Let’s Harness the Power of the Sun!

My solar system has freed me from the clutches of the monopoly power company. My daytime power needs are now being met with power to spare. I haven’t had a power company bill to pay for months. I am no longer a captive to rising unreasonable power company increases. I am actually paying less than what my last power company bill was. My system install was great. Thomas was phenomenal in handling everything for me. He returned my calls and texts immediately, was truly interested in my concerns and he was always available to answer any questions I had. Thomas was professional at all times and it was enjoyable having him as my project coordinator. I couldn’t ask for a more personable, committed company representative. Thomas made my install painless and on time. Guys like Thomas are rare these days. He should be commended for his efforts and compensated accordingly.

Residential solar

On 1/3/2024 Solar Shark installed solar panels on our house. They said 8 panels to be comfortable about production. We purchased 10 panels to have enough production. It didn't work at all. Not only we are paying to the finance company, but also we are still paying to APS. My husband & I talked to a gentleman name "DON" from custmer services. We requested a person to come & check the installation due to the production dropping . "DON" plain and simply refused to send a person to verify the installation, saying everything was perfect. "DON" THREATENED me that if I would call again, he will call the authorities. PLEASE somebody help us to solve this horrible situation. Solar Shark estimated 1st yr production:7441.7kWh. It didn't happened. "DON" hung up on me. What kind of company is this? Solar Shark ought to have qualifed customer service personal; with knowledge, a person that listens to the customers, as well as social skills.

Professional, Seamless and Zero Cost

We had interviewed 2 solar companies and didn't feel comfortable committing to either. Solar Shark's (yeah, why not) presentation by Thomas was extremely professional. We understood all aspects of the process, the costs and the timeline - except one. We thought we were going to get a 240 watt outlet installed in the garage to charge an electric vehicle we had ordered. We actually got a 400 watt fast charger installed with a dedicated line to a dedicated fuse box. (Usually that costs $1500-$3000). The installation was professional with the wire encased in a conduit and run thru the attic and along the eaves and then painted to match the trim. We were kept informed of each stage and our questions were answered within a day. The Company took care of all permits and coordinations with the city, the electric company and the HOA. No money was paid up front. When payment was due to the solar finance company it was just about the same amount we were paying to the electric company (APS). Our first statement from APS was $0 due and a credit of $44.00. APS is seeking a 30% increase in rates but future APS rate increases will not effect us. Those APS credits will accumulate and each year APS will issue a payment. (Verified with APS.) Solar tax credits of about $8,500 will flow into our bank account next April post tax filing. Cost to charge our Tesla first month: $0 (solar generated an equivalent $23 of power to charge the car but Mr Sun doesn't send a bill. Equivalent gas bill would be about $100.)
