Buyer Beware
Buyer beware...they installed my solar panels 10 years ago and I am still having issues with them, specifically Lee Smith, and getting the proper paperwork submitted to my town for sign off on my CO. I have already needed to pay out of pocket to extend my permit to avoid penalties and I now need to pay for someone to come and sign off on an Engineering Letter. My town has also tried to get the Letter from ASP, but Lee Smith has been given them the runaround and excuses. My next steps are writing the BBB and filing a claim with my local Department of Consumer Affairs.

Is American Solar Partners Still in Business????
ASP and Lee Smith, et al, installed our solar panels 4 years ago and did a fine job. We agreed to sell our extra solar credits back to a power company through Lee Smith. For 3 years we received quarterly checks from ASP. Everything was good until recently . . . I have not received any payments NOR have I been successful in reaching anyone from American Solar Partners. Earlier this year, at Lee Smith's requests, I provided him with banking information which would expedite our SREC payments via direct deposit. Have not heard a word since. Numerous emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. It begs the question: Is this still a legitimate business? What was done with my bank account information? Does anyone have an update on this company??

Good company
I was impressed with how attentive they were to all the details from start to finish. Excellent service. My solar system is up and running with no problems.

Smooth process
Right from day one this company went out of their way to answer any and all my questions. They were up front with costs and the steps needed. After I installed my system the IT department contacted me and helped me get it online and set up. Then at the end of the year I was contacted again and helped with the tax credit process and how to adjust the anniversary date of my system.
