California State Development

California State Development was a pleasure to work with. We were very particular on where we wanted the panels to be installed. No other company was able to figure out an efficient way to arrange the panels while satisfying our constraints. But Vloddy and his team were able to find an innovative solution that is most efficient (all south facing panels) and is virtually invisible from the street. Their quote for our 8.16kW system was the most competitive, even compared to Tesla, and we did not sacrifice on equipment or workmanship. They are experts at the whole process -- from planning, to permitting, to install and PTO. We have no regrets about going with California State Development.

California State Development is HORRIBLE. Please save yourself the headaches and go with a different company. My project is still not done and it's been 10 months after the "expected completion date." Excuse after excuse and no one returns my calls. City inspector had to come out 5-6 times to finally pass inspection. How is that possible? Aren't you a professional company, you should know what it needs to pass on first try. They left a big hole on my wall and haven't followed up on when they will fix it. They broke a couple roof tiles when installing the panels. I had to call Luis Hidalgo a good 10 times before he sent someone out. Luis had been terrible as well, always has an excuse on why he can't answer the phone and doesn't bother calling back. He was very attentive initially when he gave the proposal but soon as I signed he ghosted me. Always gave me some excuse on why it's taking so long and why he can't answer the phone. Highly regret going with these guys, hopefully this reviews saves someone from the headaches.
