I recently had my solar panels reinstalled by Michigan Solar Solutions, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Kyle H., Kyle L., Jimbo, and Tony did an amazing job, not only was the reinstallation done efficiently and with great attention to detail, but they also took the time to walk me through how to get the most value out of my solar system. Their advice was incredibly helpful and showed that they truly care about their customers getting the best performance possible. Everyone on the crew was friendly, respectful, and clearly passionate about their work. Dan Henderson and the rest of the crew at Michigan Solar Solutions were outstanding to work with as we converted our church to solar power. Just had Michigan Solar Solutions take down the solar existing solar panels and reinstall them after getting a new roof. Really pleased with the company because how well they communicated scheduling and the process. But the best interaction where the employees who came out. They really make the company. Incredibly professional, helpful and took care of the property as well as meticulous about cleaning up after themselves. I just have to give a special acknowledgement to Karl H. who gave a perspective on the roof replacement and identified a few issues that I would never have known and which the Roofing company will be coming out to address. This goes above and beyond for which I am grateful for. I also wanted to acknowledge Reid D. James H. Russell J. Michael B. for their professionalism in the face is 12F temperatures and 15 mile winds. Great job guys.

After needing 3 times someone to correct bugs in the solar panel system on my house including Generac to correct warrantee needs Michigan Solar Solutions came to the rescue. When Kyle arrived he began to do a thorough job and was able to answer all our questions. When he finished, my system is now operating the best it ever has in the two years I have had it. Adam wright explained everything in detail when doing our service call along with Nick trumble. Both were extremely professional and detailed in all our questions. I've been on the negative with the solar until talking to them. Great service guys and will ask for them every time I need service. Great guys

First of all the "boots on the ground" workers, techs, and electricians were absolutely Great. But with that in mind, I have to say the people back in the office do not listen to these outstanding members of their company. It started in April 2023, when MSS sent out some photographers to survey the site. This proved to be useless. Next, in May, some electricians came out and evaluated exactly what was required for our project, an upgrade of an old system--this should have happened first, in April. They reported back to MSS's engineers. Then in June I made it clear that I wanted Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, and I wanted Interconnection with Consumers Energy. They got the message about the batteries, but they dropped the ball about Interconnection. I did not know this until September (Yes, 3 months later!) when I asked my MSS contact person what was happening with Interconnection. So 3 months of time in trying to get interconnection approval with Consumers was lost. From September, 2023 until January 2024 MSS worked on getting interconnection approval. FINALLY, in January the workers arrived. The electricians who had been to the site that one time back in May advised the company that it would be a 4 day job, but MSS only allocated 2 days. Every time another work day was added, it took 2 weeks to schedule it. Also, the on-site electricians were not told by MSS that I wanted my 220 appliances added to the solar power panels, so that was missed until I said something about it. More delays. This took us through February and March. It is now April of 2024, and the project is completed. Bottom line is from April 2023 until April of 2024 it has been delay after delay, mostly because the MSS contact people and engineers did not listen to me or to the electricians who were on site. I also know that they should have sent people out to the site at least 2 more times. They not only mistakenly thought our home was in a different location, but they thought the distance from the solar array to the house was 170 feet, when it is actually 130 YARDS, something that the on-site electricians told MSS. This is just one example of how the company lost a lot of money because they did not listen to their on-site people. I Hope this helps improve how MSS does business because we definitely need more quality solar installation companies.

Michigan Solar Solutions has provided the best customer support! They listened to what the issue was and had someone on site in two days to fix the problem even though they didn't get the initial install work. My system was installed by Power Home Solar & Roofing, but whenever I had an issue, they were less than responsive. Michigan Solar Solutions stepped in and knocked the competitor out of the picture. Andrew and Tory fixed the issue with my system and also connected my system to the monitoring portal like it should have been done over two years ago when it was initially installed by the other company. I highly recommend working with the Michigan Solar Solutions team!! I'm so happy I have found them and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

I had MSS quote a system for us ~ 5 years ago. I was expecting a VA settlement. Well the years came and went but they kept my account alive and finally this year we pulled the trigger using an IRA distribution. Originally wanted a ground mount and the township approved the permit then rescinded it as the array would have been "Forward of the main structure". MSS worked with us and provide the expert advice to allow us to relocate the array to the roof (after a structural assessment). We also added two additional panels both for production and aesthetics. Even thought we are past peak solar production time of the years the system still provide a significant reduction in out electric bill (down ~60% in Oct and Nov). With the way DTE calculates credits, we don't believe we'll ever get full credit for our production, but the lowered bill is worth it! Dawn and Dave have been fantastic in working with us and keeping us informed throughout the process and the installation team did a superb job (32 panels and all associated hardware installed in ~ 8 hours). If you are even remotely considering solar, call MSS.

I've had my system for 2 1/2 years and I am extremely happy with the performance. My power bill has never been over $10 and I have always had a large credit on my bill even though I can't figure out how Consumers calculate the bill. I am going into the winter of 2020 with a credit of $1000 towards my winter use of power. I am extremely happy that I chose MSS because during installation the installers found that I had an electrical issue power to my home and MSS was able to get Consumers to fix the problem by replacing the transformer to my home. I recommend having solar installed and highly recommend MSS.

These people installed my Tesla batteries for me; they were timely & efficient, and most impressive: the electrical inspector who certified their wirk said that he never finds a problem with work done by them. Hire with confidence.

Michigan Solar Solutions installed my solar array at my Lake Isabella home in Isabella County. They were reasonably priced, communicated throughout the process, the installers were friendly. . . and my electric bill is a lot better now! I would recommend them to anyone.

Mark and MI Solar Solutions installed our 9.4 kw array in 2016. Did a great job and accommodated the complexities of our project (2 arrays, 2 inverters). MSS also did a great job when one of our optimizers had an issue - they identified the problem from our data, ordered the replacement parts, and took care of the service without us having to do anything. Looking forward to going back to them for another project in a year or two.

We are thrilled with our new panels. They are less obvious than I thought they would be which is nice. Our salesperson, Troy, was wonderful. He offered to help in every way possible so we were comfortable with what we were getting and what was happening. Very responsive too. We also wanted to take advantage of the current tax write-off.

We finally decided to put on a solar array in December. It had to be done before the end of the year because we found out our local energy co-op was changing their net-metering policy on Jan 1. The poor installation guys for Michigan Solar Solutions were up on our roof shoveling off six inches of snow in 20 mph winds. They got it done in time for us to meet the deadline and everything passed inspection the 1st time. Thumbs up for sales, the project manager and the installers. We just got our June bill and it was -$28.48!

We had MSS put an 8kW system on our new office. Never owe for power again!

The company who installed my solar panels, Phoenix, stopped servicing the panels a few years after installation. The inverters started going bad after couple of years and it got quite serious dropping energy production by more than half. The companies I contacted weren't really interested in maintenance work without installing the panels until I called Michigan Solar Solutions. Not only did they diagnose the problem, they also got the solar panel manufacturer to replace the inverters for free. Five stars for Michigan Solar.

Extremely satisfied with my experience. The process was easy, they gave me a very competitive price so it was affordable, and it has been an amazing investment! Mike walked me through the entire process so it was seamless. Everyone I dealt with was excellent! Highly recommended!

I contacted Michigan Solar & Wind Power Solutions this week for assistance a college project relating to solar and wind power. I spoke with Mark Hagerty who not only was extremely informative on the phone but sent me all the information I needed to meet the parameters of my project.
