American Electric

I have mold in my attic that has worked its way into my living space ceiling. The roofer I called to check it out found the problem was a slow drip from a solar panel bracket Lugnut that was not properly sealed when installed in 2016. My contract says I have a 10 year warranty. But Jesse Johnson of American electric tells me that doesn’t apply to me because it was installed before I bought the house in 2017 and after all his people are “ electricians not carpenters”. My solar panel system cost $27,842 to install. There’s nothing in the contract I have that says anything about losing a warranty when the property is sold. so check your attics people if you were unfortunate enough to have American Electric install your solar panels

Graduated with an engineering degree and retired (after 34 years) as engineering division head for the Navy (Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard). I had numerous internet quotes (16) from various local solar companies. I invited 6 to my home after I had done my own research on all the products and performed my own calculations to make a comparative analysis on the differing systems and products. The products I chose was based on my calculations and the company I chose was based on work quality. I did not go with the system/company with the cheapest price.
