Sundurance Solar, LLC

County Approved Engineered drawings were not followed at time of instillation placing 8 of 54 panels in a different location on the roof. Asked why and they said too many roof vent piopes. The system should be generating on average 81Kw per day according to Sundurance and solardirect.com which states Orlando will generate 5.27 sun hours per day. After 4 months of the system in service I have gereated on average 62.3Kw. IS THIS BECAUSE SUNDURANCE DEVIATED FROM THE ENGINEERED DRAWINGS????

Average
When we order engineering it is done from satellite imagery, so those drawings are done in a vacuum. When the installers come out, they asses the actual site conditions and put the panels in the most productive place. In construction it is commonly referred to as "AS BUILT". This is very common and has nothing to do with production issues. The problem is we have had the rainiest summer in years, the whole four months your system has been running it has been the hottest and worse weather for solar. All of these systems are built on averages, you cannot judge a system production for a 1/3 of a year in the worse weather. Had you system come online in January, you would not be concerned. We stand behind what we do, please call the office and ask for Mike, you will be taken care of as all of our customers are.
BTW. I have a service tech scheduled to come out to your place tomorrow and make sure everything is working properly.
After going through your monitoring since the system was turned on, it is more than obvious this is a weather issue. All panels are functioning perfectly. In the month of May, which wasn't perfect weather, but it wasn't as wet as the rest of the months, you averaged 73.25kwh a day with the high of 89.32kwh on May 6th. As the year goes on and the weather clears and cools off, you will see these numbers adjust. Your system is perfect and you have gotten what you paid for, we just can't control the weather. I am still sending a tech out for your peace of mind.

After this review Sundurance contacted me and we were able to discuss the issue I think I am having. I have to give Susan and Mike at Sundurance kudos for reaching out to me so quickly. I do hope the weather clears so my production increases. Thank you for your assistance
