After 7 years, the inverter failed. Since it comes with a 10-year warranty, it was replaced with a reconditioned unit (like new). This makes more sense than attempting to repair the failed unit in place. Naturally, the "new" inverter has only the remaining 3 years of warranty, but that is to be expected. And, based on our experience, it should continue to work well.
