After getting several hard sell pitches from companies, we turned to Energy Sage, a non-profit solar clearinghouse for consumer information. Through Energy Sage, we found Green Rack and other responsible local installers and were able then to comparison shop. Scott McKinstry from Green Rack answered all of our questions without pressuring us to buy. Once we made our decision, Brian McMurray sent us all the written plans for the project. Alex came out to do a site survey. Also, Green Rack has a local roofing company it partners with for customers who need a new roof, which we did. Great price on the new roof. And we had a slight hiccup with the billing where we planned to pay with a credit card (in order to get rewards points), but Green Rack charges a 3% fee for credit cards. When we complained about it, Green Rack immediately waived the fee for us. Great customer service from beginning to end. We are so pleased with our solar panels!

Its smartphone app reports are helpful and show it continues to perform well. Agreed to but not initially included was a rodent barrier installed on the second day at additional expense.

He answered all of my questions. Nicole was great to work with for the permit and electric supplier application. There was an issue with the electric supplier application, and she took care of it immediately. Did not slow the process down at all. The installers were nice and had everything installed in one day. They explained the electrical parts of the install and answered any questions I had. Once the electric company changed the meter over, I got a call on how to flip the switches to turn the system on. Then I received an email with a link to the EnPhase Solar Monitor. Followed the directions on-line and the program was running the same day. Would do business with them again.

Nicole was persistent and we eventually got the approval from the electric company after they seemed to drag their feet, pushing back our install. The install was done by Zach and his crew. They arrived promptly and were quick to get to work. Any questions I had during the install were answered, even my more random hypothetical questions. The array that we decided on focused on function while also provided an excellent nice aesthetic to the arrangement. The conduit was neatly ran and minimal holes were needed in my roof. Our install was completed in a little over 4 hours and Mike gave me a rundown on the various breakers and what steps I need to take after the interconnection is completed by the electric company.
