Great Experience

Working with Jim and his crew was a pleasure. All were professional, knowledgeable and personable. I had several estimates and Celestial Solar Innovations proposal was thorough and very competitive. He took the time to explain everything and unlike other companies applied no sales pressure or misleading tactics. I was very happy to do business with a local company instead of a regional sales office. I appreciated that he and the crew provided excellent communication and all appointments and installations were all on time. Jim managed the entire application and installation process – there were no surprises or extras. Everything went much quicker than I expected and I am more than pleased with the final result. Pretty amazing experience

Working with Jim Reilly at CSI was a great experience. I initially met with him as well as two other possible vendors I was considering after reviewing the quotes that I got from Energy Sage. Jim was the most responsive to and patient with all my questions, and his answers were easily understood. Once I made the decision to go with CSI, he always met or beat all time commitments with respect to his filing different applications, permits, etc. I have no hesitancy recommending CSI, and if you use them, trust that you will have as positive experience as I did.

EXCELLENT WORK AND SERVICE

I HIGHLY recommend Celestial Solar for it's outstanding service and knowledge. I am very happy with my decision to select them for my Solar Project. After evaluating and considering 6 different Solar Companies, I stumbled on Celestial Solar by accident from a recommendation from of all people my barber(who is a trusted friend for years) that had expressed that one of his other clients was very satisfied with his recent Solar Installation. Not only was Celestial's quote competitive to the companies I had evaluated, after giving them serious consideration and after doing my HOMEWORK, the competitors wanted to price match. Which is now funny to me looking back, when I could see that I was merely a number and not truly valued to most of those companies. Jim and his crew where not only professional, Jim is the most responsive individual I have met in a long time. He actually called me on several occasions to see if I had ANY concerns. He answer EVERY email or CALL PROMPTLY. This shows me that he values his clients business. I can write on and on but the bottom line is that I am very happy with my decision! Celestial Solar is a good example of how companies should provide service no matter how large or small the job. As Celestial Solar Innovation continues to grow, the challenge will be can he continue to provide this level of service. I am confident that he will.

Knowing that I would be replacing my roof this Spring, I decided to look into Solar. I’m never one to purchase anything that costs more than $20 without doing some sort of research and price shopping, so I educated myself as much as I could before scheduling proposals. I sat through proposals from 2 large National companies and 1 large MD-based company before a friend caught wind of my research and insisted that I give Celestial Solar Innovations and Jim Reilly a call. I was still undecided between leasing and purchasing at the time, and Jim helped me make an educated decision based on facts and projections with no pressure. Jim professionally and knowledgeably fielded my 4 million questions (approximate number), and was able to make ‘apples to apples’ comparisons with the other companies that ended up making my decision to go with Celestial an easy one. There was no ‘handoff’ from salesman to customer rep throughout the permitting, paperwork and installation process, which was very reassuring, and every contractor that hand a hand in the project was professional and considerate. The project stuck to the proposed timetable, and now that we’ve been ‘live’ for 2 months, the performance has lived up to expectations. I would highly recommend Celestial Solar Innovations.

Great system, beautiful work

Jim Reilly and his gang did a wonderful job designing and installing the system for my house. Everything went as planned and scheduled. I am very happy with the result. Local firms are always a better choice than national outfits and Jim is an excellent example of why that is so.

Since I am an engineer it is my nature to spend countless hours of research and spreadsheets before I come to a decision on any investment for my family. In the case of solar this was no different. The numbers make sense with the tax credit and state rebate so my family and I decided to make the plunge. The next step of the process began, which entailed screening the many solar companies in the area for the one that would serve our needs best. It became very clear that Celestial Innovations was the right choice. Jim Reilly gave a very thorough presentation and answered all of the detailed questions I had encountered. He was professional throughout the entire process and never put on the pressure to sign (like many of the hard sale pitches we encountered). He is also not looking to take advantage of folks by trying to sell them on leasing programs or power purchase agreements, where the customer does not receive the Federal and State incentives. Not only was the customer service outstanding from start to finish, but the pricing and warranties were very competitive. I cannot begin to emphasize enough how accommodating Jim was from quoting out the many different panels I was interested in to working around my busy schedule so that I could be available during the install. Unlike other companies where the salesman hands you off, Jim was our contact throughout the entire process. The county permit, utility paperwork and HOA application were handled by Celestial making the process very simple. In addition to the excellent customer Jim’s installation team was very professional, answering any questions or concerns I had. Now that our solar is live, we couldn't be happier with the performance of the system. The installers did a great job taking pride in the appearance of the array. Initially I was concerned about how the conduit would look but everything is very clean. We highly recommend Celestial Solar Innovations, not only for their outstanding service but for their competitive pricing.

From a Real Test to the Best!

Celestial Solar Innovations and President Jim Reilly are the real deal! My initial experience with another solar installer turned into a three month nightmare of broken promises, misinformation and lack of communication. Jim and the Celestial Solar team were the complete opposite. Very professional and proactive from the initial contact to the design and build stage through the permitting and final approval process. Often, Jim had already responded to the county permitting office and local utilities questions before I even saw the email. I wish I had started my Solar journey with Celestial Solar but then I wouldn't appreciate the work they did as much as I do. If you are looking for a good quality, reasonably priced, honest Solar installer stop right here!

Great Job!!

When I got interested in solar energy I researched for days on the web and concluded it would save me money big time. Armed with basic knowledge I got five local solar companies to provide me bids for the purchase of a 12,000 KWH/year system. In all cases, a company representative came to my home and gave a presentation along with a cost estimate. The clear winner on all levels was Celestial solar innovations. Mr. Jim Reilly, the company owner, developed an extremely professional presentation and had the lowest price by several thousand dollars. I signed a contract with Celestial. Once the installation plan was approved, the Celestial installing team came to my house. Within 3 days the team completed the installation of 41 solar panels and all supporting info structure. The system was then tested and worked as designed. I was very impressed with how professional the installing team was and how much pride they put into the job. I am particularly pleased that I chose Celestial as my solar contractor. I will recommend Celestial to anyone thinking about going solar.

Amazing Service

Celestial Solar Innovations provided many several different solar equipment options to choose from for the solar panel installation on the roof of my house. After making my selections, Celestial Solar provided the estimate, contract, payment invoices, and their contact information. Celestial Solar coordinated the solar panel hardware installation, applied for the building permits, scheduled the Baltimore county inspection, scheduled the monitoring equipment installation, and provided support throughout the entire process. Celestial Solar made themselves available for any questions or concerns, and responded immediately to all contacts, phone calls, emails, and voice mails, text messages. Celestial Solar also responded to calls over the weekend. The process from start to finishes went very well. I first met Jim Reilly in mid July 2014 during my vendor selection process. Jim was the most professional of the three candidates that I interviewed at my house. His use of technology in his presentation included a tablet which contained soft copies of estimates, energy savings calculations, technical specifications from manufacturers, and color pictures of solar panels. Celestials Solar did everything that Jim said they would do: They charged only what they said they would charge. They scheduled the installation on the agreed upon target date. They pulled the necessary permits to install on my house. They scheduled the county inspection of the Solar panel installation. They completed all work listed in the installation contract. They provide 24/7 electronic monitoring of the solar panel productivity. They responded immediately to all questions and concerns. I recommend Celestial Solar Innovations as a reliable manager and installer of residential solar panels. I do not have any don't to list for this contractor. My solar panel system is producing clean energy at or beyond the level.

We were thinking about going solar for almost two years but delayed because it was a big investment and we never seem to convince ourselves that we had done enough research. After getting quotes from several companies, we decided to go with Celestial Solar Innovations. Jim Reilly, Owner of the company, and Joe Reilly (Solar Consultant) are very professional and knowledgeable for the work they do. They answered all the questions we had. We did our homework and did enough research on products and provider. It took only a few hours on the internet to learn about solar panels in general and to get a handle on what we would actually be purchasing and paying for. We decided to have custom designed system of our choice. We asked several big companies for the system we wanted; but all of the big companies were mainly focused on one brand and were not able to custom design the combination we were looking for. We wanted to have Solar World Panels (reason they are USA made), and SolarEdge inverter and Solaredge optimizer combination. Celestial Solar Innovations worked with us and gave us competitive price for the system. They handled all the permits and paperwork. They have been professional, highly skilled and respectful of our needs as a customer. To us they are one of the best companies we have dealt with. Installation of the solar panels began in early July 2015, and the system was totally up and running by August 25, 2015. Now we only wish for a sunny day!! no rain no clouds. We love watching the Netmeter run backwards and watching our electricity bill going down. We highly recommend Celestial Solar Innovations for Solar System Projects.

Our system is now live and we couldn't be happier. Jim took the time to explain the full process, answer our many questions and find a creative solution that made solar an option for us. Most companies simply looked at a satellite image of our home and the quotes we received ranged from 6 to 44 panels meaning the project wouldn't make sense financially, or that we would have violated all of the County building codes. Celestial found a creative solution when the other companies would only look at a "typical" installation. The level of professionalism we experienced was as good as any top company I have ever dealt with and everything has been delivered as expected and agreed. The help with the paperwork for our grants and SREC setup has also been exceptional. We highly recommend Celestial Solar.

Very satisfied

Work was completed in a timely manner. Workmen were very professional--answering all of my questions and concerns. Changes in design (my ideas) were done without any conflict and the final product was just what I want. Materials were current versions--you should be careful if you deal with any installers about this. Efficiency and appearance will vary GREATLY. VERY responsive to all concerns over the months that we were working together on this project. Permits and tax credit forms were submitted as promised. Highly recommend Jim and his team.

Great Company

We looked into several different solar companies before selecting Celestial Solar Innovations to install our solar panels. Celestial Solar ended up having the best price for the best quality product. The panels were American made and more up to date and efficient than comparable companies that we researched/met with. We were very happy with the owner, Jim Reilly. He seemed to really be invested in his company and stood by his products. He was always available to answer any questions and gave answers to our satisfaction. He walked us through every step of the process, introduced us to the installers and made sure that we were satisfied throughout the whole process. He tried to make everything as easy as possible for us; including working with our home owners association, pulling permits, final inspection and working with our electric company to make sure everything was up to date and compatible with our new system. We, as well as Celestial Solar are able to monitor our system 24/7 to make sure everything is working properly and allows us to see a visual of our daily solar output. Overall, I think we made a great choice. I would highly recommend choosing a smaller, local company over a larger, more corporate one. It feels good for a company to make our family feel like a priority rather than just a number. We would highly recommend Celestial Solar Innovations for your solar panel needs.
