We had been toying with the idea of going solar for many reasons: lower our electric bill, increase the value of our home, and most importantly to help reduce our dependance on fossil fuel electricity. Back in February of 2016 we put on our barn a new standing-seam metal roof - a perfect platform to anchor solar panels! We contacted Revision Energy, they came right out and measured the position of our barn roof to see if it was ideal for solar, took down our annual electricity usage, and they worked up a 30-panel array that would essential generate enough electricity to cover our annual usage. It took awhile for us to make a decision and we had many questions which RE always were happy to give us the answers to. We went to ahead and said do it and within a few weeks they were on site. In less than two days they had us producing our own clean sun energy! EVERYONE we came in contact with was extremely polite, friendly, helpful, honest, and accommodating. The price they quoted was fair and accurate with no gimmicks or tricks. It was nice to get my first monthly bill from CMP - $12. It's fun to watch how much electricity I generate every day, too. Revision Energy is a fantastic customer-oriented business that passionately believes in the product they sell and the reasons why solar is good for the planet. I highly recommend to anyone thinking about solar to get in touch with Revision Energy. I might also add I greatly appreciate the political lobbying they do on behalf of people like me who have solar and for those who are looking to enter into owning solar to help encourage the growth of the industry in Maine.
