The contractors that installed the system were very professional and did excellent work. The financial sales presentation was the part that did not live up to expectations. I purchased the system with the idea that I could lower my bills in my retirement years. I was informed that my system, that they designed based on my usage data from my electric company, would cover 89% of my electrical usage. After installation and 6 months of usage I have had less than 50% of my electrical needs met by solar. The other issue is that I would get a tax credit that would cover $8000 of the cost. I do not pay $8000 dollars in taxes so I could not take full advantage of that so it became another out-of-pocket expense. I can accept part of the responsibility for not thinking that through. My main issue is the incorrect information about the percentage of my electrical usage that the system would cover. After pursuing this with customer service, I was informed that the system is working as it should and there is nothing else they can do.
