We are very impressed with the high degree of professionalism, knowledge and integrity this company have. Yamitza, Wilson and their crew of certified electricians and techs, guided us, answered questions and concerns from the beginning of the process, gave us orientation on what kind of systems we need it, etc. They were very honest, and gave us different choices of what kind of batteries, the minimum of solar panels we really need it, and interviewed us on our lifestyle and use of appliances, energy, so we got what we really need it. They also gave us advice on what appliance to replace short term and long term, understanding that one has to make and investment and that in the long term one will be saving money. Every time I talk with any of the Energy Fusion Crew, -including Yamitza and Wilson, I feel I am learning a lot about my energy consuming behavior, saving energy, and how to use the equipment to run smartly and efficiently. Be aware if anything goes wrong with you system, although they will fix it for "free" your downtime could be months. My inverter stopped working after 4 years, the technician came out to confirm and told me it would be 2-3 weeks to get a new one ordered and installed, meanwhile I'm without solar power and my PG&E bill goes way up. Calling back Sunrun after 3-4 weeks I'm now told it could take up to 2 months to get a new inverter because each one is customized. Meanwhile I continue to pay SunRun $180 a month to lease a nonfunctional system. I will not be compensated for the time off line by a reduction of my lease bill unless the yearly average of solar energy generated goes below their guaranteed minimum, then they will compensate me at a rate of about 6-7 cents per KWH. Meanwhile I'm paying PG&E up to 20 cents per KWH for the upper tiers while my system is down. Because of the above reasons I would not recommend SunRun as a company to purchase or lease a solar system. Check around, read the fine print. Also many companies have a flat lease rate. SunRun's lease agreement goes up 2% / year for 20 years.... read more

This lease sounded like a good idea on paper. The system is guaranteed to produce power equal to 110% of my previous years consumption, at a rate slightly less than what PG&E charged, and locked into that rate compared to the typical rise in power costs.
Installation took months longer than promised. The left the gate to my fence in back yard open routinely, and unplugged my sump pump, failing to plug it back in before rains came. My garage flooded. Once it was finally switched on, I expected my PG&E bills to drop to nothing. They didn't budge. PG&E claims they do not monitor my power production, simply bill me for the excess that i draw from the grid. So either the solar setup produces no power at all, or not feeding power to the grid. Time to hire an independent electrician to inspect the work of the incompetent morons.... read more
