appointment has been rescheduled multiple times, pushing it back by three weeks. Each time I called, customer service would promise that a technician was coming "tomorrow," but they never showed up. When I finally asked for a reason, the representative said, "I just let you know we are rescheduling, I don't know what happened to the technician." This lack of communication and accountability is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against using this company if you value your time and expect reliable service.

Merciless Company

I have installed solar panels with Momentum in March 2024 In July 2025 my system is having issues And no one from the company has come to fix the issue yet Now I have to pay to PSEG for the power that I am using inspite of having solar panels on my roof Tbere is no ETA for this issue to be resolved I am their mercy I have no other option than wait for them

Do not recommend.

From June through August 2025 — the most critical months for building solar “energy banking” credits to offset winter bills — my system from Momentum Solar produced virtually no energy. This was not due to weather or anything I did — the system simply wasn’t functioning. Because of this downtime, I was forced to purchase all of my electricity from Eversource at full grid rates, which cost me significantly more than expected and wiped out the summer credits Momentum Solar highlighted as a key benefit when I signed on. When I reported the issue, the company denied responsibility and refused to provide any compensation for the lost production or the additional costs I incurred. Their lack of accountability, slow response, and unwillingness to make the situation right have left me regretting my investment. Solar is a major commitment, and customers should be able to rely on their provider to stand behind their product and promises. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Momentum Solar.

Leaking roof

I have had a leak around my chimney for years. I mentioned this to the momentum sales person as I also purchased my roof through momentum. I was assured that the chimney and flashing would be addressed. The leak around the chimney persists after the new roof and now I'm told the roof is separate from the chimney and now I need to pay to remove and reinstall the panels to fix the leak.

Terrible Customer Service and POOR QUALITY ROOF

0 Stars!!! I purchased a roof and solar panels from Momentum and I am so disappointed with the quality of the roof. They sell you that you are getting a top of the line roof when in actuality they completely overprice and have no expertise in this area! Also, no one from the roofing department will respond to my concerns. My roof is sagging under the panels and there are wavy shingles all over. I am so upset that I trusted this company.

Horrible company

These people actually pretend to help get solar but if your property doesn't have complete in sun whole house from satellite imagery. They will call you from a Connecticut number at 9:00 pm to cancel their idea for your home. Again if your roof is not completely exposed to the sun full sun. Do not answer the 800 number that calls you. They do not call from local companies and waste your time and wake up the family.

Stay away from this company

I've been with this company for over a year. They marked up a good deal got me on with them. Now im being screwed. They are only sending 250- 350kw to my electric bill. Still have high electric bill and now $200+ solor bill. They do not answer there phone when you call. But dont pay your bill they ring phone off the wall to get there money. When I asked them that I'm producing 1300+ kw and only 350 max is going towards my electric They always say the same thing "you were on real time" then why am I paying for solor and electric. They are all bullshit company they lied about $8600 rebate for my taxes. Told me my bil will never go above $124 for solor. They guys that were sent to my house were very rude to my dogs. Lied about "government free panel" program. Don't waste your time and money

They call over and over again

This company is relentless! Just today I received 6 calls from them. Each time I blocked the number, they would call back on another one. As a business owner myself, I find it rude and tacky hounding people. If I didn’t answer the second time, then it’s obvious I don’t want the business. I wish the do not call list still worked and these companies didn’t harass by using different numbers.

Please please dont waste your money to this company

We spent 20K to add solar and battery for almost 7 months and it hasn't been completed. We tried to contact their customer service but no one answered because the department has been closed. Until now, there is no clarity about our solar power. We will try to contact local TV to help resolve this problem.

Twice we made appointments for this company to come a discuss solar for our house in plantation. These are two separate times about a year apart. First time schedule an appointment a no-show not even a call nothing and that was after they confirmed it the day before. System has not been working since install

If you want a company that doesn't return phone calls and won't service your system this is it. If you want your biggest investment to have random holes drilled in it and the system to look like it was installed by a 3 year old this is it. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy, Customer service is terrible and the system is even worse. I'm planning on removing my system and taking legal action against them because they are in breach of contract by supplying a service that does not work but still making the customer pay for it.

Untrustworthy

They came out to sell me a system. The first question I asked was what if I need to replace my roof. They said they would inspect the roof and if they didn't think the roof was going to last for 10 years they would wait for me to get a new roof first. I asked what if the roof doesn't last 10 years. They said they would take solar down and put it back up for free. The roof lasted 3 years and now they are telling me I should have gotten a coupon for the removal and install. Of course the guy that sold it to me doesn't work there anymore. They want $5200 to remove and put back up. I'm now taking them to court. DON'T BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!

Find someone else

I'm in Rhode Island and maybe they are so new here that they don't list RI and don't follow RI's requirements for Renewable Energy Refunds. I like the people I worked with but it doesn't excuse that they - blew the 2024 install date so had couldn't get the 2024 Federal tax credit ($5,000), their - terrible inter-departmental comunications - Design team (panel design for house) seemed to repeatedly insist I use their first design and not the revised design - turned out that NO PANEL DESIGN THEY did QUALIFIED for RI Renewable Energy Fund after 5 (yes five) sales, operations and project management people told me I would "absolutely" get the cash-in-hand rebate ($4,500). NOPE - Bringing this to their attention (and the sr sale rep did help do this), they gave me $1000 saying they would lose money if they gave me more. - and today, I again received their apology that no one knew RI's requirements "because these things change" along with yet another wrong or incomplete idea of non-qualified. - I do believe their actual product and install is good quality Overall, I would skip this company. Big headache, over and over again. Others like Isaksen seem much more together and able to deliver what they say they will though I've never worked with them and know only that their website seems pretty good.

Dishonest Salesman

As a Momentum customer 5 years in it is extremely disappointing that the salesman misled us when discussing the removal & installation process in the event of weather damage to our roof. He told us on two separate occasions that the process would not cost us and now I find out that there is a cost associated with the process. Does Momentum help? No - they just apologize repeatedly and say there is nothing they can do. I would strongly encourage anyone interested in solar panels to consider someone other than Momentum and their dishonest salesman.

Annoying company calls

misleading price

I am paying just as much with momentum then I was paying with Duke energy I was told I would save money not true I was told my bill from Duke energy will be $16 Dollars a month now it's $57.00 a month I will be notifying the BBB to make a complaint.

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY

BEWARE they try to trick you to believe you are stuck with them even though I was told you are not responsible until a truck comes with material and you can change your mind. I haven't received a definite outline of cost just that I could save 40% of my electric bill. Because I am pulling out of the so called agreement they want to charge me $2,000 for a man who was here for 15 minutes to see if roof is safe. I'm livid and see you in court! That was never ever explained to me.

Sales shark and gimmicks galore

I interviewed 3 companies on the same day. All two hours apart. Momentum was in the middle and I made it clear we had a commitment and had to be done by a certain time. Very nice guy, but almost too personable that he didn't get to business until it was almost time for our next rep. He talked down his competitors and tried to force us into a contract before we meet with the next company. Then he sat in his car in the driveway the entire time we talked to the other Rep and had the nerve to knock on the door and ask to use the bathroom then proceed to argue that the rep with me was lying. I finally said get out of my house! He said he had to call his manager and I had to talk to them, which I didn't. He then proceeded to text me that the other company was selling an inferior product and he's lying. It took a few text of blatant honesty to tell him, he was the reason I choose the company! So, I cannot speak to anything other than their sales and tell you that besides getting 3 different reps calling before the appointment to schedule an appointment and this dudes sales technic, they don't know there ass from their elbow!

Customer Service Lies

Had a failure in my solar/battery backup system for a component which Enphase is covering under hardware warranty. They sent me the part and asked me to set up service with my provider. Here's where it got bad. Momentum Customer Service cannot talk with the Service Scheduler, so they entered a case and promised that it would be FIXED within 10 days. When I checked for a date, I was told it would be "SCHEDULED" within 10 days. When I still didn't hear from them and called back, I was told 14 days for a schedule. The case was escalated and it was finally scheduled for today between 12-4PM. Of course, because of the huge snow storm in Austin (less than ¼ inch of snow) all service calls were deferred. No one called me. After 4PM no one showed, I called into Customer Service and was told my call was deferred to tomorrow. I asked to speak to a Customer Service Manager and was told he would call me. I waited for ½ hour and, you guessed it, no call back, so I called Customer Service Again. This rep was very nice and said he would find out what was going on. I was then told that "Scheduling" was working on rescheduling all of the calls from today and that my case had NOT BEEN RESCHEDULED after all. I now have a new date, two days out. Will they actually show up? Who knows... When I first bought my system, Momentum's service was very good. In fact, they called me to tell me about a problem with my system and fixed it quickly. Now, I have to let them know, source the parts myself and beg them to install the replacement part. Momentum Service communication is terrible and do they lie? Perhaps they are just making up stuff because they just don't know how to cover poor service.

Smart enough to say no, but too nice not to have wasted my time

Vague description from canvas employee led to what was supposed to be 30-60 minutes explanation of Solar System they offered. Ended up being 2 hours sales pitch trying to bash the utilities company, estimate an inflation model, propose a more affordable one and finally push for urgency to sign today for big discount. In the end I learned they lease equipment for solar and own part of your property. They charge you for power close to what the utility already does. Equipment has warranty for faults but not damage incurred. I am looking at getting Solar, but companies like these make it easy to get started and I can see who ends up profiting.

Momentum just wastes my time.

Momentum Solar has, unfortunately, become a bad company. I had my solar panels installed a little over four years ago by Momentum and it was a good experience. After purchasing a plug-in hybrid vehicle this year, my energy needs increased so I contacted Momentum in March about adding more panels as well as adding back-up batteries. I was told I'd need a few months of electric bills justifying the need for more panels so in August I sent the bills proving the need. I was contacted by their installation manager who said the need for more panels was justified. However, he said there were a couple of other jobs he needed to complete first so he couldn't get to me for a couple of weeks. When I didn't hear back three weeks later, I called him and he said his wife had been ill but he would get to me in a week or so. After another couple of weeks I called again and he said he was on vacation. After another few weeks I called again and his assistant said he was on the other line and she took the message so he could call me back. When I didn't hear back days later, I called Momentum's main number, and asked if there was someone else who could get to my project, but they said the only one who handles that work is the man who doesn't even return my calls. I then asked for a higher up at Momentum to call me urgently because I needed the project completed before the end of the year. It's now a week later and nobody has contacted me. If they treat an existing customer this way, I can only imagine what they do to unsuspecting new ones.

Working with Momentum is torture

I wish I could give half a star for Momentum Solar. Customer Service reps were unfailingly friendly and helpful, but the schedulers and the workers were uninterested, unconcerned, and negligent. I started working with them in mid-August on a simple remove and re-install so I could get a new roof installed. They delayed and stalled for 6 weeks before they removed them. A new roof was on in 2 days. They didn't return for almost 4 weeks to replace them. The installers gave me incorrect information. They were on their phones, or shooting the breeze with each other for hours. The re-install took 9 hours because they spent the first 3 talking to each other, standing on the roof, but not working. Working with them is torturous. Stay away from Momentum Solar

Best solar and service

We just signed up with Justin Benton. He was so knowledgeable and I can see we will always be in contact if we have questions or any issues, that is how personal Brian is. We also had the pleasure of working with Kami and she was wonderful. We have had Momentum Solar on our NJ home and have nothing to say bad about having Solar’s. New Solar Power

I have had a wonderful experience working with Karan from Momentum solar. She has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the process. She was very deliberate about taking her time and making sure everything was explained well. She went the extra mile to make sure we were able to get as many incentives as possible. *DO NOT sign a contract with Momentum Solar... There is a lack of professionalism and customers service, in which i have NEVER experienced before! On 06/24, we agreed on a price for the solar project at my home... after speaking with the manager over the phone, the approval was granted by the company owner and the contract was signed. Several weeks later, I was contacted over the phone and told that the cost for the project could not remain the same as we had previously agreed and signed upon. However, months have passed and I still don't have an answer as to what this "new cost" would be. It's pretty clear that this company just doesn't want to deal with this issue and the fact that it's a breach of contract. We all know that contracts are created to protect the company providing said services, however, it's also made to protect the customer. The fact that Momentum Solar, has created this breach of contract issue and at the end of the day, is just dragging along simply waiting for the customer to give up... hoping for a no harm no foul type of situation is absolutely despicable!!! I will make sure to write about my experience with Momentum Solar, at every chance I get, so that the public understands and sees the type of business this company is willing to offer.

They are cheaters. They told me before they agreed with me and I signed the contract that I have a 25-year warranty. With the first year and the first system failure, they told me I have to pay. I told them that I have a warranty. They said that the warranty does not cover the panel. If it needs to be replaced, only if it is faulty and we can fix it, we will do it for you. They are cheaters and frauds.

Momentum Solar Scams Clients

I got service from Momentum Solar last year (IGS Solar, LLC). They promised my electric bill would go down with solar. I would be saving about $40.00 per month. I have been paying $10-20 dollars extra a month now since solar. They came or a man came and lied to my wife and I. This people are the scum of the earth. I called to complain and they told me the deal was for a cheaper electric bill but adding the solar the cost is high. I asked where my savings were, but they were rude and refused to help. They said I was stuck with the deal. I was stupid enough to increase my monthly electric bill. It is also almost impossible to sell the house. What mad person will want an added bill? They are lying thieves stay away from solar. It is not free like they say. It will end up costing you about $50,000.00 and an unsold home.

Improperly designed and installed

Unfortunately, the micro-inverters specified for my project were undersized, and we now have what is known as "clipping." Which means, the panels are able to produce more the micro-inverters can handle, so we leave some "sunlight on the table" every day. It's estimated what I have lost about 5-10% of production because of this. Secondarily, when they installed the panels, they did not center them on the roof. This may seem petty, but it looks ridiculous, and I see it every time I pull into my driveway. I reached out to them for about a year on this, and could never get anyone to respond or take my call. The post-install support from this company is abysmal.

Wouldn’t leave my home

Rep came out for a consultation, i had sent a copy of my bill to them the day before so they could come prepared. Unfortunately, the rep didn’t have any numbers for me and he kept trying to get his “engineering” team to crunch the numbers. That never happened. After 1 hour I asked him to leave and he wouldn’t leave my home. Very pushy salespeople with no preparation.
