Cosmo Solaris

I had an extremely negative experience with Cosmos Solaris, and I would strongly caution anyone considering them. What was initially presented to me felt like a classic bait-and-switch. I agreed to move forward based on the use of higher-quality equipment—specifically REC solar panels and a Tesla battery. However, without proper transparency or justification, this was changed to Canadian Solar panels and an EG4 battery system. That is not what was originally agreed upon, and it significantly undermined my trust in the company from the start. The timeline was equally unacceptable. The project dragged on for nearly a full year to complete what should have been a straightforward solar panel and battery backup installation. Even worse, after all that time, I discovered the system was not installed or configured properly, creating ongoing issues instead of the reliable setup I was promised. Customer service was one of the worst aspects of this entire experience. Communication was poor throughout, but once they received full payment, it became nearly nonexistent. Response times slowed to a crawl, and getting any meaningful support or accountability was incredibly frustrating. Overall, this was an exhausting and disappointing process. Between the product substitution, excessive delays, improper installation, and lack of post-payment support, I cannot recommend Cosmos Solaris to anyone looking for a dependable solar provider.

Install went great. After one year my Production was off by - 25 Percent. Called to get it fixed and Crickets! They agreed it was not acceptable but its been 4 months and now they dont even pick up the phone, straight to voicemail. Keep in mind their contract states if production is lower than quoted they will add panels to fix...........

I signed a contract with Cosmos Solaris in July 2025. In December of 2025, after 5 months of me having to continually reach out to them for status of project the system was installed. It is now March 2026. The system is not functioning per contract. I have tried to reach out to Cosmos Solaris on so many occasions to get help with no success. I have been trying to get Cosmos Solaris to send a service technician to my house for troubleshooting/remedy to problem with no success. All Cosmos Solaris does is ghost my calls and text. To make matters worse, I also need to have a Final Inspection of installation done by city/county. Cosmos Solaris continually states they are waiting for Permit. After 2.5 months I should already have had my final inspection completed and the permit signed off as approved. To date no help from Cosmos Solaris. I am totally dissatisfied with the unprofessional ethics, performance and the lack of follow up that Cosmos Solaris has shown. It has been weeks and months that they have had to remedy any issues on my project. The pure lack of ethic and constant ghosting by their representative is completely unprofessional. Stay away from this company. One of the worse experiences I have encountered.

In late October, after a delay beyond my control, I obtained 3 bids for a solar system in an attempt to meet the Dec 31 tax credit deadline. I'm an engineer with professional registration in 11 states, and have led many major projects around the world; I did not really believe it could be done. Sierra, the lead contact with CosmoSolaris, provided the most complete bid with high-quality equipment at a reasonable cost. Sierra was very pleasant to work with, and extremely prompt in replying to my requests and possible options. She was very knowledgeable and cognizant of the need for an efficient time schedule. She scheduled the site inspector for the next day, a Saturday. After a couple of discussions regarding less than optimum roof angles and winter tree shading with Martin, the lead designer and Project Manager, the revised model design was completed. I agreed with Sierra on the Final Agreement (she gave, and kept her word on a key final term that I was concerned with), and the install race was on. Cosmo submitted the final designs and obtained County permit approval extremely quickly (from experience, I know that is not always easy), and scheduled installation. I quickly replaced the marginal roof section, and their team installed the entire system on one mid December day, dodging snow and freezing temperatures elsewhere in the East. I can just imagine the challenges the Cosmo teams had with numerous system installs in progress simultaneously, all with the same deadline, the two major holidays, and the lousy polar vortex weather occurring across the country. The final County electrical inspection took literally one minute, since the high-quality install was evident, and the County's "Final Passed" document and the verification from Martin were both in my inbox in less than a half hour. The deadline was easily met! A couple days later (not the anticipated month), the utility granted approval to activate the system. I threw the switch on the morning of Dec 31! It has been interesting and exciting watching the blue graph of the Enphase app showing power generation, even on cloudy days! I don't know all the players on the Cosmo team, but the behind the scenes organization and efficiency was obvious, as the County, Utility, Enphase software, PJM, GATS, accounting, and tax form paperwork and approvals seem to just appear in my inbox - almost completely filled out with minimal for me to do. There are only a couple remaining minor tasks to complete. I am very happy to have become my own little home power plant, with top-of-the-line panels and microinverters, all designed and installed in record time. CosmoSolaris was up for the challenge and met the tax deadline. Thank you all !

Installers worked efficiently and were very knowledgeable. They made sure everything was clean and neat and were very easy to work with.

We just got our solar panel installation completed, and we are very pleased with the entire process. Cosmo Solaris offered a competitive system price--- AND they answered ALL my 100’s of questions BEFORE I signed on with them…! Sierra was my main point of contact, and she professionally shepherded us through the process from start to finish. Jeff was my project manager, and he kept me informed on all the sub-contractors that came through on the project. I needed a new roof, and they found me a high-quality, experienced roofing group that did a great job and at a very reasonable price. I am now able to monitor my solar panel’s energy output via a phone app--- And I’m looking for to the long summer days, where my panels will be earning me major solar energy credits…!

We had Cosmo install solar panels on our small church. We got three bids, and Cosmo's was the lowest. Cosmo included a warranty from Align Solar that would take effect in case they go out of business, which we found a compelling argument for choosing them. The other firms did not offer such a warranty. Cosmo was easy to work with, and our contacts, Hassan and John, always promptly responded to our questions, even on weekends. The installation was done within the timeframe they guaranteed, and took only about 6 hours to complete. The installation looks clean and neat. We have passed our building and electrical inspections and are awaiting FERC certification before we can begin operating.

We recently used Solaris to install our solar panels. Installation went fine they took care of the design, paperwork, approvals, visits on a timely fashion. I was impressed by their communication. Great shout out to Sierra and Alex to take care of the project for us. I am excited to wait and see the performance. Great work so far.

My experience with Cosmo Solaris was ideal. Sierra was very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. They have a 70 day signing to installation guarantee which was why I went with them and I'm glad I did!

I wanted to get a system installed but decided to do a little research. I found that they have been declared fraudsters by a Texas court. WNK associates is the parent company of Cosmo Solaris. They were found guilty of stealing and trafficking passwords, fraud and selling non-existent services. I would refrain from sharing any debit card numbers with this company. I took a long time to explore solar and ultimately decided not to move forward. Ozman from Cosmo Solaris was fantastic to work with during the sales process and by far had the best communication skills of anyone out there. The problem was on my end, not wanting to finance the system at the current rates, but if my personal situation was different, I would have not hesitated to move forward with Cosmo Solaris. In fact, I told him to hold on to my bid just in case anything changes. I highly recommend this company for straightforward, honest pricing, and Ozman directly, who really knows his product.

If you’re looking for a home solar system, I cannot recommend Cosmo Solaris highly enough. We used Energy Sage to help us gather quotes and figure out how to analyze them on an apples-to-apples basis. My wife and I initially wanted to just partially replace our grid purchased electrical energy to help reduce our carbon footprint. But when we ran the numbers over a 15-year time frame, it didn’t make financial sense for us. Knowing that energy costs will just keep going up, the cost of a smaller, partial system wasn’t viable. We went back to the two best quotes that we had received and spoke with their sales reps. Hassan at Cosmo Solaris was just awesome. We asked him, how close to 100% energy replacement can you get us for no more than “X” number of dollars? We asked the other company the same question and gave them the same cost limit. Hassan came back with a proposal for 100% replacement at our budget—18.9 kW system with guaranteed 26,600 KWh annual production minimum. the other company’s answer was 78%. I’m a retired engineer so I dug deep into Cosmo Solaris’ quote and examined the engineering documents and researched the parts they proposed (panels, rails/mounts, microinverters, etc.). Their proposal did not cut any corners; everything was top of the line. Cosmo Solaris included purchasing a 3rd party 30-year warranty insurance on every part and the labor for the whole system. Other companies touted their own warranty and the various parts manufacturer’s warranties. Well, I know from hard experience, a warranty is only good for as long as that company remains in business. With Cosmo Solaris offering a 3rd party warranty from an insurance company, if anything goes wrong for the next 30 years and Cosmo Solaris or any of the various parts manufacturers go out of business, we’re still fully covered, the insurance will pay for equivalent parts and pay for labor. Awesome peace of mind. After signing the contract, Cosmo Solaris earned top marks for communication (thank you Martin!) and making good on all promises. The system was installed on time (actually finished a little early), inspection went smoothly because everything was done correctly, and when we got final approval from our grid provider, my wife and I threw the switch together to go live! Energy Sage helped us evaluate the financial side very well, in our case our breakeven will be in about six years (due to the unusually high cost of energy where we live) since we purchased outright and thus no interest to pay. Yes, there is Present Cost of Money and Lost Opportunity cost if you go that deep, however that is all more than offset by the 30% Federal Tax rebate and the state credits (SRECs-which Cosmo Solaris guaranteed for 15 years). An advisor at Energy Sage compared our system to buying a six-year annuity, once we’re past that six-year breakeven point our Cosmo Solaris system will pay thousands of dollars every year in “dividends” providing free energy for 30+ years! Thank you, Cosmo Solaris and Energy Sage.

I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to work with Ozman for this proposal. He was very detailed, answered all my questions and was a true professional. I felt confident in the process and very knowledgeable after speaking with him. My proposal included quality panels, inverts and materials at a very reasonable price when compared to other companies and I checked a lot of places!

I am so pleased with my solar panels from Cosmo Solaris! Mike and Ozman were so patient and helpful in helping me design a small enough system to offset my utility bill without taking on a massive debt. Many other solar companies I researched had much larger minimum requirements for systems to include installation without requiring me to install it myself. The installation team at SunRay Solar were super friendly and knowledgeable. I haven't set up the app to monitor my production yet since I'm awaiting the Wi-Fi antenna I need, but it should be here any day now and I will start seeing all the benefits of our efforts. Overall this long-term investment in reducing my energy bills and being ready for an outage has been an excellent choice. I can't wait to see my first low utility bill!

Ozman had provided the best service. He was on top of everything and provided a honest answers to all our questions. We had one issue arise during the process and he jumped in and got the right people on the phone to resolve things in a day. I would recommend him to friends and family if they go solar.

Cosmo Solaris installed an 8 kW rooftop solar array on my townhouse in MD. It was a very smooth process working with them. They took care of everything, including a pre-design inspection, structural review, design, and permitting. The entire installation was completed in one day, the inspection and getting the PTO went smoothly, then they helped with setting up the SREC trading account. The system was also online in just under 10 weeks from contract signing, as was their guarantee! I am happy with my choice to use Cosmo Solaris and would recommend them to anyone!

I received quotes from more then 5 different solar companies just for piece of mind knowing i received a fair deal for my investment. My first contact was with Zayn my salesman which was an awesome experience, he never pressured or talked badly about other solar companies which i can say was pretty common with the others I talked with. Zayn was very honest and trustworthily and answered all my questions which i had many. I really liked that Comos offered a 3rd party warranty, production and SREC income guarantee. Also what was really impressive was that after 10 weeks of signing contract that if your system was not installed, Comos will pay your power and loan payment until system was up and producing power. My project Manager was Tony Wilson which also was an awesome experience and communication was pretty seamless. Since my system was 400 foot away from my house we had several unique problems that Tony and I had to work through which was done in a very professional and fair manner. Comos Solaris Exceeded my Expectations and i can say that you have a lot of different solar companies in the market place but you will not go wrong choosing Comos Solaris.

I spent a few months researching solar and getting quotes, equipment, mounting, and warranty information. Ozman Emery from Cosmo Solaris was very professional, patient, and always receptive to questions. While I did not choose Cosmo Solaris as my solar system provider, I can't fault Ozman's method of engagement and willingness to be flexible and responsive to my requests. I'd be happy to work with him again on another project.

This review will be a bit lengthy, but hopefully it will be helpful. TL;DR version: I'm extremely pleased with Cosmo Solaris and would very highly recommend them. The lengthier version is that while the whole process wasn't perfect, it was really good. I'll start with examples of how the process wasn't perfect, but then also explain the ways Cosmo Solaris was amazing. One, they had to dig a ditch between my detached garage and my house to run wires. I ended up having to fill it back in. Not perfect, but that was how the wire needed to be run and filling it in wasn't that bad. We were also left with a huge box of garbage once they were done installing it that we're still working on getting rid of. Again, not perfect. But having a big box of garbage comes with the territory of having a bunch of solar panels delivered and installed. And we called our county to come pick it up and the county said they couldn't take it, which I don't blame Cosmo Solaris for. And they said they would handle the SRECs, but it turns out I have to input the energy readings for it. A little annoying, but it's only once a month and the app lets you look at the monthly numbers super easily. So not perfect, but it's okay. Plus, there are ways they went above and beyond. For one, I asked whether they could work with a new financing company to see if we could get a lower interest rate. They didn't just say no, but provided a detailed account of what had occurred with this other company and why they couldn't with with them. Also, their contract and willingness to answer my concerns left me feeling very comfortable working with them. Not only did they promise a minimum amount of power produced in the contest itself, but also answered my questions in writing about what would happen if or solar system didn't meet the contracted amount. Another way they went above and beyond was that they actually ended up providing us with better panels than originally contracted at no extra charge. They then installed all the panels really securely and well. (This is actually saying someone, because or roof is very complicated and we don't have an attic so they had to run all the wiring externally.) And lastly, although we're only two months in, the energy production is actually outperforming the contracted amount. So it system is doing better than promised or projected. So, to recap, I very highly recommend Cosmo Solaris.

Our Energy consultant was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process to us. They were always happy to answer any questions we had and make any adjustments that we requested in the quotation. Communication was on a timely basis. They offered us top-rated equipment at a reasonable price. They also offer multiple warranties.

I have been working with Ozman Emery for quite a few months for his help in choosing the right solar panels (REC high efficiency) and inverters for my Gaithersburg townhouse. He has been honest and exceptionally patient with me as we have worked together to convince my skeptical wife that we can afford the project and save money on our growing PEPCO bills, obtain the maximum federal and state rebates - and from PEPCO, I believe - while paying back our investment in the least amount of time. He has not tried to upsell me and in fact has convinced me that a battery added to our system would not be cost-effective. Truly the sign of an honest individual. Recently had a 28 panel solar system installed onto my home by Cosmo Solaris. The process was fairly easy as straight forward. There was a brief delay during the interconnection process, but it was quickly resolved, and the project moved forward. We were referred by a neighbor and are pleased with the overall quality of everything.

We had a positive experience with Cosmo Solaris. (1) Cosmo has a great sales team and knowledgeable experts who could easily pivot from sales questions to highly technical questions. Kudos to Mike, Osman, Taha, and Ryan. They we helpful, professional and never pressured me. (2) After long permitting delays, the team was able to schedule and execute the installation very quickly before the end of 2024. This allowed me to use the federal tax credit when I file my taxes in 2025 instead of waiting another year. (3) In accordance with the contract, Cosmo agreed to pay for my utility bills once the 70-day installation window had passed (4) They offered to send a contractor to patch the basement wall after the solar installation was complete. That was above and beyond what I expected. (When plumber comes, they don't patch anything) (5) When the PV panel we agreed upon was discontinued before the installation, Cosmo upgraded to the newer model without any fuss.

After dealing with h so many solar cell monies cold calling me to sell “cheap” solar, I knew I wouldn’t deal with anyone cold calling. I had been researching on my own through EnergySage. Cosmo Solaris was highly recommended, so I gave them a call. They don’t do cold calling! We discussed a system for my house. They didn’t try to upsell, even talked me out of stuff I thought I wanted (battery backup) that would have been too expensive for no benefit (10-15kWh for $7k). Zayn was outstanding on getting the system together and installers out. Top end equipment and parts, but an amazingly low price with a 30 year warranty. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

I can't say enough about my experience with Cosmo. They were on top of everything from day one. I wanted to be sure to have our system installed by the end of the year and they were on the phone with our electric company everyday, multiple times a day, to make sure it was going to get done in time. Everything was done in time and I have not had a single issue. The installers were supper nice and i felt very comfortable with them in the house. Cosmo has followed up to make sure everything is as it should be even after everything was done. Can't recommend them enough!!
