We needed our solar panels taken down and put back up for a roof replacement. It's obvious that Dave as a former engineer as he was detail focused. He also easily explained what work he had to do and the issues he might uncover. The quote was clearly explained, with the understanding there was be other incremental additional charges. (There were a few, very minor in cost and explained in a simple, understandable manner.) Once he and his crew (shout out to former librarian Courtney!) there was little disruption from them; except for our 3 dogs not liking strangers. But again, they were understanding of our rules; keep the gates closed behind them, let us know before they had to enter our back yard, and when they were clear, etc. Dave's was excellent at communicating promptly, from the initial appointment and the later quote, to when work and payments were due, and even their levels of progress during. Lastly, their quote was very reasonable; I had one other that was twice what Roam Solar offered to do the job for. I would happily recommend Dave and Roam Solar to family, freind or neighbor.

The day after I called ROAM Solar Dave Lee visited my home and diagnosed my non-working PV solar system (installed in 2006) as needing a new inverter, a common problem. After advising me on a replacement inverter, he supported my finding a deal on eBay for a "new old stock" inverter (provided it was still covered by the factory warranty), and in so doing I saved about $500 on the repair. A couple of weeks later he and his assistant removed the old inverter and installed the new inverter, which also required converting my solar PV connection to my mains panel from 120VAC to 240VAC. Everything has been running smoothly since.
