I had my small Solar Panel system and Battery back up installed in late Fall 2025. The entire team from sales to installation were professional and mindful to all details. There was no pressure to sign a contract with James and he was careful and mindful for covering all details. The installation team that included Aaron and Connor as well as a third person I am now forgetting his name (sorry), were also some of the most conscientious contractor/workers I have ever had. Their focus on detail to meet HOA rules as well as local installation codes was flawless. I invested in the system to have the small battery back up system, in the event of an outage. It has worked flawlessly on at least two occasions. I still have not decoded the PGE savings after many months of watching Bills. Thanks to the Federal Rebates that were still in effect when I purchased the system the price was within reason. Unfortunately those have now be suspended but hopefully will return in the not so distant future. I highly recommend Future Energy Savers if you are shopping for a Solar Power System.

Future Energy Savers was fantastic to work with throughout the process. Actually met with them years ago and like the idea of solar but not in position to purchase at that time. They stayed in touch over the years (non-intrusive and never pushy), and when timing was right we purchased. We've now had our system in place for about 3 months and with weather turning warmer, we're now almost fully solar self sufficient. Monthly SMUD bill used to be right around $200 and most recent was around $40 and we're consistently banking excess credits with SMUD that will be used in months when we're not producing as much solar. As recent retirees, it's very comforting knowing that we should be insulated from increased energy costs moving forward. FES were great in keeping us up to date and informed re: next steps throughout the process and the actual install was seamless and FAST! Highly recommend Future Energy Savers for anyone considering solar.

We installed Solar with Future Solar. It was way easier than I thought. They took care of everything you would need to complete the installation. From the permits, city inspection, and submitting the plans with the HOA. They ask where I wanted to place the cable conduit on the house and in the garage to keep the esthetics of the house looking nice. During the installation I was taught about the whole solar system. I would recommend their services. Worth looking into if you want solar.

We first met Future Energy Savers in 2023 at a local Tri-County Home & Garden Show in Sacramento and scheduled an in-home appointment with James about a week and a half later. From the start, James was incredibly thorough and transparent. He walked us through the company’s history, general solar education, technical details of the panels and batteries, and what customer support looks like after installation. The initial meeting lasted close to three hours, and at no point did we feel rushed or pressured. Future Energy Savers was the third solar company we spoke with, and at the time, we truly wanted to move forward with them. Unfortunately, we had just purchased our home and our credit had taken a hit from the new mortgage, so we were not approved for financing. We were honest with James and let him know we would revisit solar in about a year. About a year later, James followed up. At that time, my husband and I still weren’t quite ready, but he remained professional and respectful. In mid-2025, with PG&E bills becoming ridiculously high and the solar tax credit set to expire at the end of 2025, we were finally motivated to move forward. Since our initial meeting in 2023, I had also done a lot of independent research and felt very confident in the quality, design, and performance of the panels and storage batteries Future Energy Savers offers. James came out again and tailored the meeting since we already had a strong understanding of solar. He provided an updated quote, answered our questions, and we decided to move forward. Prior to installation, a technical site visit was completed to determine panel placement and system components on our roof and around the house. After this visit, it was determined that we would not be able to install the originally quoted 14 kW system due to roof limitations and panel orientation, and we were advised to downsize to a 7 kW system. This was disappointing news initially, but this is where Rob, the General Manager, really stood out. Rob took the time to have an extended and thoughtful conversation with me about how to best address the downsizing. He patiently answered all of my questions and worked through different options with me until we found a solution that made sense. Ultimately, we increased our battery storage to help offset the reduced system size. In the end, we actually saved money on the total contract price and reached a resolution that felt fair and customer-focused. While the situation wasn’t ideal at first, I truly appreciated Rob’s patience, transparency, and willingness to find a solution that worked for us. Once everything was finalized, installation was scheduled about a month and a half later. The installation itself took two days, and the crew was excellent—on time, professional, friendly, and very careful with our property. They answered questions throughout the process and clearly took pride in their work. Future Energy Savers handled all permitting with the city and coordinated system activation with PG&E. From installation to full activation, it took a little over a month, which felt reasonable given PG&E timelines. Our system went live in July 2025, and we’ve been very happy with the decision to go solar. With rising energy costs, it’s reassuring to see monthly savings and feel more in control of our electrical usage. Post-install support has been solid. We’ve had two service calls—both for the same PV link issue. While it took a few weeks for a technician to come out each time, the second visit stood out because Future Energy Savers immediately replaced the part instead of going back and forth troubleshooting. Since then, we’ve had no further issues. Overall, we are very happy with Future Energy Savers—from the detailed and educational sales process, to consistent follow-up, a smooth installation, thoughtful problem-solving, and dependable post-install support. We would recommend them to anyone considering solar and looking for a company that genuinely puts the customer first.

From our first encounter with Frankie at the CA State Fair, to James the Salesman, Lisa in the office, Rob the Project manager, Generac our solar company and a several others, the Job was well done. The installation of the Solar looks Beautiful, We are already seeing savings and with the Battery installed, the system, worked as promised, when we had a power outage in our neighborhood last week. We decided to go with Future Energy Savers because of the technology the offered. In particular on the inverter and storage side of the equation. The Generac equipment offers a dedicated inverter enhancing the efficiency of conversion and the battery pack is modular allowing for greater flexibility. The installation was very professionally done and minimally invasive. The only reason for not receiving a 5 star rating: it would have been beneficial to be educated on the 30% reserve on the battery that is standard to protect against outages and the life of the battery. it also would have been nice to have documentation on how to protect the longevity of the batteries. It would be beneficial to have easier access to the different pre-programmed time of use settings that Generac has to offer. This took a bit of individual research to find and interpret. Overall we were very happy with our experience with Future Energy Savers.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Future Energy Solar. The system has made a real, measurable difference. To put it in perspective: my electric bill in December 2024 was $422. This December, it dropped to $221 — nearly half — with no lifestyle changes. That alone speaks volumes about how well the system performs. After being approached by several solar representatives over the past six to twelve months who never followed up, we were fortunate to schedule an appointment with a representative from Future Energy Savers. He was knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions. We especially appreciated the custom calculations that took into account our planned inground pool installation and existing electric car charger, clearly showing the potential savings. Our experience with Future Energy Savers was incredible from the initial phone call to the final inspection and beyond! The meeting with the sales team was amazing. Brianna took the time to explain EVERYTHING in complete detail, and she provided written documentation to support her answers. We were very impressed with that, it showed us WE were important to her, not just the sell! We were on the fence about going solar, but after meeting with Brianna, we could not wait to get started. We worked with many different employees, we would like to name them all personally, but to be honest we do not remember all of their names. What we do remember is that every one of them were extremely professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and so very, very nice. We are proud to be a part of the Future family! We are glad we choose the Generac battery system. It holds a good charge and is easy to use. We love the Generac app that allows us to see everything the battery is doing with a click of a button. It shows how much solar is being generated and it shows the state of charge of the battery. We can even see when we are using the power company and how much we are selling back to them. We love it when that figure is a lot larger than what we are using! We are so glad we finally went solar. We are saving a lot of money in electricity costs. Our last electricity bill was $18.34! We are also very glad we found Future energy Savers, the absolute best to work with.

We interviewed a couple of different solar companies when we started looking to install a solar system on our home. We chose future energy savers because their services met our needs. And they would allow us to buy the system outright. They were very helpful in designing the system to our special needs. We wanted specific installation locations for both the panels and the box as well as our EV charger. They were very helpful and made excellent suggestions. The installation went very smoothly and quickly. They even ran the conduit at my request up under the eaves to hide them and I provided the paint and they painted them to match my house. The installers were very graceful, professional, and accommodating. We would highly recommend them. The only regret we have is we didn’t buy more battery capacity.

Recently purchased solar (with a state of the art Generac system) through Future Energy Savers and the entire process was fantastic. They provided a fantastic overview at our initial conversation and were able to answer any questions my wife and I had about purchasing and onboarding Solar to our house. After purchase, the install was quick and super convenient as it only impacted us for about 5 minutes when moving some things around on power side. After installation, the cost benefits have been fantastic with a huge decrease to our energy bill. Additionally, the app to check energy usage really allowed my wife and I to get a better understanding of when we're using the most energy and how to best optimize our usage as our system is only setup for 70% coverage. Lastly, the battery backup was a great investment as we've been able to keep power going to our house during a power outage without any hiccup in our key devices. Service wise, Future has been fantastic at providing prompt, thorough, and helpful support for any questions we've had and making sure we were informed throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them for anybody looking to add Solar to their house.

I used Future Energy Savers on an old property back in 2015. Had excellent service then so when it came time to change the roof and add solar to my current residence, they were at the top of the list. They quickly sent a sales team out to look at our electrical situation and to provide quotes for different sized systems, working with my future energy use plans as well as my current usage. They weren't the cheapest option, but I knew I was getting quality materials from their Generac system. The installation was quick but thorough, making sure everything worked and promptly replacing anything that didn't. They showed me how to use the Generac PWRview app on my phone to monitor my energy collection and use. Overall, they were amazing with everyone courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. I don't plan on moving anytime soon, but, if for some reason I do, and need solar (or roofing), Future Energy would be my go to hands down.

I couldn't have asked for a more efficient and safe company to install my new solar panel system than Future Energy Savers. From start to finish, the employees I interacted with were both helpful and knowledgeable, beginning with my sales rep Gabe. Gabe was very clear and through in going through all of the financial information. The lead Devin was great to work with, answered all of my questions, and provided me with plenty of information regarding how my system operates and what to look out for. There was a excellent four man crew that respected my property, and wore all of the proper safety equipment. They even went so far as to paint all of the aluminum conduit the same color as my house. It is this attention to detail that really stood out to me. I highly recommend this company and these wonderful employees from the office staff to the onsite installers, you are not going to find better customer service and work.

I really wasn’t expecting to have solar panels installed on my house. After having Briana with Future Energy Savers explain the benefits to me, it made sense to go ahead with the installation. She explained the benefits of Solar with the cost of energy rising yearly, with increasing costs predicted over the next decades. Future Energy Savers installed a Generac system which is well known in the industry, and has a great warranty. This company has been around for a long time, and should be for many years to come if any problems arise in the future. Mitch came over for the pre install walk through and submitted all the paperwork for all permits that were required. The installation was completed very quickly, there crew was very professional, and made the installation very unobtrusive on my homes outside wall and roof. It is now producing power, charging the batteries, and selling the extra power to the power company.

We had a new roof and solar installed by Future Energy Savers and were very impressed by everything. The staff was very attentive, they give you their full attention answering all questions, and prompt in responding. From beginning to end the work was done systematically and took much less time than we had anticipated. I would strongly recommend this company.

I was impressed with the gentleman I spoke with briefly at the door who was the only person willing to leave some literature with me. We had limited time in our schedule to meet with companies, so were happy when Future Energy Savers worked with our schedule to meet with us. James was personable and represented his company well. He was respectful of our time and even came back a second time to ensure that we fully understood the concisely presented information we needed for this investment. We were impressed that Future Energy Savers had been involved with energy conservation since 1978; doors, windows, roofing. All employees including a design engineer who evaluated our current system needs, installers and office staff who scheduled and coordinated the inspection and permit were Future Energy employees. We were relieved to know that the system would be fully owned by us with no problems should we decide to sell our home in the future. The federal tax credit and quickly scheduled install were selling factors as summer was approaching and we also had travel plans we needed to work around. We have been impressed with the user-friendly monitoring App. When we noticed a minor problem with the system via our app, they were able to confirm the issue from their office and schedule the repair by a Future Energy Tech within a day or two. After meeting with 3 different companies for solar estimates and plans, we settled on Future. Not only was their sales department fantastic and communicative, but their installers were equally impressive. We did have one snafu where two of our panels were misaligned during installation, but after contacting rainf the office, a technician came to fix the issue.

A few years back my wife and I were curious about getting solar since PG&E kept increasing their cost. We had a company come out and sit down with us but when we asked how many panels we would need the gentleman basically told us that our whole roof would be nothing but panels. Be aware that our house is barely 1000 square feet so we told him NO... Move forward to the end of September 2024 when one of FES's canvassers came to our door so I asked him a few question and we booked an appointment for a sales person to come out. A week later she showed up and spent 3 hours with us going everything that you could think of. She answered all of our questions so we set up for FES's to install our panels and we only needed 16 not a whole roof's worth. We also included some electrical upgrades and a Generac battery so we can be extra covered in case of outages. FES's handled everything from setting up PG&E to come out, to the city permits and city inspectors. The install was better than we could expect and all the gentlemen who came out were friendly and courteous. Cant wait to see what a full month's PG&E bill will look like since we haven't had the system long enough. If you are thinking of going solar I would highly recommend FES's so give them a call and experience all the good we did..

We got our Solar panels and Generac batteries professionally done by Future Energy Savers and are happy as can be due to their very friendly and professional staff both in bringing us the proposal to getting our financing to the neat and clean installation. It looks amazing and we are looking forward to the solar being installed. We would recommend them to anyone who needs roofing and solar.

We had a great experience with FES from the initial engagement, in home consultation, design and planning and installation. They made the process easy and clear and helped us quickly install our system. We love having solar and our Generac battery is amazing. We have been saved disruptions multiple times since installing and it was a great cost saver during the holiday season with the additional energy use!

Future Energy Savers were a pleasure to work with. From the first meeting to the installation of the system the process was easy. The representative (James Krohn) that came to our house was fantastic. He walked us through the entire process and help secure the loan needed for the project. The installation was way easier than I could have imagined. It was a one-day installation with only 1hr of power down time all day. Fantastic installation crew.

I met with James Krohn from the Elk Grove office on August 9, 2024, to go over solar installation options and costs. He was friendly, very informed about their product, very professional and easily explained my options and costs. I decided to get both the solar panels and Generac battery. The panels and battery were installed on August 21. Everything went smoothly and the installers were very professional. It did take a while for the city to come out and sign off on the project. It also took awhile to receive PG&E permission to start earning solar credits (October 10.) Although Future Energy has no control over the timeline for the city or PG&E they were on top of getting everyone involved as quickly as possible. I do enjoy the Generac app to see in real time the interaction between my house energy needs, solar generation, battery use, and PG&E use. Even though it probably would have been better to install solar in the spring to get the benefit (and credits) of all those sunny days I have realized savings even during this fall and approaching winter. I certainly recommend meeting with James and using Future Energy Savers for your energy saving needs.

I just got my solar panels and a Generic battery from Future Energy Savers. The sales person Briana Brunette was wonderful at explaining everything. The installation was a one day install and the guys were very helpful. The installation happened within 10 days of signing my contract. They had multiple option on how I could finance and battery options. Loved that! I called Generac and they got me all set up on the app. I have to say I didn't think I would be such a nerd about it but love checking my app all the time. My only complain had nothing to do with Future or Generac, but with the county inspectors. The guy at future kept me updated on what was happening with the inspector and I really appreciate that. Every time I call Future they get right back to me within 24 hours, I really like that. Would definitely recommend Future and a Generac battery.

I’ll admit I had some preconceived notions about solar as a legit value proposition but the sales and engineering team at Future really helped to see it as a viable option. The missing piece of the equation was incorporating battery storage into a system. This allows for complete self sustaining power without pulling from the grid at peak hours and when there’s a power outage. As a pool owner, I assumed there’s no way panels could drive the pump, A/C, and appliances simultaneously. Turns out they can. I had previously installed pool solar on the roof and assumed that there wasn’t enough space to get the number of panels to make it worthwhile. Turns out there is room and the engineering team did a great job piecing that together. I also didn’t fully understand the tax credit and that it applies to the entire installation cost including the battery—which gets you 30% back if you itemize. The entire installation process went quickly from start to finish. Future takes care of all local permitting and paperwork with your city. The physical installation of panels/battery storage and electrical wiring for backup circuits only takes 1-2 days. After that you’re at the mercy of PG&E to get scheduled for inspection which is needed to become an authorized seller of power back to the grid. Unfortunately, this process moves very slow. I basically gave a full month of power away to the grid and got zero credit from PG&E. Although my experience has been positive overall, there are some issues that should be mentioned. First, there’s no transparency in pricing. They basically price by size of overall system. You won’t find any itemizations for panels, inverter, batteries, etc. And there’s no way of knowing the parts vs labor breakout. I found this very frustrating. Second is service. There are basically 2 techs on staff to service an entire region. Just getting on the schedule is a chore. Communication is poor and unresponsive at times and Reception has no visibility to the schedule. They pass the request on to the service dept and then you wait. If you’re lucky they’ll have a slot in 2 weeks. Prepare yourself for the realities of the new PG&E NEM3 solar pricing schedule (EELEC) plans which reimburse at a fraction of what they charge you from the grid. While Future has no control over this, they should fully study this new pricing structure and the impact on the expected pay back period. Despite producing more than I use, I haven’t been able to achieve net zero cost on my electric bill. Future modeled my ROI based on an outdated NEM TOU pricing schedule that is no longer available to solar customers. Although I’ve been able to reduce my electricity costs approximately 50%, I was expecting more based on information provided in my consultation with Future. Overall, I’m very pleased with my installation and the service Future has provided. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the market for a renewable energy solution.

We are SO happy to own a solar system and get out from under PG&E. The Future Energy Savers (FES) sales process was transparent & professional. The sales rep met with us in-person at our home & answered our many questions. The process of getting solar plans approved by our HOA had a few hiccups. Things went sideways between one FES employee and our HOA, so we had to run interference to get plans approved. From our perspective, it seemed to be a personality clash. Solar installation was great! The FES installers were pleasant, efficient and knew what they were doing. The system installation looks great on our home -- and the system seems to be working as it should. Thank you Future Energy Savers!

We explored getting solar a few times in the past but decided to go forward with it this year. The battery storage makes a big difference and we rarely draw power during peak hours even during major heatwaves. Briana was great. She clearly described our options and costs, answered all our questions, and was not pushy in her pitch. The installation process went very quickly. There were a few minor issues that Future quickly resolved. There were some problems with SMUD inspections that required replacing a part for our meter that is no longer manufactured. That delayed our final permission to operate for a significant amount of time. Things are operating smoothly now with no complaints.

We are a bit late to the solar game but so glad that we waited. PG&E was gouging us; the temptation to get some panels and start selling back energy (at a fraction of the price that they force us to pay per kw) was strong. Still, my husband kept turning solar salesmen away. Finally, one of them said the magic words: use your own power. Future Energy Savers is the only company partnered with Generac, the people that make it possible for Americans to go off the grid if they want to. Not only does our system power our home, it also has a "smart" component that knows when to store or sell what we don't use. A representative called us to schedule installation within three days of the agreement. They had availability the same week --sooner than we had, actually. The work was well done and passed inspection easily. They even told us which appliances were inefficient which streamlined our usage significantly. You can leave it to increase your property value when you sell, or take the pertinent parts with you and your house will still be listed as "solar ready". Of course, you don't have to buy a battery set up if you don't want to and it will all still work on the normal principles of selling back solar energy. What makes Future Energy Savers stand out is the OPTION to use your own power or even buy more batteries later since it's totally modular. During an extreme heat wave in the Bay Area some of our house's older wiring caused the dining room light not to work. When Future came out to look at it, they diagnosed and fixed it, free of charge, within 30 minutes. I've been able to speak with someone if I had a random question any time I called. My favorite things so far have been bragging rights for my low bills (or credits!) and using the app, which lets me see what's going on in real time so I can strategize about when to do laundry and what tricks will maximize our efficiency day to day. In '23 we tried hard not to use the air conditioning (bill pictured below). The same month this year that wasn't really a concern (pictured below). So the difference in cost could have been even more dramatic.

When looking for solar I went to a local home show and booked appointments with everyone there. Out of about a dozen companies, I selected Future Energy Savers as Breana was knowledgeable about not only her products, but the competitions as well. She was not pushy, and presented the information I needed to determine the size system I needed. I am a techno-nerd, so I did my own calculations, and came up with about the same sized system she proposed. About half the other companies were off my more than 25% from that. Breana is a shining star among her peers. We signed the agreement early in March, 2024, and work began Mid April. Things were great with the prep and installation, completing a ground mount system and having it operational in 3 days. Rob dealt with all the problems from PG&E and the county (nightmare), got production started a little early, and the crew completed the task a day ahead of time. After that, things kind of fell apart. Being a ground mount system, there was about an 80 foot trench, roughly 3 feet deep in my yard, which could not be filled until the final inspection. The installer said Rob should make the appointment tomorrow for final when he finished the work. Mitchell called me a week later to schedule the final. After the final, he said that they had gotten very busy and someone would be out in a week or so to fill in the trench. Not great, if you are too busy to finish a job, why are you starting new ones? By the time one of the guys came out unannounced to start filling in the trench almost 3 weeks later, I had almost fallen into the trench once, and had to rescue a kitten out of it once. 4 days later a crew came out to finish filling in the trench. They moved most of the dirt back in so it was level, leaving a mound about a foot wide and a few inches tall where the dirt was piled from the trenching. The trench soon dipped, as all the dirt was not returned. The also did not move the mounds of dirt left over from drilling the ground mount holes. I ended up borrowing a tractor to finish up the work. Over all, I would consider Future for additional work should it be needed. Dirt work is easy enough to repair, and at the same time, the easiest to get right.

We had the most incredible experience with Future Energy Savers. We had a new roof, new electrical panels and 18 solar panels put on our home. They did the entire project so quickly it kind of shocked me. They did the best job of any company around. I have never met a company who works so hard for their customers. We will be using them for ALL of our future plans. 5 starts all the way. Thanks guys. You are the BEST

The installation crew was very careful and professional while working on the roof and under the house, always willing to answer our questions. The lead electrician was also very helpful and focused on all issues as they came up during the project. Robert in the office was always available, including involving Generac technical folks as necessary. Once up the system started performing as expected. We look forward to continued significant energy savings.

My experience started with a meeting with James. He went in depth about everything from the cost savings, to the system, to financing, as well as my rights as a solar consumer. I felt like I was being educated versus sold. The latter is how I felt during previous conversations regarding solar. Once I made the decision to go forward, I completed the necessary paperwork and submitted the requested documents. I was informed of each next step through out the process. Everyone I have spoken to at Future Energy has been friendly, professional and helpful. The install was done very well. I love the their team takes pride in their work. Down to painting the conduit to match the color of your house. The financing company (Mosaic) that they work is equally as informative. If you take the time to read through the terms, you go over them 3 to 4 different times throughout the contract. On top of that, a rep from Mosaic schedules a call with you to verbally go through all of the terms to make sure you have a clear understanding. I've already started to see my PG&E bill drop by about $130 and that only included about a 2 week period after my install. I can't wait to see my next statement. Who says that about their electric and gas bill?!? What has been most impactful for me so far is having the battery that stores your excess solar power. This is connected to a few primary circuits in my home which keeps all the essentials running during a power outage. The main living areas, internet, kitchen, hall bathroom. I was able to experience the benefit of this just one week after my system was installed. We had a pretty large power outage through a large portion of the city. My neighbor was without power for approximately 2 hours. However, I was not. I was only without for about 2-3 minutes while the system recognized the outage and switched me over to my battery. This is very important to me since I work from home. I happened to be on a work call at the time the power went out. All I had to do is pause momentarily and apologize for the brief technical delay, and on I went with my work. Otherwise, I would have has to reschedule resulting in my work being delayed.

We picked Future after getting quotes from three companies, and appreciating the idea of well-established Generac equipment. And had the misfortune of signing up right before NEM 2.0 ended, which led to a long 6-month delay installing (including city permit delays) and some problems with the initial install crew. Future sent a very experienced follow-up crew that buttoned up the install quite well. Dinging Future for poor communication about what to expect when, but in the end everything was installed and functional exactly as described. Couple of months later, PG&E had a night outage and it was so very nice to have lights and refrigerator still running on battery.

They have an old school, hands on approach which I appreciate and helped me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. We were put into the schedule almost immediately and they installation crew was in and out in 2 days! They were lightning fast and did a great job. We were confirmed with SMUD soon there after and pulling from our solar within a week or two. I would recommend for future home owners.

They were easy to work with and got the process down very quick. I had my solar installed within two weeks and the actual installation was done within a day. Explained to me how everything worked, the benefits of solar (use your bill to deduct what's best for you), and they were also patient with me. Recently had a power outage, I went with 4 M4 batteries and they did the job with a household of 3 adult men.

Every interaction we've had with this company has been top notch. The salesman made a very compelling and informative pitch, install was quick and clean, and follow-up customer service has been excellent. We had a minor delay with the getting the city inspection, and our system threw an error shortly after install, but FES sent us updates on the inspection and fixed the error while they were here with the inspector. Overall, the system's been running great, and I enjoy nerding out tracking out daily import/export of power to the grid through the manufacturer's app . With rising energy costs and instability of the electrical grid due to winter weather, fire danger, or just high usage in the summer, we're looking forward to being able to keep the lights on while saving a bit of money. We couldn't be more happy with the service we've received from Future Energy Savers.

I appreciate the fixed payments, worry-free heating and water, and sustainable benefits for the environment. It is also convenient that I am charging my electric car. The reason I gave 4 4-star review is because of the timeliness response to customer service. It may take multiple attempts to get ahold of someone when we need assistance.

Solar was always on my mind and I always had intentions on going out and exploring what was out there, but time would go by and like almost everyone I was a little too busy and solar never really took precedence. One day in April a solicitor arrived at my door and initially I was going to turn him away, but since they were selling solar I decided to take a listen. I don't remember his name, but he went into detail about what we could potentially save and what equipment they would be using and how it would be installed compared to how some other companies sub their work out (Future Energy Savers do all of the work). This was a great selling point as if I had an issue that was covered under warranty I wouldn't have to reach out to a third-party. Anyway, we decided to move forward and we got our quote which we accepted. A little time went by and I figured that they would get ahold of me when things would start to move and we would get things scheduled. I did receive a call about a month later asking if I would like a quote from the visit that was made. I was a little confused so I let her know that I already received a quote and was already approved for a loan. This sparked confusion across the board and this is when they started to get the ball rolling and a Project Manager got ahold of me. The Project Manager let me know that they would get ahold of me when they can schedule me in and I was okay with that. A few weeks went by and I decided to call the phone number that was posted on the website and I did try to cancel because I felt like I was forgotten about again. Dispatch explained that their vans had been broken into at their business and they were trying to get everything back up and running to how things were before the theft. She ultimately got another person in touch with me and he explained that they would have someone out in early July. I told him that sounds good and I understand about the theft, but would have liked to have been informed that there was a delay to unforeseen circumstances. The first week of July comes and goes and I give the representative a call and he tells me that another person should get ahold of me soon. Eventually he does and he schedules me for the following week which is looking like late July and now we have the ball rolling. The day before he calls and says that they have to reschedule to the end of the week and I say I understand. I work in service and sometimes I have to reschedule. The day before the next scheduled date I get another call and he lets me know that he is sorry, but we have to reschedule. I say okay, but now I'm getting a little unnerved due to the whole process going back to when the solicitor came to my door. Finally at the end of the week he calls me again and I let him know that I would like to cancel everything. I told him I don't feel comfortable moving forward with a company that has forgotten about a customer twice and now has rescheduled an install multiple times. He said he would start the process and apologized. Fast forward about a month. I get a call from Energy Saver's VP of Finance and she asked me why I decided to cancel everything. I described everything and she explained how they have had an issue with a certain individual and they believe they have remedied it moving forward. She sincerely apologized and showed amazing customer service. I once again decided to move forward and after that everything was seamless. The technicians did an outstanding job. They were very reliable and knew what they were doing. After it was commissioned I was extremely happy and glad that I moved forward. The Solar/Battery combination is great to stay off the grid during Peak hours and some days I would only be taking 6-7 kW and giving back up to 25 kW. I'm extremely appreciative of the perseverance and initiative of the team to reach back out because I really did want to get solar. My energy bill from last year to this year showed a dramatic drop due to the install. Solar/Battery combo is the way to go!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Future Energy Savers! They helped with roofing, financing and installation of my system with no surprises and no delays. We had several power outages in my area over the summer but the system they sold me automatically took over and worked seamlessly. It is an easy system to program and monitor. This is an honest company and I would recommend them to anyone!

After interviewing solar companies, I had it narrowed down to two choices. I then spoke with family and friends and decided to hire Future Energy Savers. James, a sales rep and I made an appointment and discussed what, when, where and how the solar panels would be installed as well as the pricing of the equipment and installation. The installation was completed in one day and because I was home, I was able to oversee the work progress and ask questions immediately. One hiccup that happened was the city required a fire inspection that was not considered during the inspection time frame. I also had to wait for the CU's to be installed since they were not on site at installation time. One day I noticed the lights on the inverter and WI-FI were not as they should be, so I called immediately. I happened to return home when Steve was resetting everything. He mentioned the ON/OFF switch was OFF. He said my gardener may have accidentally bumped it. Since this switch is so important to the functioning of the inverter, it would be nice if a cover was part of the installation equipment. I am noticing a great savings on my PG&E bill already.

We were first approached by Future Energy in mid May 2023 and we scheduled a sales representative to come by on 05/11/23. Brianna came to our house and explained the panels, the battery, the costs and the expected timeline. Considering the continued increase in the price per kW in our area, we decided it was a good alternative and Future Energy seemed like a good option. We were offered certain incentives such as a free EV charger and additional discounts if we wanted to participate in their Ambassador program which would involve leaving a review after installation sharing our experience. On May 16, our sales representative, Brianna, came back to bring some papers we needed to sign and get the ball rolling. We paid ⅓ of the total amount a day or two after we signed the papers with Brianna, and had someone come take a look at the house and ensure we met all the prereqs for the solar system. We were then instructed to wait on the town as they could come by to review and blueprint and approve the install. In the meantime, we received an email from PG&E with a document that required our signature. Unfortunately, we were not informed that this would be a required step, so it wasn’t until a few days later that we reached out to Future Energy, we were told that we needed to take action on said email. WIth the number of spam we get, it would’ve been helpful to know we should be on the lookout for something coming from the utility company. On June 26th, the crew came over and installed the entire system, including the EV charger and the backup battery. During the final walkthrough with their team lead, we pointed out that there was some debris left on the ceiling and some cables hanging from the panels, but by that time, the install crew had already left. The white box that functions as a modem did not work, so the team lead let us know that he would have the guys come back later that week to clean up, fix the cables, and bring a new box so that the system would communicate production to the Generac battery and load the information on the Generac app. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Consequently, the system failed the 1st inspection on the week of July 16. Although the system was installed on June 26th, it did not function properly until early to mid August. For lack of technical terms, I can only say that there was an issue with half of the panels and they were not generating energy for the entire month of July. However, Future Energy was able to fix the problem and get the system fully functional. We do not regret the decision we made as far as the system size and the battery backup, as well as the company to do the install. We understand that no company is perfect, so we just sincerely wish Future Energy had taken care of the issues in a more timely manner. Overall, we would choose to do business with them again in the future.

We decided to investigate solar for our home due to the constant SMUD price increases. After several solar product demonstrations and prices, we decided on Future Energy Savers. They were highly recommended and have superior solar products. Generac products are high quality. Future Energy Savers worked with SMUD, our homeowner’s association, and kept us updated on the progress. They are professional, follow through and easy to work with. Future Energy Savers is the best choice for solar!

The system is working fine. We had a few problems with the scheduling but overall we are very pleased. The people we interacted with were knowledgeable and helpful. Pleasant to work with.

In August of 2022 we had our solar installed by Future Energy. The installation was done in one day and they explained and showed us how our system worked. We downloaded the app so we could see our system working. Many times, we had concerns that our system was not working properly, and we called, and left a message and got a response quickly that they checked our system on their end, and it was working properly. During a couple of power outages during the year our battery backup was able to power our home for the time we needed it. We were thankful on the nights of the outages that we could still have lights and our TV on. Unfortunately, due to the rising cost of power we have not saved much during the cold winter or the hot summer days. When we decided to install solar panels, we looked at what we were spending on energy and figured that with the monthly cost of the solar and the cost of power from SUMD we would only increase our energy cost by $50 on the months we use more energy. Again, due to the rise in cost we are paying more for our energy than we ever imagined and the cost of solar has made it difficult for us most months. We do like the system and having our battery backup when it is needed. We do wonder if we should have had more solar due to the money it is costing us for power. It has been difficult to get through to someone at Future to ask these questions. Hopefully we will be able to get a hold of someone and get more answers.

It was time to replace our roof and we were interested in going solar. We contacted Future Energy Saver, and they sent us Brianna. She is wonderful. She educated us about solar and what to expect and the costs. The advantage of having them do both the roof and solar is there is full warranty on both roof and solar. Brianna stuffed out heads with information, and on what to expect, and the steps to do both. The roofers came and they were efficient and professional. They made every effort to keep things clean. The solar was installed shortly after, it was installed in one day. Once again very professional and nice. They answered all our question, and we had many. We decided on a battery backup system. We now have the Electric Car Charger in the garage. It was an amazing experience, and we are very happy. I highly recommend Future Energy Saver. It is fun to lookup SMUD and see how little we owe and look at the Generac Phone Ap to see how our solar is doing.

I knew that the right thing to do was to install Solar at my house. Older house built in 1940. Also, wanted battery back up and had researched Generac. I found James Krohn and Future Energy. The sales process was clear and concise but lots of information to absorb. James took me through the details and took all my questions until the decision was made. The install started a little crazy due to Covid. I was completely impressed when the General Manager called to explain the issue. Once the installation team arrived, it was obvious they were professionals. Wade conducted the install with ease. So surprised that they finished in one day without a hitch. Any follow up questions were handled by the General Manager. Great customer service. Since the installation, my PG&E bill has been cut by over 85%. And I don't have to worry about rolling black outs.
