Big Dog Solar Energy

Great company, Great experience, Great value

We have noticed solar popping up all around us and decided to check it out after speaking with one of the sales reps that stopped by when they were installing down the street. We were pleased to see how obtainable switching to solar actually is. Our whole process from start to finish has been great. We are really pleased with how the panels look after being installed and even happier that we can see the production breakdown through the monitoring app. Our sales consult was very helpful throughout the whole process and really took the time to make sure we understood everything and were extremely patient and accommodating to my ever so detailed (and picky) husband. Also, after talking to a few other companies we realized that we got a really good price. Our friends got a slightly smaller system then we did and theh paid thousands more and had problems with the install. Overall we are very pleased with Big Dog and would absolutely recommend them.

Unsafe and Disorganized

I wouldnt go through them. Problems with the sales folks. Damage has occured. Tools left. Plus they dont wear harnesses. Just seems like a business that isnt ready.

Highly Recommend these Guys

Love this Solar Company, they had great prices, and their installers were very friendly. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job very quickly and clean.

Monitoring is awesome

Had the system up and running for sometime when we decided to connect monitoring and fiddle with it. Really enjoy the use of it and the ability to track usage and production. Crew was helpful and professional at time of install, Idaho Power meter tech was very pleasant as well when he came to switch our meter just a week after inspection.

Dont go through them

I wouldn't go through them. Receptionist are nice but everyone could care less about you or your energy saving goals. They wouldn't apply a discount from farm bureau to the loan which could have saved us interest. The contract states our payments would start a month today it came out today no one wants to make it right. The solar wasn't completed in a timely manner I loved the idea of solar but now I would rather just cough up the money to rocky mountain power. Which by the way is 40 dollars less than my solar bill. Were not the only ones unhappy with this company.

Mr. Workman

Big Dog was very helpful in, not only installing my solar, but also answering my many questions. Only problem is that now I have all my friends asking about my solar panels.
