Sales Pitch and performance of system was WAY over promised. Dealt with the owner Bill Gallagher and everything he said never happened. I made the mistake of buying every product and service he offered. This included 18 of the top of the line SUN POWER solar panels, DC solar panel based 'Split' air conditioner for my garage/wood shop, thermal blanket for attic, solar powered attic fan, solar assisted high efficiency water heater, etc. This was all with the idea that spending around $55k would lower our Duke Energy bill from $229/mo avg for the year down to the min $9 service charge. Instead what I got was to lower my avg bill by $79. $55k divided by $79 = 696 months. My new air conditioner has only been used for 20 to 30 days and has broken down 3 times already. They put in such a cheap unit when it broke they had no parts and I had to wait over a week for the them to fix it. I have made over 20 phone calls to speak with SolarFit owner, Bill Gallagher and he never calls me back. The one time I reached him he said I will have to call you back (NOT!). Maybe you would say they haven't done anything illegal; but I feel like I AM DEALING WITH CROOKS.
