Beware of this company if you are leasing their panels. They will put a lien on your mortgage for the panels. They also inspected my roof before installation and said it was fine. When I asked the sales representative before I installed them about what would happen if I had to remove them and he told me they will take them off and put them back on never mentioning a cost associated with it. Four years later i need a new roof and when I contacted Sunrun they quoted me $10,000 to remove and reinstall their solar panels. I don't even own them. They sent me a screen shot of the fine print in their contract stating this cost in their service. They are sneaky liars. if they come to your door shut it on their face.

Hi Micka, We can assure you that Sunrun does not place liens on your home. Oftentimes, a Preliminary Title Search will show Sunrun's UCC or Notice of Independent Energy Producer (NOIEPC) filing. This can sometimes cause confusion because the lender/financier thinks the panels are a part of your property. These filings state that Sunrun owns the Solar Facility and provides power to the home from a source independent of the utility company.
