System down /w no support - FreeVolt "restructuring" business

I had the FreeVolt system installed in December 2020 and at that time everything was great with the company. My system went down the first week of September 2023 and I contacted their team to ask them to review the situation. They replied with a service form for me to fill out - which was odd since I had already provided all the details in the email. I completed the form, returned it, and was told the company was restructuring with at least 30 days until they could address my issues. I've asked multiple times and via multiple channels if there are other companies I can pay to review the system and fix my system. 2 weeks later I still have not received a reply.

Unfulfilled promises BAD BUSINESS

Bart, Mohammed and the rest at Freevolt will lie to your face until they hit the grave. Do yourself a favor and go with another local company. They literally have every excuse in the book, and they will drag their feet as long as they need. Their “technology” isn’t better, its a sales pitch and I wouldnt rely on their panels since they get them from Poland and used that as an excuse to take literally a year to do 4 installations for me. A YEAR! They lied to me to get me to work for them as well, (unfulfilled promises) and now are holding $9500 hostage that they owe me. Thats just bad business. They don’t know what good business is, its not in their brain. What they do to their customers is what they do to their employees, it’s all the same story. You might feel good now about your system, but just wait until they go bankrupt and vanish off the map. Sorry Freevolt I tried holding back this review to allow you to fulfill your promises but nobody will respond to me or solve anything. This review is not biased and is 100% the TRUTH… unfortunately.

Unresponsive

I purchased a house they installed the solar panels on. The most unresponsive company - could have cared less. I don't know how they think word of mouth works, or if they even intend to sell anything to me again.

DO NOT SIGN! RUN!

I'm afraid I'm going to end up in a legal battle to get my project complete. I signed for my solar installation and battery at the end of August 2019 and completed financing papers. I was told that despite living in Northern Palm Springs (windy area), a ballast system (weighted) could be installed instead of drilling the roof. They did not seem to act (even assess my roof) until the end of September 2019. Mohamed promised it would take 3 months to complete installation. If it took longer than 3 months, they would pay my electricity bills. 1) Installation did not occur until the end of June 2020. They claimed personal delays with manufacturer and COVID-19 (fair enough, with COVID). 2) When the installers finally arrived they said "Oh, we can't install a ballast system, we'll have to drill into your roof and hire a roofer" Fine. Do it. Oh...and they lost my finance paperwork. I had to resubmit. 3) Mohamed claimed that due to switching battery manufacturer, plans for the battery would have to be resubmitted. It is September 3, 2020, and I still have no battery AND... 4) I am still not connected to Edison. I submitted yet another bill to Mohamed who said in email, "We paid $1500 for the roofer. I think that's more than fair." To which, I replied that a) I was promised you would cover my electric bills if installation went over and b) the fact that you had to pay for a roofer is an error and a broken promise on your part. 5) Today (9/3/2020) a) I am waiting for my battery to be installed after multiple calls, b) I am waiting to be connected to Edison after over 2 months and am still receiving bill, and c) I have not been reimbursed for my electric due not being connected.
