Solar install
Highly recommend Cascade Solar. The Cascade reps that came to my home for the initial walkthrough were by far the least sales-pitchy and the most helpful of the three companies we spoke with, and the installation cost was the least expensive by quite a bit. Installation was smooth, even with a few adjustments to the plans along the way. We just had our first whole month with our new system and enjoyed a $10 electric bill. Definitely give Cascade a look if you're pursuing solar for your home!

I recently had my second solar system installed by Cascade Solar, and once again, they delivered an outstanding experience. Great experience with the entire process
We had a great experience with David and the Cascade Solar team. They came recommended by our neighbors who used them and who found their quote to be the most competitive of multiple options. David has been responsive from the initial consultation through installation and checking in to make sure all has been going smoothly. We started producing in December and by mid-May our 18 panels have produced enough to fully offset our electrical usage for the year including charging the EV that I use to commute and go skiing (~20,000 miles/year). David was quick to address any issues that came up during the installation process, and made all of the paperwork for rebates and tax credits easy.

Willingness to see project through as I envisioned
After Tesla (when they were still offering to install Powerwalls in Portland) balked at adding a Powerwall 3 inside my garage due to proximity to my property line, Cascade Solar was willing and able to get it approved and installed in my preferred location! Once the Powerwall 3 was available, they were able to quickly get it installed and up and running! It's been great! I would hire them again!

Best value for a 10.5kW system and 3 x PW3s
We looked at three solar vendors to design and install solar panels and Powerwalls. One we considered was Tesla direct. Tesla direct was the least expensive of all vendor proposals, by quite a bit. However, Tesla's local design knowledge (setbacks) wasn't good. The max they would install was an 8kW system, and that was using 4 different roof planes. Cascade was the best value. They designed/installed a 10.5kW system using two planes and installed 3 x Powerwall3s. Great communication, from pre-sales all the way through PTO, and beyond.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Cascade solar was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. After getting expensive quotes from very aggressive, pushy large solar companies I got a recommendation from a friend in an environmental group I work with about Cascade Solar, a small local group. I could not be happier with their work. Tom Crowe worked up the plan for the panels. He is extremely knowledgeable, answering all our questions in great detail. Nicole Nicholls handled all the paperwork for permits and jumped through all the administrative hoops of incentive applications to the Energy trust of Oregon and the Oregon Department of Energy which saved us thousands of dollars. David Nicholls and his crew did a flawless installation. The Crew was very professional and friendly. They did an EXCELLENT job installing our home solar system. The installation was in June. Our PGE bill has been 15 dollars a months since. Communication excellent and timely throughout. I just cannot recommend them more highly

Professional, honest and reliable
I’m not sure what else you could ask for. Cascade Solar was an absolute pleasure to work with. They answered all my questions, were totally transparent about all the costs, and never pressured me. The installation was super quick and easy, and they even helped me connect with the utility. I wish I had done this sooner!
