My Solar City experience was great. Professional and timely communication, rapport with the agents...exceptional customer service.<br /><br />Where I knock Solar City is the timeline. I was approved, installed, and "ready" in 3 wks. So why does it take most 3 months to turn on? SC referred me to my city and power company, and their requirements. This should be the focus area to improve. Most customers, like me, are tired of getting exploited by the local power company for on peak rates and want our solar up and running at the soonest.<br /><br />My best advice is to call the city and power company daily to hound them inton"approving" your system. After some bird dogging, mine was activated in 2 mos.
