Exact Solar

Updated and modernized 35 yr old passive solar hot water system which was beginning to fail. Replaced solar holding tank and regular hot water heater. Refurbished and repaired underground system. Great job.

Very easy to work with

Very competent and professional, highly recommended, would not hesitate to do future work with this supplier. The applicable purchase incentives were: Federal tax credit for home energy improvements State sales tax exclusion for home energy improvements Local property value increase exclusion for home energy improvements I`m not sure I would have proceeded without the above incentives

Work done quickly and professionally. A small problem after the installation was handled quickly.

Considering a pv system now. Work was done quickly and in a manner that was clean and flexible.

Mark Bortman was aware of the company that installed the non functioning system. In assessing the system he was clear on why it hadn`t been working and how he could get it working properly. When he finished the work he provided diagrams as to what he found as to what he changed. The pressure was higher when he finished than it had been with the original installation which would translate into a better working system. I did not purchase a system. I had an existing system repaired.

I was so pleased with how quickly the job was completed and the level of professionalism by Mark and the crew. I had met with other solar providers prior to contracting Exact Solar, and once I spoke with Mark I knew this was the company that I needed to go with!

Exact Solar went above and beyond in every aspect of their work. Corrections to the building permit were not due to lack of contractor underestanding or effort, rather they were due to being one of the first such systems installed residentially in the jurisdiction. They were more so additional information to educate the jurisdiction than corrections.

Exact Solar is/was, hands down, the best contractor that we`ve had work on our house. Mark is extremely easy to work with and is the most responsive professional we`ve dealt with. Everything from the pre-sales to post-sales work was an outstanding, positive experience. I would (and have) talk to and recommend Exact Solar to anyone looking for this type of professional services. This is another reason I loved working with Mark. He pushed on our behalf with the state and the inspectors to get our rebate processed and the system certification completed. He went above and beyond what was expected of him.

The only cost variable was due to the township requiring an unexpected engineering letter about the strength of the roof. Mark was great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone.

We love Exact Solar and would use them again. The company and its personnel are extremely knowledgeable and professional.
