I have thought of installing solar for years. I had concerns around the appearance since the panels were ideally located for correct exposure on my road facing garage roof. I also wondered if the price would come down some more and didn't want to be one of the trial cases or early adopters and miss out on the price drops and new and improved panels to come. All that said the black panels are hardly ever noticed by newcomers to our house. Even our kids who had seen my nerdy step by step Facebook pictures forgot all about them and didn't notice them when they parked right underneath them. And the minute I switched them on my bill went to $2 the first 2 weeks and $25 the next month from $200 the year before. We have been making around a megawatt of electricity a month since first turned on in April. I look forward to seeing my bills now knowing I am being environmentally friendly and saving money. Two things that I am fond of. The installers couldn't have been more careful of my property or respectful of my time. The install looks great and almost overbuilt in terms of code and safety. I have absolutely no regrets and nothing but praise for Revision. Wish I had done it sooner. My home wifi router went down a couple of months after install and a revision engineer talked me through the software reboot and fixed the issue so I could go back to checking my power production on my iPhone. I know I am an nerd but...Because I couldn't do this during business hours he did this after hours while he was on the road leaving for vacation. Great service.... read more
