This is concerning our water panels for the pool. Been using this company for 23 years, original install, re-roof (remove and reinstall), 2nd re-roof (remove and replace). the original panels lasted 23 years without incidence. Installers were on time, explained everything, how the new control panel worked. Professional, pleasant, proficient....

Job was to replace the 6 solar pool panels that had worn out after 15 years. Completed 6 weeks ago. Very pleased with the new Helicol panels, and the little extras that were included. Shimmed up the feed pipes to allow better drainage. Bundled the wires to clean up the timer and controls. Fixed a leaking flow valve as an extra. Impressed with both the company and the skilled staff who did the work. Really nice job. No leaks so far. Note the system size below is non sequitur. This was pool water heating, not PV so no KW actually available.

I was extremely pleased with my first system, but my second system keeps breaking and leaking. I was hoping Solar Source would extend some latitude on my 4th bill this year, but they didn’t. I’ve been reaching out to speak to the manager for several days, but he doesn’t return calls. At least in a timely manner. Don’t do business with Solar Source. The system is a lemon, it leaks, it doesn’t warm the pool, and the company doesn’t service what they sell. Run!!!

Had a great experience with Solar Source. Our sales person Stephen was honest, not pushy, thorough and had excellent follow-up. Was impressed by the installers and quality of work.

I have found Solar Source to be an excellent company for my solar rooftop array. My solar array was installed quite a few years ago by another company which I thought was great. Unfortunately that company went out of business and thankfully referred me to Solar Source. I have been extremely happy with my new relationship with Solar Source. They first inspected my existing solar system, determined my needed repairs after damage from Hurricane Milton, and gave me a quote. I was very happy with the subsequent repair work that Solar Source performed. They adjusted my estimate to properly reflect the actual repairs performed, and they did excellent work. I am very pleased to have Solar Source in my corner going forward for ongoing solar rooftop PV array maintenance as needed. It's a huge relief to me to find another solar company that I can trust and rely upon for their much needed expertise. I highly recommend Solar Source as a trustworthy solar provider. They came to my recue when I really needed them, delivered top notch service, and I am very glad to have found such a reputable company. !!!

The installation was done was done as scheduled and on time. The installation team worked efficiently and keeping us informed of the progress. Hoping the Final Inspection will find that everything is as it should be. Waiting to see when the system is turned on and how it functions.

Equipment delay caused by Tesla , not Solar sources doing, other than getting stuck with a problematic supplier. Salesman, Dave Osborn was very knowledgeable and quite strait forward. Was very dependable returning updates and answers. Roof stallion crew from Orlando, headed by Mauricio, was fantastic. They installed 28 panels in 4hrs. Very efficient and cleaned up afterwards. The electricians working on the switch gear and batteries, completed hook up in 3 days. Very professional and neat. Cleaned up and answered questions and explained system operations so a layman could understand. Overall I would highly recommend Solar Source . They were not the least expensive, but you get what you pay for, in this case , a excellent job.

Lost our old system during Milton. Stephen Corry did a great job getting our quote and explaining the new system. We were put on the schedule quickly and the installers did a professional installation. The new panels seem to do a better job than the old ones. The Heliocoil panels are great! Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a new system.

I recently had a my Duke Energy electricity supply re-routed from an overhead line to an underground line. Solar Source assisted Duke Energy on this swap, because it was the necessary prelude to Solar Source installing solar panels on the roof of my house. In the process, Solar Source's Engineer, Shawn Workman, was most cordial and thoroughly professional. Before mounting the solar panels, Solar Source installed a new roof on my house. Their crews were on schedule; they worked efficiently, and their results met or exceeded all of my expectations. Field Supervisor, Cassidy Richter, exhibited the same fine qualities as Shawn Workman. So did Ben Piper, Solar Source’s Residential Sales Director, with whom I contracted the work. The high calibre of Solar Source’s personnel was a prime factor in the successful and timely completion of my project.

Solar Source added 12 panels to the 20 we already had. They did a professional job. The new panels are producing 20kw+ on a daily basis. There is one small niggling problem with one of the screens on the enphase site which shows daily output. It appears that this minor issue is the responsibility of Enphase, not Solar Source.

Our sales rep, Bryan was experienced and helpful. He, along with the installers and technicians, were prompt and responsive to our specific needs.

We've had a wonderful experience! We now swim year round in our pool. It's still a bit chilly in January (the sun can only do so much through our screen) but it has increased our swimming to almost every day of the year. With 2 kids under 10, this has been amazing for wearing them out. We finally make bed time happen...On Time! I would highly recommend. Work with David Spanier if you can. He streamlined the process for us and has since been really helpful anytime I had a question. (BTW, when I filled in the "panel" "system size" and "inverter" below I'm just putting in what's written on the side of my pool pump info area. That might not be the correct info (But that's what I have David for!). I haven't had any issues with any of the equipment.

Solar Source helped us fix the gigantic mess we had with Orange County because our original installer, Sunlight Solar, never got the electrical permitting finalized. We had no idea there were 2 permits with the county. This is because they would never have passed, our electric panel box was too undersized to handle the Solar addition, and Sunlight Solar only added 2 breakers to the panel. When the Orange County Electrical Inspector came out, he said there's no way it would have passed, our electric panel was undersized for the new load, and we had to spend thousands of dollars fixing the mess Sunlight Solar made, including upgrading our entire electrical panel to a much higher amperage. That's not counting the nearly dozen solar optimizers, and THREE solar inverters that went bad. Beware who you get to install your solar, and CHECK YOUR PERMITS WITH THE COUNTY to verify they are completed and passed inspections! We didn't know, and boy did we pay for it. Solar Source has been professional and helpful with the entire electrical repair process. Shawn Workman is a phenomenal electrician, and bent over backwards to make our electrical system repair easier (it was not easy, since the new panel was much larger than the original). The company is incredibly busy, and one of the few who work with SolarEdge inverter systems, so this was no quick fix, but it's worth the wait to get things done right. We would definitely recommend them.

10/2022: Just had an 11.6kW system installed in Orlando by Solar Source. They were not the most competitive price but I am happy I chose them. Like all large, expensive projects there were hiccups along the way but Solar Source was always on top of it. Mustafa was my sales rep and he was great. Very knowledgeably. He constantly checked in with me throughout the process and was available 24/7 it seemed. Once my system was installed I called with a question about the app, the service dept took my call right away and fixed everything within the hour. From my experience they are very responsive and customer focused. Process took 3 months but much of that was waiting on specific panels they were nice enough to special order for me. Overall I highly recommend Solar Source. If I ever move or need more panels I will definitely be using them again.

These guys are simply amazing! I worked mostly with Mustafa and Cassidy from Solar Source. Right from the very beginning, communication with them and the company was top-notch. I always got a swift response to emails, phone calls, and texts. My installation was very complex, as it was an upgrade to an existing system, doubled the size of the array, added two new inverters, two batteries, an EV charger, and enabled enhanced system monitoring. The team did an amazing job and I was always kept well-informed of their progress on the installation and configuration. The complexity of my system made it so that the team had to come out to my home numerous times and work collaboratively with the manufacturer on my equipment to get it all working exactly the way I was looking for. They were always a pleasure to work with, and even let me know when they detected issues and came out to service the system without me even having to initiate! Our system was put in just before hurricane Ian came through. The storm damaged two of the panels, and the company came out to replace the damaged panels first thing on the Monday morning following the storm. No questions asked, no issues or challenges, they simply came and took care of it! Solar Source offers truly amazing service, which is remarkable in this day and age. I could not be happier!

I purchased my first set 22 panel PV Solar system (Enphase) from Nick Arcenaux and David Spanier in 2012 (back then the company was called Superior Solar). The entire process from getting a quote, answering all of our questions, purchasing and installing was very professional. Before we went with them I was able to see another companies work in my neighborhood and geez was it ugly. The install at my house looks amazing, everything is water tight, no wires hanging around, the tie into the meter is flawless, and they even spent additional time to route through the attic so that it wouldn’t interfere with my storage space. Over the years since 2012 I have had over 18 service calls. Most were to replace faulty Enphase inverters at no cost to me (covered by warranty). Solar Source made the process easy, just called to report a problem, they confirmed it within seconds, they submit a warrant claim and call you back to schedule a service appointment once the part is received (if they don’t have it already). You can tell they want your solar system to get back to 100% as much as you do. In most cases I didn’t even need to be home for the service appointment since everything is outside which is great. In addition to warranty service calls, I also had Solar Source handle the panels when I needed the shingles on my roof to be replaced. They removed the panels, placed them in my garage and then re-installed them once the roof was completed. I trust Solar Source, I recommend Solar Source to my neighbors, friends and family, I even tell sales people from other solar companies that knock on my door (Yes they still do) about Solar Source. I have shown others in my area my install at my house. This is why I purchased a second system (Solar Edge) of 20 panels in 2020. Now I am net zero. With this new system I did have to get the inverter replaced, which I followed the previously mentioned process and just like that, a 30 minute swap out fixed my issue. No cost to me. It’s great to know they are there for the customer well after your purchase, year after year, and not going anywhere. Thanks Solar Source!

I purchased my solar panels from Solar Source thru a local co-op (St Pete co-op). I think that made things a lot easier. The price negotiations, loans, etc, were handled thru the co-op. Solar Source explained things clearly, helped me choose the right array for my needs and since installation their customer service has been excellent. (They even answer the phone!)

Nick, Lindsay, Jake, Richard, Ryan and everyone else I did not see made the impossible, possible. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. They got me thru a HOA and a difficult utility. I will be thankful for the savings now and 20 years from now. This is my third job with Solar Source aka superior solar. So thankful.

Solar Source provides excellent service and an excellent product. I purchased a solar pool heater from them about a year ago and it works great and they provide THE BEST service. Their sales rep Bryan Hammond was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to reviewing my options before I purchased it a year ago, and all of their service people have been excellent. I've had only one problem with the heater since I bought it a year ago - a temperature sensor was working intermittently. Their service people came out and fixed it, and even helped me with problems I was having with my pump and salt chlorine generator which I had purchased from another vendor, and didn't charge me anything. Their service people are the most knowledgeable, proficient, helpful, and friendly service people I have ever seen. I would highly recommend them.

I went from over $300 in electric to a $35 (minimum charge) a month. I couldn't say enough about Solar Source from their Sales Representative to their installers. They all were very professional and knowledgeable. They kept me up to date every step of the way. I would highly recommend this company and so glad I now have solar making my power.

It has been 4 years since we had solar panels installed. The entire process was flawless, from ordering to installation to going online. The entire team did an exceptional job. Kris Vandiver our salesperson was very good, he was upfront with pricing and wasn't pushy. Installation was completed in about 4 1/2 hours. When the building inspector did his job his comment was " One of the best installation he has seen." Our bills from OUC has averaged about $19 per month and a carryover at the end of the year to pay for the first 3 months of the next year. This is base on a couple in a 2,100 sq. ft. house.

Our six year old SolarEdge inverter failed. Solar Source was one of a very few installers interested in inspecting, troubleshooting, upgrading and replacing the inverter. The failed inverter was originally installed on the outside of our garage. Upon my request, the replacement unit was repositioned on the inside, for security reasons. Due to Ernie Gomez (Sales Rep.) expertises, I decided to add an additional 10 panels. Solar Source exceptional methods, of anchoring the panels to our tiled roof; their methods of running interfacing, from the panel strings through the attic, through the garage ceiling, with necessary components located inside of the garage, instead of outside, was a work of art. Chri Ali, Cassidy, Ryan, Naue, BJ and others of the team are exceptional.

Our salesperson, was very professional. Installation was excellent. We had the solar installed around October 1st. We thought the solar would have extended our pool season longer.

Our whole solar set up process was seamless, and we were very well informed along each phase of the process. Solar Source and our rep Jarid, were responsive to all inquiries very quickly and were very knowledgeable. We have read many negative reviews for different companies as we shopped for solar. Our experience with Solar Source was the exact opposite of what other companies reviews complained about. 1. We always got a response extremely quickly to any inquiries. Great customer service!! 2. We got exactly what we were told we would get. 3. Our rep did not forget about us after making a sale. 4. The price of the package with everything that is included was very reasonable. 5. LAST BUT NOT LEAST; Solar Source NEVER showed up on our door step unannounced (causing chaos potentially between client meetings with 3 dogs and a parrot at home) pushing their product without taking a simple no as an answer.

Everything Brian & team explained & planned went as designed. The only "issue" was a panel was not working due to a bad inverter. I didn't even realize it, but Solar Source called me to tell me & schedule techs to come out & troubleshoot & eventually replace. There were many factors that favored Solar Source after talking to 5 different companies, but the deciding reason I ultimately chose Solar Source was they were the only ones that were able to provide solar power to my whole house generator also. I had a couple of companies tell me it was impossible. I'd highly recommend Solar Source. I never got the feeling I was being "sold" anything. They were very knowledgeable, clear & upfront & laid out options for my install.

He made my first impression of this company an extremely favorable one. An operation I could trust, which is important to me since I am older and a widow. No question I asked was to "dumb". I was treated with the utmost respect. He was not pushy, but showed me great respect. After I signed the contract with him, after many discussions, the process started and the whole operation behind him stepped in to complete the job. They guided me through the whole process with respect and dignity. When I had a question, it was quickly answered by a human. Bryan was with me the whole way.
