Buyer Beware, they are NOT fast!

Though they were fast? Think again. It’s been 6 months since I signed their contract. No solar panels yet. Not even a scheduled date.. Their salesman told us everything we wanted to hear, rest of the company acts like they don’t know what they are doing. Took them 5 months so provide a basic plan that showed them complete in 9 weeks. Week 22 they finally installed the new breaker panel. Let me tell you, Quality is NOT job ONE!! They weren’t even going to caulk it to the wall until I called them out on it. I’m pretty sure I can do a better job caulking with my eyes closed. I’m really afraid of what the Solar Panel installation is going to look like. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!

Our experience with AZ Sun Services has been great!

Every year saw an increase in our monthly electric bills. We got tired of paying so much every month. So, in July 2019, we decided to “go solar”. We knew it would be a big challenge and a significant expense. We received several offers for the project and started checking out the companies. AZ Sun Services was very competitive and wasn’t the cheapest bid, but after coming to our house to measure and check out the facility, their representative was so knowledgeable and had several very good suggestions. They explained everything in detail, even the tremendous tax write-off we could claim when filing our taxes. Because they were so thorough, and answered all our questions, we decided to go with AZ Sun Services. Now after six months, we are thrilled with the results! We have not had an electric bill since our solar panels have been installed. In fact, we have had a monthly credit. In January 2020, after having solar for only four months, we received a check from APS for $144.81! AZ Sun Services service has been as good as any company we have ever dealt with. Using AZ Sun Services has been a very pleasant experience for us, and highly recommend them!

If you're thinking about solar please call AZ Sun Services. They were the most professional and honest folks we've done business with in AZ. From sales to installation and great follow up service after the system was turned on was perfect. We had a small problem with APS because the plans were not modified to show a minor change but was corrected and reinspected in about a weeks time and everything passed. What I really appreciated was how neat and tidy they left our property particularly around the electrical pedestal that had to be upgraded. Thanks guys, for a job that looks the way it should. Long process, but extremely responsive and clear all along the w

As my title suggests, going solar takes quite a while with all the invested parties. Through every stage of this process, John Campbell, with AZ Sun Services, has done an amazing job answering my questions and educating me about solar without constantly trying to push me into a sale. His patience and clarity was a breath of fresh air compared to other quotes and sales calls I got from other solar companies. If you are going solar, you need to at least get a quote from these guys! Terrific experience.

Great experience from beginning to end

Nathan and his team did an amazing job from start to finish and beyond. They were available to answer all my questions and had my system up and running very quickly. I installed in October and APS already owes me a nice chunk of change. I interviewed 5 different companies and I know I made the right choice with AZ Sun Services.

Great experience!

Before going solar we had done a TON of research. We received quotes from many different companies in the valley for many different sized systems, and ultimately decided to go with AZ Sun Services. We opted for the largest system we could possibly get (14.4 kw), along with the panel upgrade and extended warranty, and no one else could beat their pricing. I had another company trying very hard to poach our business, but after showing them the pricing we were getting, the competitor agreed that we were getting a really good deal. The system took a few months to become operational, but there were zero issues with installation or passing inspection. In order to install the new service panel, which was larger than our old one, they had to cut out a decorative archway that was made out of stucco in order to make the new panel fit. They took care of all wall/stucco repair associated with it, and it looks great! Our sales rep, Nathan, has always been reachable at all hours, including giving us his personal cell number. We ended up financing the system through Dividend, and have had a pleasant experience with them as well. With that being said, if you're in the market for a solar system, I highly suggest getting the largest system you can get and contacting AZ Sun Services for a quote.

Great customer servics

Being new to the whole solar concept, I knew little about any of this. I was tired of APS and their constant rate hikes so one day, after hearing on the radio of another rate hike, I decided to make some calls and go with the cheapest one. I spoke to Nathan Evringham and he was fantastic. He answered every question I had and in detail. Some of the questions I had were probably dumb questions being as I knew nothing about solar but after spending maybe 90 min on the phone, I was sold. My panels were installed in November 2018 and the following month it was nice to get an email bill from APS showing I owed them nothing. Az sun services knows everything about solar and are happy to walk you through the process whether it be the installation to hooking me up with the bank for financing. I highly recommend Az sun services

The Best Solar Company

AZ Solar services is the best solar company we found. My husband and I talked to a few solar companies, and found those companies didn't tell the truth and skirted our concerns, and left out informationt in their presentation. We never completely understood their answers to our questions, or sometimes our questions were never completely answered. How many of us fully understand the solar business. For example what type of panels are being installed, how efficient are they, will they be placed on the roof for the most efficiency, and will your current service panel supply the necessary voltage required for the system you are looking for. We found all these answers prior to signing any contract with a solar company. AZ solar Services was up front with us and they answered all our concerns. After the completed installation any additional question we had was fully addressed. After researching, we found APS has AZ Solar Services on a short list of solar companies that use standards and guidelines which puts them above other solar companies. And yes APS is on board with residential solar being installed. My husband and I are very pleased with AZ SolarServices. We highly recommend anyone considering solar, make AZ Solar Services a company you look into. We feel we have a company we can trust. We thank John Campbell and his entire staff for a job well done.

Start to finish great service

Az sun services was so easy to work with and made our solar process stress-free. Our sales guy was knowledgeable, electrician was on time and the installers were efficient, friendly, respectful and cleaned up after themselves. This company is very professional and trustworthy.

So So!

We were hopeful to have this service within a couple of months, We are now in the fourth month and still no service. the initial steps seem to go well; the loan , the paperwork, and the installation to a point. Then came the communication between the company and our power supplier; firstly, the plans put the wrong supplier , I alerted the company of this error but it did not edit the plans. this delayed the commissioning for the revising. Secondly, for some reason the power supplier did not have the plans and specifications on file, whose side this occurred I do not know. this delayed us for another couple of weeks. Now the loan payment starts and we are still awaiting the commissioning. Thirdly when the power supplier showed up to commission the service the company was not present. So as this scribing we are not commissioned. I could see minor glitches here or there, but I hope that this is not normal or uncorrectable.

Everything is working and installed to great satisfaction. The panels are streamline and aesthetically pleasant. The main panel installation was well placed and the tie in to my existing electric panel was smooth and seamless. Solar energy is being produced as planned and my electric bills are significantly lower.

Excellent Company

These folks were a pleasure to work with on the installation of my solar system. The installers were very courteous and took pains to insure their work did not detract from my home. They even offered to paint the piping where it shows outside the house, I declined the offer as I am having my homes exterior painted this spring. I would recommend this company to any and all who are interested in a solar installation.

Polite, professional and on time. I don't write reviews very often, but these guys exceeded expectations on ALL fronts. I spoke to 3 different solar companies and AZ Sun Services was extremely competitive on price and knocked it out of the park with the level of service they provided. John and Charlie were available for every random question I threw at them before, during and after installation. Charlie walked me through the process of submitting my request for solar with APS to ensure it was done right the first time. His attention to detail was flawless. APS installed the meter and approved the system in less than 2 weeks. My neighbor waited 4months!! Terry, their NABCEP certified installer, was on point. He was very thorough in telling me how the system worked and all the little things they did to ensure a top notch install. I would recommend these guys to anyone considering solar!! Great quality, service and product

The whole process was great, we were kept updated the whole time and the team of installers were professional and the job was done quickly. Due to them getting all the permits in a timely manner we had our solar turned on in less then a month after install. They stand behind their product with a great warranty on the panels and inverter. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of Az Sun Services
